Really helpful - I had to come in without an appointment for an emergency. Both that visit and my follow-up had helpful, knowledgeable staff. There are quite a lot of people coming here, so sometimes you have to wait a bit, but nothing unreasonable. I will be coming back.

We are here visiting from Hamburg Germany, my eyes were causing me much pain and everything was very blurry. Florida Eye Specialists we’re able to get me in the same day I called for an appointment. All of the nurses and assistants were so helpful answering my many questions and alleviating my anxiety. Dr. Applebaum spent much time with me and I felt he was completely thorough. I feel fully confident that I understand what’s wrong with my eyes and we will get my eye issues resolved. Finally the Rx were very expensive because we are not living in the US and don’t have US insurance right now. Dr Applebaum and his staff were so helpful finding me samples etc... when we move back here in the next 6-9 months Florida Eye Specialusts and Dr Applebaum will definitely be my Dr.

I was pleasantly surprised by not just getting my eyes Checked with the usual tests, but Dr. Lawrence James Spent a special amount of time explaining how my eyes Were different in several ways from other peoples’. I rec’d information which no other ophthalmologist or Optometrist had ever explained. Knowing these things Has relieved me of much angst about my sensitivity to Certain kinds of lights and bright sunshine. I had an ex- Ceptional experience and wonderful advice. Calling to set up an appointment for my son was easy. I printed off the new patient packet on their website and filled it out. When I got there it was quick having the paperwork already completed. The waiting area is spotless along with the rooms. The moment I walked in I was greeted with a office full of people that were happy to be there helping others. From the receptionist at the front desk to the lady who brought us back and did some tests was so kind and patient with my 4 year old son. Even the lady that dilated his eyes was awesome! The Doctor was very knowledgeable, experienced and informative. She explained as she was going along and I learned so much. This place is great and I recommend everyone coming here! Thank you Doctor Chen and staff! You guys are great!

Took my daughter to see Dr. Chen today. She is amazing. She was very good at explaining what was doing on and calming nerves about a potential problem with my child. Mr. Gio did the initial intake and was very kind and expertly put the necessary drops in my daughter's eyes. Both Dr. Chen and Mr. Gio put my daughter and I at ease. This staff and office is a keeper for my family!
