Their referral person messed up TWICE on my daughter's referral. Once by not running through both of her insurance providers. She tried to lie and say she only gave her one card, but what really happened was she ran it through the one insurance twice. Then, when she went to run it through the second insurance, she forgot to mark it "urgent". This put off urgent testing for an additional 3 DAYS!!! Thank you for the stress on my daughter and her family!!! NOT IMPRESSED!!!! My daughter did like the doctor and I feel they were thorough with her eye exam. It's unfortunate, but the referral person has tarnished their reputation with my family.

I saw Dr. Pelzer today and had what I thought was a very nice encounter. Pushed a little hard on the Contact Lens front but over all was really nice. However at the end they gave me my glasses prescription and sent me on my way, never even asking if I wanted to look at frames or anything. When I looked at my prescription later I notice they never included my Pupillary Distance so I'm not able to even order any glasses. I called and asked them if it was something separate I needed to be seen for or if they had it on file to give it to me and they out right refused, telling me "We don't give out that information." Not only did they refuse but the demeanor of the associate turned hostile as soon as I said I was looking online. It is MY medical information, I have a right to it and you have no reason to withhold it from me. If you weren't interested in me buying glasses there you especially have no right to withhold my information regarding other purchases. I thought this was going to be a good experience but I'm disappointed in the situation.

They are professional and care about you as a person. I did not feel like a number. They are with you every step of the way for lasik. My vision were 20/800 now they are 20/20 and 20/80.

Rude staff! Waited over 1 hour to just pick out safety glasses terrible selection. I now remember why we changed eye clinics eye care specialists are friendly and great selection of glasses.

My five children each had a great experience and very thorough eye exams! My 8 year old daughter got glasses for the first time. I have complete piece of mind knowing that she has ZEISS lenses, which provide complete protection against UV rays up to 400nm! That is so important for eye health! Not to mention she looks absolutely adorable in the cute OGI frames we picked out from the optical department which offers a great selection of frames and lens options.

I haven't had my eyes checked in years. I made an appointment and showed up 15 min early. I did have a wait but it wasn't too bad. Probably 20 min. Which I didnt mind, it gave me time to read the newspaper. Once they took me back to do the exam. They answered questions that I had and took care of me. A week later my glasses were ready snd they made sure they were perfect before I left. Thank you 5 star service will be back next year.

Very long wait times every time I have an appt. Anywhere from 1 and a half hours to 2+ hours. I understand when you go to Dr there will be times u need to wait but this is excessive.

Friendly staff, great selection of designer glasses! Extremely slow lab, 3+weeks to get your order of 1 pair of glasses, if you need your quicker this is not the place for you.

I provide transportation to this office for several family members. Every... Single.....Time we have to wait a minimum of 2 hours usually 3 just to get into a room. There seems to be a rather high rate of turnover as they are always "short handed" According to staff at each visit someone has quit which is never a good indicator of how a business is run

I have been going to Mauer and seeing Dr. Hartman for years and I have loved their staff and their work. Very nice and efficient staff! I want to give a great shoutout to Tyler. He has been super helpful and is very knowledgeable with what he does. Great place!

The eye exam was ok and fast, but the follow up with prescription and refills made it almost impossible to work.forgetting to call in prescription wasting my time calling and checking and still no call...had to start all over ..

All the doctors who work here are outstanding. Julie the front desk manager/ building manager is so sweet, you will not find a nicer women. The staff are amazing, the patients are awesome. Now let me tell you about working for the COO, or the overlord whichever you would like to call her. She is bipolar, hateful and downright viciously mean to the staff and she is allowed to do so because it is all about the almighty dollar. If you want to be treated fairly or given praise when you've done a good job and the patients have voiced it. Think again because she will only degrade the work you've done. If she ever leaves this company it would be a great place to work.

The service was fast and courteous. The doctor was very thorough and helpful. The glasses was fitted perfectly and came back after one week. I was very satisfied.

Recently had Lasik completed by Dr. Mauer. From initial screening, to surgery, to follow up appointments treatment was exceptional. I was happy with all aspects of the process to include the final product. Seeing 20/20 with minimal discomfort within 24 hours. Eyes feel back to normal within 1 week. Dr. Mauer was professional during all interactions. I suspect the cynics that posted below me have special snowflake syndrome.

I came here for a contact lense exam and they forcefully held my eye open to put the contacts in. I told the associate that I did not want her to do this but she did not listen and then put the other contact in as I was crying and trying to turn my head away. She then laughed at me when I said that I wanted to go home. I had to stay there for 2 hours to get them out because I would not let anyone touch me like that again but I soon realized that I could not get them out and the associate kept touching me to try and emphasise that she needed to take them out but she was very rude about it. I told her "no" so she went to get another associate to help her take them out. I told them both "no" and attempted to take them out myself but I was taken by the arm to a different room where another lady came in who I did not know and all three of the women forcefully held me down and took them out. I have never felt more violated in my life and I will not be going back. Please do not go through the same humiliation and pain that I went through.
