The doctor did a fantastic job. I had to bring my children with me and he did not get frustrated once that they were in the room with me. Very professional. The cost of my contacts were explained thoroughly and was affordable. Only thing I would say was a bit off setting is that the only people to smile was the doctor and receptionist

Super helpful and courteous staff. The did a great job helping me get the most benefit out of my insurance, and explaining the exam process every step of the way. The only criticism I could offer is that they don't grind lenses in house, so they have to be sent away for. A week isn't actually all that long of a time, and you could always take your prescription somewhere local if you're so inclined.

Dr. Jansma is great. Very down to earth yet extremely knowledgeable. Trust her with my eyes as well as my 3-year old son. Front office staff is top-notch! Great glasses selection. Highly recommend their southside clinic!

Received a bill the first of May for the last two years. Really! Because of your lack of personnel, I owe $196.00. When on a fixed income, this is a hardship. I should not be penalized because you don't have sufficient staffing. I give you credit for the nice employees that I have encountered during my visits.

Eyecare of iowa south did a excellent job with me answered all questions and concerns i had with my eyes since i do work in a call center and on the computer 40 hrs a week the doctor i had dr ward was excellent addressed my issues i got what i needed now my eyes are so much better the wait wasn't long soon as i walked in they got you in and out of there definitely will come back if i have anymore questions or get another set of glasses the price and copay was affordable thank you eyecare of iowa dr ward and doug!! :)

I have used the Pleasant Hill location for around 8 years with great service from all area, including the receptionist, insurance verification, thorough exams, and assistance with picking out my glasses. Last year my insurance changed and that location did not accept my insurance. However, the Army Post Rd branch did accept my insurance and I was able to see the same Dr and they had access to all my history. Last year I took my 3 kids and they were very good with meeting the needs of their various ages.

I love the place. They were very friendly to me except for one person they had in the front selling glasses . She lied to me and tired to get me to buy expensive glasses. Told me my frames could not be fixed and one of the other said they could. She was gone the last time I was there. Yea. Other then that I love the place even my cute DR.

I've been going for about 3 years now and never had a complaint. I do commend Dr Blasco (the son) for seeing something that a few eye docs haven't seen which I know I had to of had the problem before because it's associated with my weight. He was very concerned at what he saw and recommended me to a Retina specialist. I am so grateful that he looked deeper into the problem I had been having with my eyes.

I have been seeing Dr Nesheim at the Army Post Road location for over ten years. I have always been completely satisfied. All of the staff is friendly and courteous. Dr Nesheim always has time for any questions I might have. I would recommend this office to anyone in need of quality eye care.

Dr. Lee at Eye Care of Iowa is great! He once saw something that was a little suspect when looking at my dilated eyes and referred me to a retina specialist who indeed saw something that needed attention right away. Because Dr. Lee cared enough to look at my eyes thoroughly, the small tears in my retinas were fixed via laser surgery before my retinas became completely detached. I have since moved away from the south side but I continue to go back for my eye appointments. And the rest of the staff at this location is great too!! In and out with very little wait time. I appreciate a place that knows my time is valuable.
