This is an awesome and the BEST place to go for my eyes. The staff and doctor's are very friendly and the whole building and surrounding area is very clean and fancy looking. I also am so glad they take my health insurance,because I had originally thought this place would be of the "high end "type of specialists. It is a little bit of a ways to reach for me,but it's worth it .

I've been a patient of Dr. Tyson, prior to his opening of Eye Associates. We go waaaaay back! He diagnosed my dry eye syndrome. He understands how my autoimmune disorders affect my eyes/vision. He is the BEST ophthalmologist ever! Through the years, I've recommended him to others. Recently, after leaving the state for two years, and returning, Dr. Tyson was the first physician I visited. While living in Las Vegas, it was difficult to find a caring, knowledgeable opthalmologist, like Dr. Tyson. My only regret is that I wish I'd waited and had vision corrective surgery with Dr.Tyson.

Had multivision lenses installed after removal of cataracts by Dr Tyson. Very pleased with results and annual check ups. This is a practice that is very easy to deal with. All employees are pleasant.

My girl is still in pain.. and I have to deal with this daily. Who want's pain everyday? And this is the moment you would expect their best service but everytime we go for a visit we get 5 mins and most of it is the doctor reading notes.. no tests just a light and magnifying glass. Maybe our insurance isn't good enough or maybe we aren't making enough noise to get a serious look. Be careful. The risk of permanent pain is probably not worth the procedure. I, along with another doctor, believe the lense is the problem, and we can't even get a serious conversation about it.

I've been with SJ Eye Associates and Dr. Tyson for nearly 30 years now. Dr. Tyson performed radial keratotomy surgery (with phenomenal results) on my eyes when I was a young rookie cop who didn't want to chance losing his glasses during a critical incident where eyesight is paramount. I'm still with his practice (SJ Eye Associates & SurgiCenter) and I see Dr. Williams there. She is extremely thorough and professional and takes her time explaining her findings and recommendations. The bottom line is that whenever you speak to anyone about SJ Eye Associates, their answer is always the same - "they're the best". When choosing an eye doctor, look no further in South Jersey. There's no need to travel any further than one of their convenient locations to receive the very best care available anywhere.

Quickly resolved issue - After scheduling a routine eye appointment in advance, I was left waiting for over an hour past my appointment time with no explanation from the desk staff - not wanting to spend over 2 hours at the office waiting, I decided to cancel feeling this was unreasonable patient treatment. However after being contacted directly in response to my review explaining the situation, the office quickly researched why this abnormal waiting time occurred to resolve the issue. They immediately offered to schedule me at my convenience and had me in and out under an hour. All of the medical staff are wonderful here. I really appreciated Carly who managed the situation for me in a very professional and kind manner.
