Our family has been coming here since our daughter had eye therapy over 10 years ago. The staff has always been very friendly. We were out of town and our son forgot his contact they were awesome in finding an office that would help us with replacements. We have three generations going to Cedar Rapids eye care at this time . We highly recommend Cedar Rapids Eye Care!

It had been quite a few years since my last eye exam and I decided to try Cedar Rapids Eye Care as it was close to work. I saw Dr. Ryan Berger - he was so nice and very thorough! I purchased both prescription sunglasses and eyeglasses from there as well. I must have tried on 30 frames and really appreciate the time they took to help me pick out the right pair. They have a great selection with all of the top brands. Will definitely stick with this office from now on!

The actual eye doctors are very nice but they're not very careful. I've been going here two and a half years. I just found out today that the perception I have been wearing and the prescription that's in my chart are two different ones. No one caught this until I called today because what I left the office with didn't match what I had at home. Surprise! They're both wrong. Now I have to run across town and pick up what I'm hoping is the presciption in my chart. This happened work my daughter last month too, so they're 0 for 2. This might explain the horrible headaches I have had for 2+ years. I thought they were a hormone issue, but it might be because of eye strain.

Not real happy with our interactions here. Went to get our son tested for his visual development which was awkward. My wife came in late and the font desk would not allow her to go back with me, so she left as she didn't understand what was going on. And it was implied we would see the the results of the test on the day of which was not the case, so we had to schedule another appointment to go over the results as it would take time for them to "crunch" the numbers. So we came back and were handed a lengthy report which is really just cut and pasted the percentiles of our son's evaluation without actually seeing the raw data. 99% of the report is explaining what they are testing. The data could have easily fit on a note card. Anyway, we were there 15 min early and ended up having plenty of time to read through the report as they we 45 min late getting to us. No warning on running behind. And the doctor didn't seem to read up on our son's numbers as they had to look everything up. Anyway, I would not recommend taking your child here for sensory/visual processing but do tour to get in your own opinion. Another place to check out is Fitzgerald and Associates.

My Wife, Son, and Myself see three different Dr.'s and they all do a great job caring for our family. I personally see Dr. Berger and he's very attentive. I struggled for a while finding an eye care center that had great support all around from the Dr. to front desk staff to billing etc. and they do a great job. I highly recommend Cedar Rapids Eye Care!

Our family has gone to Cedar Rapids Eye Care since our daughters were in elementary school (now graduating :) ). We have always gotten thorough exams and each change the girls' eyes have gone through, as well as my husband's and my more recent changes (hello progressives) have been explained as well as corrected. Not only do they use cutting edge diagnostics, but they explain what each test and picture reveals about the overall health of our eyes.The office staff is very friendly and helpful, whether it be with rebate info or providing opinions on which glasses look the best. I couldn't give a higher rating, they are truly wonderful.

The best eye care place I’ve ever been to. I have been coming to CR Eye care since 1999 and have always gotten the BEST eye care and customer service. The doctors are very detailed and have extensive training and options for all ages of patients. I have been bringing my 12 year old daughter here since she was an infant, for preventative screenings and as she needed glasses in elementary. They also work with kids who may have learning issues based on their eye functions. It truly is astounding. The testing that they do for macular degeneration and glaucoma, as well as overall eye health are state of the art. As I am now in my midlife, CR Eye care is a great parter to help with the ever changing eye sight that the lovely 40’s bring. I am so glad to have been reccomended to them 20 years ago!

Our entire family (2 adults 3 boys) goes to CR Eye Care. They provide excellent service and always go above and beyond. My youngest son (age 9) is in Vision Therapy with Maria. I cannot express enough how important this has been for his development. We have seen him progress in leaps and bounds. It is amazing to see how much their work is improving and strengthening his eyes. We look forward to our visits and can always count on them for the latest information. The doctors and staff put us, as a family, first and are always happy to accommodate our schedule.

We have come here for years, I’ve had glasses since I was 8. The eye doctors are AMAZING! However, this last time I went, my sister and I ordered glasses at the same time. The man who helped us put the wrong prescription on the order and gave my prescription to my sister and hers to me. We got that solved and then I had to get new lenses again, which they were good about. HOWEVER, when they came in I had to drop my frames off so they could grind the lenses. When we came to pick them up, they had not been done because they were “put in the wrong tray”. We had a 9 am appointment for them to get done and because the frames “weren’t there”, they just didn’t get done. While discussing this with the same man who messed up the first pair, he was not kind or polite and tried to put the blame on someone else. I am VERY disappointed with this service and if I did not like the doctors I would not be returning here.

What a great experience I had with Cedar Rapids Eye Care from start to finish. The waiting room was nice and clean, the receptionist was friendly and the wait time was exactly on with my appointment scheduled time. Dr Berger was very professional, knowledgeable and made me feel very comfortable during my entire eye exam. He took the time to explain each exam and the importance of eye care. He also followed up with me on my prescription and how my glasses worked out. I really appreciated the time and attention not only when I showed up for my exam, but even after my appointment.
