I've called to make sure my insurance was accepted. Initially answering the phone the woman that answered sounds irritated and i was placed on hold for 3 minutes. The woman them answered the phone answeredmy question and placed me on another hold. After, she began to ask for my insurance information in the middle of me telling her the information. I was placed on yet another hold. This time for 5 mins. I hung up the phone. I'll go somewhere else.

Lady who answers the phone is uncaring and doesn't help at all. I wanted to take my kids there as new patients and needed after school hours. She rudely said end of May or June. Not even offering a suggestion on how scheduling an appt could help both of us. If you need the clientele then act like it. I could of taken my kids maybe an hour or two before school ended but not once did she even try to help. She just quickly hung up the phone.

I absolutely love Dr. Nyquist she is the best! She is very attentive and cares about the welfare of her patients, not just their eyes but the overall wellbeing which means a lot to me. Makes me appreciate and know that a doctor cares genuinely about their patients. The staff are super nice and they know my name as soon as I walk in the door, which I love the personal attention I get when I come. Everyone is very pleasant and considerate. The office is always clean and I love that they decorate for the holiday of the season! The only thing I would like to see different is the waiting time to be seen. Sometimes I can wait 30 minutes before being taken back to the room or to another waiting area! Overall I would recommend this eye doctor for all your eye care needs!!!!!

I just had an appointment today with Dr. Nyquist and I had a really great experience. She is patient, a great listener, very professional, and took the time to ask about my concerns and explain everything thoroughly to me without making me feel rushed at all. I had an 8:30 AM appointment and was promptly taken back at that time. I highly recommend Dr. Nyquist for anyone in need of eye care. --John Gallo

I have never had such thorough eye exams anywhere and I've been to a few in the area. Staff is very efficient at moving patients through. I had eye surgery at one point and it went flawlessly. The attending nurse told me the Doctor is a stickler on prep and that's who you want operating on you! Can't say enough good things.

Fraud alert! - Two members of our family have made appointments for "routine eye exams" with this "in-network" provider. On both occasions, the office pulled a post-exam switcheroo and billed our MEDICAL insurance instead of vision. These claims, of course, were denied and forwarded to us for balance billing of nearly $200: much higher than the $10 copay that we should have paid with our vision insurance. It is apparent that Center for Eyecare is advertising that they provide in-network "routine eye exams" with various vision insurance plans such as ours, only to pull a "switcheroo" after care is provided to try to get even more money out of ones medical insurance. When declined, they go after the patient for the full balance.

I was given an 1130 appointment that was scheduled for a month later, I arrived a little before to fill out paperwork and the waiting room was completely full. The wait to see the nurse was an hour, plus prep for my exam and waiting for the Dr... 2hrs later, my appointment was finished. As a first impression on a new patient, I was disappointed and considering not returning. Properly scheduling appointments for patients is a big part of running a practice, knowing the amount of time each patient requires is crucial to provide efficient care and this was not demonstrated in my experience.
