Very misleading on pricing on contacts get told $60 then get told no charge with type of insurance go for pick up and it’s a totally different price. I would like to know what’s going on. Simon eye in Middletown gives you all the details. The dr here is very nice but the rest of the staff could use some help or maybe more people training, always passing the blame on the next person just own it and keep it moving.

Loved the positive attitude and environment. Always explained what they were doing which eliminates worrying. The only thing is they did not call and tell me when the glasses arrived.

I had called around looking for an eye doctor. I needed new glasses. Everyone was polite and helpful. I arrived a bit early and they moved me right in to see the doctor. The whole process took no more than 15 minutes. They took my insurance, gave me options for glasses. Although I did not make a decision right away. I would recommend this eye doctor in Middletown.

The Doctor who examined my eyes was good however everyone else was pushy and wanted to give me what they wanted to give me not what I wanted. Somehow I walked out of there with bifocals that I didn't like and all I wanted was a simple eye exam to tell me the status of what my eyes are. The over-the-counter readers that I have are fine. They must make money on how many glasses they can sell in a day. Looking to get a refund on the glasses. I will not be returning there.

Was just seen here for swelling and stye due to an eye injury. Everyone was great. It took some time to be seen, but I needed an ophthalmologist and was happy they could get me in. The MA and receptionist were awesome and very friendly, and had my prescription called in before I left the office. Would definitely return.

Worst experience ever while trying to get a pair of glasses made at this location. It all began nicely at the front desk with the 2 ladies help lookup my insurance but then was switched to a gentleman to look at glasses and it went downhill from there. First - the setup is weird. The glasses are under lock and key; so someone hovers near you; giving you no privacy (while you are making your choices). Second - i don't remember the gentleman's name but this guy needs to learn to trust what other people are trying to convey. There are times when others might be right. So know your facts before speaking with a customer. Third - Common courtesy that I have experienced at other opticians was lacking, where they get the customer to sit down to go over options; prices etc. I felt like he did not need my business. I am a fool to have tried to shop for a better price. I shall stick to Simon Eye who are on top of their game for a reason. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!
