I had an excellent experience with Dr. Mohney. I had cataract surgery in one eye and waiting to do the second eye. Dr. Mohney is very experienced and is very friendly and informative. I believe him to be very honest in giving recommendations. He doesn't try to sell you on Laser surgery if standard surgery is all you need. He spends a lot of time with you explaining everything and making you feel comfortable and relaxed before surgery.

Dr. Mohney is a top notch doctor. He understands the eye and all of its functions. He made me feel relaxed about having cataract surgery. He is very thorough in his examinations, test, and answering any questions. His office manage Ebony is awesome at her job. She is very personable and professional. She makes sure you understand everything that will transpire before, during, and after surgery. She leaves no questions unanswered. Thanks to Dr. Mohney my severe nearsightedness has been corrected. I went from -5.00 to 20/15 vision after cataract surgery. If I had to do it again, I wouldn’t hesitate to choose Dr. Mark Mohney and his staff.

I specifically asked if the practice accepted my insurance, and was told that they did. Afterwards they billed me $88; upon inquiry to my insurance carrier, I was told that the practice was out of network. An Asia woman conducted my refraction - she didn't understand me and I didn't understand her. Altogether a most unsatisfactory experience.
