Excellent service, high tech, know what they’re talking about, and simply take care of their patients. From receptionist to Dr. they are very pleasant. Was fitted for contacts and they provided me several different samples to see which brand I would prefer. Never had that before.

When I called to set up an appointment, they asked whether I had insurance, and I told them I had AETNA vision insurance. When I arrived for the appointment, the woman working at the front desk seemed not to understand how insurance works and had to go ask someone else for help. I was then told that they only accept Medical, not vision, insurance. She told me I could pay with cash, despite having full vision benefits. I was a bit annoyed because I had rearranged my schedule and gone out there with the understanding that they accepted my insurance. The reason for the low rating, however, is primarily because of how rudely I was treated by the woman working the front desk. When I tried to explain my frustration, she proceeded to ignore me, looking at her computer and dismissively repeating “ok, ok.” I would not recommend going here, at least until they train their front desk on how insurance works and how to interact with clients.

Absolutely amazing!!! 20/20 vision the next day after my cataract surgeries on both eyes!!! Located at Queen's Medical Center POB 1 Add five stars for each eye 10 stars total!!! Thank you Dr. Gregory W. Schmidt and to your awesome staff for giving both of my eyes back to me! I am 54 years young and this was by far the best medical experience I have ever had in my life so far! The Queens Medical Day Surgery facility is also top notch!!! Everyone was very friendly and professional. The procedure took 10 minutes and was completely painless!!! First I must mention that Dr. Schmidt and all of his staff are extremely friendly, efficient, knowledgeable, and punctual! I have been to your office about eight times with pre-op and post-op appointments and l have always been seen on time or even a little bit early. This is extremely impressive and shows how efficient and capable you and your staff are at providing the best medical experience possible! There are always lots of patients coming and going with the feel of a very relaxed, proficient and confident ease in the air! Awesome! Note *(Please be on time for your appointments, so you don't disrupt their super harmonious patient flow!) Dr. Schmidt has a special gift of a great personality, skill as a top eye surgeon, and is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Surgery, University of Hawaii at Manoa. I feel he could also teach a class to the next generation of Doctors and current Doctors, on how to run and manage the complete work flow of a medical business practice! I was and still am extremely grateful for the attention to detail as Dr. Schmidt and his assistant took my eye measurements several times. He told me this is to ensure that he implanted the proper lens for the best possible vision! My vision was perfect the very next day after both surgeries! I now have the best eyesight I have ever had! My eyes are like brand new!!!Thanks again Dr. Schmidt and staff! I am so grateful to have found you! You are all definetly the best!
