I recently went to Munster Eye Care for an eye infection. They accommodated my schedule the same day. All of the staff works very hard and are very thorough. I have recommended this to my friends and family. My Dad is now scheduled for cataract surgery with Dr. Nguyen. The office is quite busy, but we were taken care of in an efficient manner. They apply solid customer service attributes to all they do.

Very limited office hours not accommodating for everyday working individuals, had problems at the vision center and was sent through changes during the process of returning glasses because of an allergic reaction to the frames I spent nearly two hours demanding they give me a new pair, which they did and to their credit Corinne, the vision area manager reached out to me to discuss the issue at hand with clarifications and to ensure that I was satisfied in the end.

The wait is ridiculous! I have noticed that the staff always has the biggest over turn rate which accounts for the untrained staff on site. The managerial staff is very rude. the doctors can be there one day and gone the next causing shortage of the schedule and a lot of re-scheduling. Also, when the office manager, Anne Avena was performing an OCT test on me she smelled of strong marijuana! Horrible!

Biggest complaint is unreasonably high wait time and no apologies for it by doctor or their staff. I had to wait 1 hour 15 min to get to see the doctor when I complained the staff said "innocently" our average wait time is 45 minutes. It is not acceptable and the staff should not be greedy and overbook the doctor and feel very proud about this issue. Just like the doctor, patient's time is equally or more important.

Firts Long time wait 2 to 3 hours . My daughter's doctor is rude. They do not look for ways to treat young children. They are children and they do not know what they are going to do and they are not trained to work with young children.

This was the worst experience I have ever had with a medical provider. The receptionist was rude and condescending. When I asked for the office manager she was too busy to see me and never called me when I left a message. This place is the worst doctor's office I have ever been to. Don't trust your eyes with them!! If I could have given them less than i star I would have.

You are greeted upon entrance and the entire staff is friendly. I was here to get glasses for my 5 year old and they were very patient and had experience with children. They had a great selection to choose from. I would recommend this place to anyone needing some eye care.

This is the prime reason why I left Munster Eye Care VOLUNTARILY and is the reason why you have such a high turnover; the need to be confrontational outweighs respect. This was my professional opinion about your practice and I have the right and I have reasoning to give my review. Thank you.

I started wearing glasses just 6 years ago. I went to a local optometrist for my exam and glasses. I experienced headaches and very tired eyes. About 3 years ago I had my exam at Munster Eye Care, it was a wonderful experience. After receiving my glasses from their optical dispensery, I have never experienced headaches or tired eyes. It is a wonderful feeling to be able to wear glasses all day and forget you even have them on!! Thank you to all the wonderful staff that made this happen.

The day of my appointment I had an issue at work and was not able to get away. I called that morning and I was told that it was ok and I could reschedule. I received a bill shortly after for $50. I called and told them I would not keep my next appointment if they charged me this $50. They said they would take care of it. Then I got a bill for $100. I went in person and asked them to rectify the situation and was told they would not remove this fee. I asked if it was worth $100 to loose a patient and his family and they didn't care. So I paid the bill and cancelled any future appointment for myself and family. It's been a year since I had this experience and they continue to sent me emails and text messages to make an appointment. Yes, I've opted out.

A family member made an appointment here without my knowledge on my behalf by mistake. They never called to confirm it with me and sent me to collections for the $50 cancellation fee they said they wouldn’t charge. I spoke to the clinical manager who said I was yelling at her when I didn’t even raise my voice and was trying to ask questions. I can’t believe the unprofessionalism she displayed. If the manager can freely act so flippant than that sets tone for the entire office. I will be telling everyone I know in Munster about this experience.

Probably four stars for the doctor but negative stars for the inept, condescending and unprofessional scheduling staff.

Dr. Nguyen is amazing. My dad was having some issues after my mom recently passed. They took him in immediately. Dr. Nguyen not only gave him a thorough exam, but he sent him immediately to the ER and even called the hospital to arrange which physicians would see him. Never in all my years have I ever seen a physician be so conscientious and thoughtful about a patient. Most would have just told him to go to the ER. Dr. Nguyen is in a league of his own. So glad dad has him as an eye care provider!

I visited Munster Eye Care several weeks ago and the ladies who checked me were very friendly and greeted me with a big smile. Some of the best customer service I have received in a long time. I went to Munster for a vision exam and I hadn’t had an exam in over 3 years. The staff was knew their stuff! They helped me pick out glasses and offered me a good discount because I was a new patient, I would definitely recommend others to this office. I saw Dr. Nguyen who answered my questions about cataracts because this runs in my family and I was worried I have them already. They provided me information about what cataracts are and how they would affect my vision

Don’t come here, the wait is terrible. I wasn't seen for over 2 1/2 hours from my scheduled appointment to see a doctor. Very poor communication from staff when asked when we would be seen. Tell your insurance you want to change eye doctors.

I visited Munster Eye with my little boy, he was sent home from school for a vision exam and was having trouble seeing the board. The ladies at the office were so nice to us and were very good with my little one who cried in the exam room. They had lots of patience with us and were very understanding. I would recommend this office to other people. The eyeglass department was really nice too, I ended up purchasing a pair of sunglasses with a really good first time buyer discount!

Munster Eye Clinic has been a part of my family for many years. God bless my parents, they used to see Dr. Binh. I had a daughter that was born with muscle issues. I see Dr. Binh and Dr. Kossis. They are very compassionate people. Not arrogant at all. I had an issue with a pair of glasses and I spoke with the clinic manager and the administrator and they resolved the issue without any hesitation. They actually came onto the floor to find out what they could assist us with. All of the staff has been so kind each time we go for her visits.
