Everyone here is so kind, patient, thorough and wonderful! Dr. Tai, Dr. Roark, Ilda, and all of the staff are just amazing! We are so glad we switched to Allisonville Eye Care Center. I have never had a team complete such a thorough evaluation of my eye health. The team was also extremely patient and kind with my son. They also have a significantly larger frame selection than other places we have used previously. We love it here!

I had an appointment with Dr. Thao that started at 2pm. I did not leave until after 5. I did have a few recommended screenings done (at an extra charge), but felt that these tests took much longer than necessary. I am far sighted, but otherwise healthy with no major medical or eye conditions. I left with my prescription for contacts in hand, but when I went to order contacts, I realized my prescription was wrong. Thankfully the contact vendor got the correct prescription. Then a couple weeks later I got a corrected prescription in the mail with no other correspondence or clarification. They also tried to use the results of the test to recommend eye supplements, which left me feeling like I paid to be marketed to. This didn’t feel like a personalized recommendation as they had shelves of supplements behind the receptionist. This is relatively minor and becoming more common in doctors offices, however it did not sit well with me. The reason for 2 stars instead of 1 is that everyone was kind and courteous. However, I will not be returning based on the length of the appointment and incorrect contact prescription.

Staff is so friendly and takes time with each patient to make sure they get a thorough exam and understands everything that they are doing. Great with kids! I went back last week for my own appointment (usually it’s just the kids). Again I am just blown away by the time the staff takes with you. I never feel rushed, they answer all my questions, and explain each test and the results. Dr Roarke went above and beyond, even getting a snack for my daughter who was getting antsy waiting for us to be done!

Learn QURAN with Qeyam

This place is terrible in the issue of payment. You come with your insurance ID and they would tell you how much is the charge, the co-payment charge. Then they say that there is an extra test yet they dont tell you there is an extra charge for it, You assume that all the tests are included in your co-payment, this issue becomes even so misleading when the customer's English is not good. At the end you end up giving a huge amount of money in addition to your health insurance. I found it very an ethical to sadly say...
