Worst experience I have ever had with eye glasses. I used their prescription to order eyeglasses from a different company. When I received my new glasses my vision was terrible. Dr. Coats had told me my eyes hadn’t changed much. So I knew that either the lenses were bad or the prescription was bad or both. I needed to have a process of elimination and checking the prescription was first. I went back to a doctor I had used in past years and had my eyes retested. It turns out my eyes have changed dramatically!!!! I got new lenses using the correct prescription and now my eyesight is great. I only went to Yaran to support a local business. So I was surprised and disappointed when they refused to give me a refund for the bad prescription they gave me. Not only did I have to pay for another exam, but I had to pay for new glasses. They said I should have gone back to them and allowed them an opportunity to correct the situation. Well why on earth would I go back to the same doctor who gave me the bad prescription in the first place? The Yarnan prescription wasn’t even close to being correct. It turns out that my eyes have shifted dramatically. In over 50 years of wearing glasses, this is the first time that I have had an issue with an optometrist. We all make mistakes, but we should accept responsibility for our mistakes. To me the Yarnan folks just don’t seem to understand that when a person is in need of a second opinion you don’t go to the person who gave you the first opinion. I hope they feel better about having an extra $94.35 in their coffers.

Always love my visits to Yaryan Eyecare Center either in the Brookville or Connersville locations. Dr. Coats was the first doctor I ever had an eye appointment with and was extremely helpful in getting me my first pair of prescription lenses. I can now see better than I ever have, and if I ever have a problem all I have to do is go back in and they are very courteous and willing to fix the issue right away. Dr. Yaryan is also a great doctor himself as he is easy to get along with and very knowledgeable in his field. The staff at both locations are very friendly and helpful and willing to work with anyone with any issue.

I have been to both the Brookville and Connersville location, I have also had exams with both Dr. Coats and Dr. Yaryan! My experience with both Dr.’s is always wonderful. They are highly trained and confident in the work they do, they are always happy to help you with anything you need! I have not met the newest Dr. yet but I have heard very good things about her from a close friend that had a wonderful experience with her!! Not only are all the Dr.’s AMAZING, all the staff at Yaryan Eye Care Center is friendly, welcoming, and very helpful!! I would highly recommend them to anyone needing an eye exam, glasses, and/or contacts!!

Switched to Dr Coates almost as soon as he was hired. I had bounced around for a couple years after Dr. Weiner retired there In Connersville. I found Dr. Coates to be much easier to talk to than most and he wouldn’t talk over my head. I highly recommend this Brookville location. You won’t be disappointed!
