As a commercial photographer I really need to take care of my eyes. Whenever I need to see the details on my computer screen or look up at a model I always need sharp and quick focus. My only solution to always go back to Eye Care Associates of Hawaii for a regular check up.. They give me great peace of mind and the ability to know that Iʻm doing all I can to maintain my eyes in the best possible way.

I have been a patient of Eye Care Associates for well over 20 years. I saw Dr. Kuwabara until he passed. He was an excellent doctor and i was so sad when he passed. I wasn't sure if anyone could replace him! Fortunately, I've seen both Dr. Ishimoto and Arakaki and both of them are excellent!!! I know he trained them well!

Eye Care Associates has been my optometrist for more than 20 years. Dr. Dennis Kuwabara took the time to correct a faulty prescription for my internal astigmatism from my previous provider who claimed it was correct. He and the other doctors have gotten me immediate appointments with The retina Center when I developed macular holes on two occasions. The exams are always through and use leading edge technology. Now they treat my mother-in-law and she is 95. I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else.

I have been wearing contacts thanks to them for 20 years, and at age 76 still do not have to wear glasses even to read! My wife has had cataract surgery in both eyes and they were wonderful in working with Dr.Tyrie Jenkins during the procedure. I cannot express how pleased my wife & I are with all of their services and staff.
