Was given the run around for a few days, my glasses were lost, was lied to several times and their story about my glasses kept changing. Very unprofessional and poor customer service. They have no care for the customer and even hang up the phone on you. Don't count on having your glasses on the date they specify, you'll be lied and given the run around.

I was beginning my search for a new vision center option after 3 years of dealing with my very poor vision. It was very important to me to find a center with good comprehensive testing. After serching through many options, I was convinced I didn’t need to go any further down my call list. Moses Eye Care Center in Merrillville was IT , . From my very first phone contact, I had sensed a real concern for my own individual eye health. Every staff member has been so welcoming, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. Yesterday I had an appointment at the Merrillville office. I have been there before and never had a problem. But when I got there it started off on the wrong foot. I was there for a yearly exam. But that is not notes said on my chart. It said I was there for photos and some kind of test I never heard of. And if that was bad enough my records said I already had an exam in 2018. So my insurance wouldn't cover my exam. But to my rescue was an awesome front desk person. She took over to find out what was going on. She had to call the insurance company twice and about 50 minutes, She stayed with and finally got everything fixed. She was even able to get my exam through the insurance at no coast to me. Crystal was the BEST!!!!! she really went up and beyond for me. After that, the experience with my exam by Dr. Justin was great. He took his time and made sure I understood everything. I really appreciate people like them, because some other companies would have just given up. Believe me I have dealt with a lot of insurance and people who works in the medical who once makes up their mind about a patient never wants to help them. I would recommend to my friends and family to go to Moses. Thanks again to the wonderful staff and Crystal for making me feel that I was important and not just a problem patient.

Best eye exam ever! All staff very friendly and Dr. Moses excellent. He showed much patience and thoroughly explained my eye care needs. I was especially pleased with the lady who assisted me in picking out glasses; although I tried on several pair, she was very helpful and took her time with me while picking out the right pair.

I am updating my review. I requested a letter that was needed three different times; the day I picked out my glasses, the day I picked up my daughter and husband's glasses and the day my husband picked up my glasses. I called four time to check what is going on and there was no response.The day he picked up my glasses it took forever to get help. He kept telling the front desk he is picking up my glasses and he can see the person in the back not helping or responding to their call. Prior to that my husband brought in paperwork that his employer will cover his work glasses and kept they giving issue about the paper work. I am disappointed!

They are seriously wonderful here! Was worried to try a new eye doctor and they were so friendly and had great communication! They do this awesome thing where they let you try out your contacts for a week before you go and buy a huge supply! Really appreciate that!!!
