I continue to have full confidence in the doctors and staff at Cataract & Vision Center of Hawaii. My cataract surgery was without incident. Recently I returned to have my left eye checked and Dr. Choi noticed two tears in my retina. He immediately referred me for cryotherapy and the procedure was performed the same day. I'm in recovery and able to see the vibrant colors and sights of our amazing world! Mahalo to all who care for us as we age and take on new challenges.

Friendly staff at the optical boutique but pricing is out of range. I bought accuvue oasys 6 month supply with VSP allowance of $120 and out of pocket $47 for a total of $167. My wife bought the same 6 month supply at Costco and only cost her $104. Roughly a 50% markup at this place. I would only go there for exam and definitely stay away from the boutique for contact lenses.

Most of the staff now wear name tags. Before, when they didn’t, most did not tell you their name, job title, or what they were going to do to you. Congratulations on the change. I feel less like a “cattle call” now.
