I've always had a troublesome Rx. Lots of wasted money and a drawer full of unused glasses. Dr. Kopke got my prescription right on the money the first time around! I was so pleased with the experience and knowledge of the optician Tamara that I purchased 2 pairs and brought back the family for their glasses also. What a great team of medical professionals!

The appointment person had only one job. I was informed they had 2 openings at 2pm and 3pm. First I opted for 3pm then right after that I told the girl to make it at 2pm. I remember the exact conversation we had. Yet when I showed up with my daughter there, she said its at 3pm and they'll "try" to take us sooner. I couldn't wait for more than an hour just because of her mishandling. They need to be specific when making appointments. So disappointed.

Tammy is exceptional at customer satisfaction! I have a dilemma with glasses for my grandson. He's leaving for college b4 his glasses come back. She is going to arrange shipping of his glasses to him at college!! THIS IS THE KIND OF CUSTOMER SERVICE I'M TALKING ABOUT!! If I still resided in Illinois Optica would be my permanent eyecare and glasses go to.

They are liars, cheaters, and all they care about is money from insurances. Talk about a business with no professionalism or proper eye clinic etiquette. Do not go here for exams, frames, or lens. Go elsewhere. You've been warned. Read all reviews, not just mine. Had to give 1 star to give review.

Dr Ramirez was rude and not welcoming, almost made me want to be rude to him back. The assistants were really nice and helpful so that made it better for me. I would say it was all pretty fast to be seen since I was a little late but had called ahead of time and told them I would be late.

I only give 1 start because i have to. I went in to get my son's glasses. i brought in my own prescription because he was seen by an ophthalmologist. He was seen august 5th, I called September 13th to find out about his glasses. The order was never placed. when i made the order again they called back 2 days later waiting on the prescription that they had already taken a copy of and had already lost. in my eyes this is very irresponsible! I will not be coming back again!

I received the most thorough eye exam of my life, Dr. Kopke listened to my concerns and complaints about my vision and I never before felt a doctor listened so well and addressed my concerns. She was caring and compassionate and gave me the best prescription of my life. The staff was extremely nice and friendly answering all my questions with patience and a great explanation, I never felt like they were selling me anything, but more helping me make the best choice for my needs and wants. When I picked up my glasses and put them on I was able to see in a way I never had before, I felt like a little kid putting on glasses for the first time. I had goosebumps when I put them on and I actually cried in the car, this was a life changing experience.

I've been seeing Dr. Kopke since 2008. She truly listens and asks a lot of questions to be able to diagnose correctly. The staff service is even better this past year and waiting times have been reduced so you're taken pretty much on time. I highly recommend Dr.Kopke and the Optica Eye Center in Bloomingdale.
