Dr. Faulkner and his team are the BEST eye surgeon in town! From the consultation to the follow up, the staff and Dr. Faulkner were amazing! I felt relaxed pre and post surgery. Their guidance resulted in a 20/15 vision for both eyes! I was originally a -8.0!! Moreover, I had gone previously to another doctor about Lasik and was told I could have it done because my Rx was too much. But, Dr. Faulkner was able get the results! Thank you so much!!

Life Changing! My eyesight has diminished ever since I was 45. I'm 56 now and I've been wearing glasses since. Readers for close-up and stronger lenses for mid to far. Basically, I couldn't function without wearing glasses for anything. Wasn't like I was blind, but most things were dull and not clear without corrective glasses. Until now!!! After hearing about Dr. Faulkner and Aloha Laser Vision through various sources, I knew this was the place for me to go for LASIK surgery. The Staff is simply amazing! From the front desk staff, the finance person Courtney, the technicians who ran me through a gauntlet of state of the art and amazing eye testing equipment, the OD 's doctors, Mau and Hono-Hono and finally Dr. Faulkner! I can't say enough good things about them and how efficient and good they made me feel through the whole process. Needless to say, it was the best thing I could have ever done for myself! I now have 20/20 vision and you can't describe how happy it makes you feel to see the beautiful world again in full HD!! To be free of glasses is like being born again! I highly recommend Aloha Laser Vision for anyone thinking of getting their vision restored. You won't regret it!

The staff and facilities are of the highest quality and although I was a little nervous about getting lasik, their professionalism and personal attention gave me peace of mind. And the results are truly amazing!!!

I had both of my eyes done at different times (within one month) as I had not realized how much the procedure was. I was so glad I did it that way because it gave me a chance to see if monovision was right for me. The procedures went ok but both eyes ended up having to be done twice. I LOVED my clear vision. Being able to read and see far into the distance was so awesome! It made me wish I had done the procedure sooner. BUT.... just a little over two years later my eyesight started to deteriorate again. I couldn't believe it. I now have to wear glasses to read and probably need to get something for distance since I find myself squinting a lot. And since the procedure is only guaranteed for two years, I'd have to pay to have my eyes re-done, which I found out would mean a different procedure than the first. I am so very, very disappointed to say the least! But I realized that I still have much better vision than I had before the procedure. I couldn't even see my hands clearly my distant vision was so bad. Not so anymore. I wish there was a way to once again fix these eyes so I wouldn't have to wear even reading glasses.

Amazing experience!! 3 days after my procedure the very minor haze cleared! And I couldn't believe MY eyes! I see better then I ever remember it's like life in HD. So many people are afraid of the procedure I was one of them, the staff at Aloha Laser make you feel so comfortable some even sing to you to ease your anxiety (worked for me)

Super professional, well trained staff, latest equipment, down to earth sharp doc. The place runs like a well tuned Swiss watch. When they're messing with your eyes..... you want the best . My only regret is not doing it years ago. Only suggestion: visual chart for medical eye drop time schedule ..... simpler to see a chart than read paragraphs. Very pleased. Would highly recommend.

Absolutely 110% satisfied and well worth the money spent on the Lasik surgery/treatment. A total of 15 minutes on the operating bed for both eyes and you'll be able to see the difference. My decision to have Lasik surgery was mainly due to the constant hassle of wearing and maintaining my prescription glasses which were becoming costly when adding up the price of progressive lenses with the transition features and you cannot just have one single pair of prescription glasses. I waited too long to get my vision corrected and should have done this in my 30's or 40's instead of at 51, but a worthwhile investment in my health-wellness and most of all convenience. Dr. Fulkner's staff is all professional and extremely courteous from the receptionist/appointment scheduling team, vision technicians, financial assistance counselors, and his co-partner optometrist Dr.'s Hanohano-Hong and Dr. Mau will make your experience at Aloha Laser Vision a pleasant and memorable one that you'll indeed tell your family and friends. Now, the only major decision to make with the money I'm saving is what brand of polarized sunglasses I will buy? Maui Jim, Ray Ban, or Oakley? How did I wait 17 years for this? Why did I wear glasses/contacts for 30 years? I must have been waiting for Dr. Faulkner. I kept saying to myself that I'll look into it, but never did. Finally, with a combination of difficult contacts during a run or yoga and then hearing their ad on the radio, I finally pressured myself and went in for a consultation. Friendly and knowledgeable staff and Dr. Faulkner made it so easy. Day of the procedure I was definitely nervous but it was so much easier than I thought. Nothing hurt, I got a fantastic nap and I woke up seeing the world without any contacts or glasses. Still deciding?? Go in for the consult. The payment plan is amazing. The doctors are fantastic. Dr. Faulkner even makes homemade cookies on LASIK day :).

The staff of doctors, techs, and support are knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. They were more than willing to work with me when I had to make special arrangements for completing the procedure on one eye at a time because of my Flexible spending plan. Dr. Faulkner did an amazing job. For someone that has had to use glasses and daily contacts since I was in elementary school, I now have 20/15 vision! My trusted optometrist, Dr. Sween, was the one who referred me to their service, and I'm glad he did. Getting LASIK from Aloha Laser Vision is one of the best decisions that I have ever made. I've NOT worn my glasses for a long time and refuse to wear contacts even though I know I should. I've lived by with what I could see. I've considered LASIK for over 10 years and was a bit weary of the procedure. Now, I regret not doing it any sooner. The staff at Aloha Laser Vision was EXCEPTIONAL!!! I'm one to give kudos to those that deserve it and these guys truly do!! Their attention to detail and thorough examination made me feel confident that I had chosen the right place. I'm from Maui and my schedule wasn't very flexible, but they worked with me. Now to the procedure. It was stress free and PAINLESS!! Yes, I said it PAINLESS. I was expecting some post op discomfort from reading and research as well as the instructions given to me by the staff, but I felt nothing!!! Better than that, I could see!!! Crisp and clear. Better than 20/20!!! I highly recommend them!! Even if you're a bit weary but are considering vision correction, make an appt. That first step is all it takes!
