Brought my daughter here and they insisted her astigmatism was so bad she needed special contacts that were 3 times more expensive, we were also billed for pictures we did not authorize, just had her seen at another Dr and her condition was exaggerated and did not require special contacts,I do not trust this place do not recommend them seeing that they are motivated by greed...

The facility is willing to take your money, and deliver none usable lenses. They say you have to get used to them! As the professionals who measure your eyes and the lab who makes the lenses, one or the other should take the high road to make sure you can see better than when you arrived at their facility. I unfortunately will have to continue a conversation with them.

These guys are phenomenal. My husband and I both had a long and annoying process of finding out contacts that would work for our eyes. Through the entire time and with our complicated work schedule, they were flat out amazing. We got many samples to try and they truly went out of their way to make sure we got our money’s worth. They have offices in both Eagle and Star, so if you don’t live close to one, try the other.

After four visits and several phone calls, my wife finally got her prescription from this doctor's office. First, they refused to give it to her. Instead, they insist (read: bully) patients to come in for a follow-up appointment. When she went the second time, they gave her a prescription. However, the doctor bullied her about a $40 photo of her eye. (she paid the first visit). Went to Walmart to get the prescription filled and it was written incorrectly. Called to have it corrected. Went and picked up the supposedly correct prescription. Nope. Wrong again. Not written correctly yet again. So, we're standing in Walmart with yet another incorrect prescription. We call the office and the staffer was completely rude on the phone. She said she wouldn't interrupt the contact specialist because she was with a patient. "I am a patient," my wife replied. She was adamant. From Dr. Schwers to the staff, this is an unprofessional place to do business. AVOID them and go somewhere that actually cares, is accurate in prescription writing and doesn't try to use fear tactics to pay for their $200,000 camera.

Normally I support small business and community based businesses as opposed to franchises. But my experience with Eye 2 Eye in Eagle, Idaho is an exception, and a real disappointment. This business failed to exercise reasonable care when adjusting a pair of glass frames after sending them to their preferred facility to insert new lens. The Eye 2 Eye employee broke the frame while adjusting them and responded "oop's, my bad". A family member asked what they could do to repair the frame and they said they would call by the end of the day with a solution. Five days passed with no call, so I intervened. The lady who eventually called was less than professional and failed to offer a reasonable solution to repair the frames they had broken. At this point any confidence we may have had in this business was now gone. There are many Optometrists to select from in the Treasure Valley and many places to select frames from. In all fairness, Eye 2 Eye seems to do a great job with examinations but I cannot recommend this business for eyewear, fittings, adjustments or repairs. I rate this business a POOR and a marginal 1 on a scale of 5.

My family and I having been patients of Dr. Schweres for over 15 years. He is an excelent eye doctor who genuinely cares about his patients and is very good in his field. He takes time to listen and answers all questions. My youngest daughter, who is now in her late 20's, moved to Colorado, yet still comes back for her annual exams with Dr. Schweres. She refuses to see anyone else. We highly recommend Dr. Schweres, his assistants and his staff.

Dr. Hall is an amazing Ophthalmologist and always takes the time to listen and figure out the best solution. Dr. Hall and the office staff were friendly and professional during the visit. But when I got the bill, they had billed me for a medical visit instead of a vision exam. When I called about the bill, Megan and Pam were not interested in my concerns. Instead, they tried to defend their billing errors and justify billing patients for services they did not request. When I mentioned I was going to find a new eye doctor, they said, "That's fine." If you choose to visit Eye 2 Eye, make sure you bring medical billing codes with you so they don't mess it up.
