This is absolutely the WORST place I have ever worked in my entire life. The office is run by the doctors wife who throws fits when things are not her way. I left because I was tired of being followed around, having things taken away as if we were children and cameras watching our every move. I was supposed to receive my last check last Friday, couldn’t pick it up at the office, had to wait for it to be mailed which meant I didn’t get it until 5 days after payday because of the holiday. Vindictive. Good riddance.

Upon referral of a good friend who has been a patient of Dr Lattis for many years and rather disappointing experience at a previous eye dr, I can say he and his staff are AMAZING. As soon as you walk in you are greeted by nice and friendly receptionists. Paperwork was fast and easy. No wait time what so ever. Assistant was friendly, patient and attentive. Meeting Dr Lattis, he was so nice and friendly and helped explain everything going on with my daughters eyesight in a simple way that non-eye drs can understand. What really made this the best experience for ME was when he diagnosed an eye issue that I have had for over 10 years and 3 eye dr couldn't and never took the time to do and it was so simple. All because he was thorough and attentive. I cant thank him enough for that. Picking out my daughters glasses was pretty easy (she is very picky) because they have a nice selection of frames to choose from and Angelica was patient and helpful. I am beyond pleased with my experience here and will be a patient for as long as he will have me.

I've been a patient for 10+ years and couldn't imagine going anywhere else. After years of wearing gas permeable contact lenses my eyes were a mess. Dr Tallis worked for several months to fix the damage that was done and now I can wear and see out of my soft lenses just as I should. Excellent doctor and warm friendly staff. I highly recommend them!!!

Dr. Tallis is a 5 star OD!!!! He fit me in a multifocal contact lens; vision has never been better. I had been to many before and the vision was just so-so. Dr. Tallis has been the first to get it “dialed-in” with one visit. I couldn’t be happier. His staff were very professional and pleasant. I highly recommend Dr. Tallis for all of your eyecare needs.

I cannot say enough good things about the staff at American Vision. After suffering a retinal detachment in 3/18 while visiting family, I needed replacement lenses in a timely manner following convalescence. Dr. Tallis and his staff did EVERYTHING within their power to help me, including working with their out-of-state lab to convey the urgency. Their products were perfect. The staff was incredibly helpful. I live overseas and after having to return in 11/18 for a second eye surgery, AV came through for me again in turning around replacement lenses quickly. Additionally, Dr. Tallis provides the most thorough eye exams that I've ever received (and I began needing glasses at age 9). I highly recommend this business.

I have been going to Dr Tallis for over 20 years. He is an amazing doctor with a great sense of humor! He caught my wife's diabetic retinopathy on a Friday and had her into a specialist Monday! He is also fabulous with our children!

This has to be the absolute WORST place I've ever been employed. The office is run by his wife and they are impossible to work for. Their turn over rate is ridiculously high bc instead of being rewarded for your loyalty the longer you work there, you get sent home for being 2 minutes late or even for being late with a doctor's note. All of your responsibilities will be taken away and you'll be treated like crap until you quit bc they don't want to pay unemployment. I loved working there at first but as myself and another employee became seniorty employees and they hired other new people, they showed extreme favoritism to the new employee while trying to get the employees that had been there the longest to quit. She doesn't know how to run a office and it's absolutely nuts, while he is a good doctor in his field, he is inappropriate with female employees and oblivious to his wife treating the employees like crap, making unfounded accusations of stealing, talking about employees to others and making it overall a terrible work environment. Good luck to anyone who applies there. And they're a rip off. You can get the same products and better, more knowledgeable service else where.

I am new to American Vision Center and I was absolutely wowed at my experience with Dr. TALLIS. Not only was he thorough I felt like the exam was personalized for me. The entire Staff made me feel like Family. Angelica, Catrina ,Chris Ann and Steve were so sweet to work with! Thank you guys for the best experience means a lot!

My wife and I have been going to Dr Tallis the last 8 years-wonderful place-well run and Dr Tallis is absolutely excellent. Explains things clearly and it is nice to have a Vision doctor with experience and knowledge like Dr Tallis has.

The staff was friendly. The doctor asked a lot of questions that I didn’t know the answers to which made me feel dumb and uncomfortable. I really just wanted to get the exam and to be told what my prescription is. I don’t think I will be going back to this office because I haven’t studied enough about optometry.
