While the doctors are competent, they only do surgery (Pneumatic retinopexy) at Florida hospital. Cost of procedure was astronomical, twice the national average. Looking for alternative but Florida retina Institute is a monopoly.

Dr is great. Staff needs training. Customer service is lacking (no acknowledgement of patients, just lots of employee talking to one another). Also, they don't know how to schedule. Everytime we schedule an appointment 3 or 4 months out, they change the time at least 2 times. This last appointment time was changed 3 times. Unacceptable. If Dr. Mavrofrides didn't have such a good reputation, We would never be back.

Great visit with Dr Kumar. Staff very friendly and they got me in the same day. Will continue to go to this office for all my care..
