I just had an unbelievably unprofessional experience here. The man who helps with frames, was having trouble communicating so after several attempts at trying to re-word my inquiry I asked to speak with someone else. The situation escalated further resulting in him refusing to give me my damaged frames back! The doctor eventually came out, removed the frames from his hand and gave thd back to me. This is not an isolated event, other uncomfortable exchanges have occured. Please be aware of the potential of an adverse experience.

When I walked into Bonds Eye Care Center I was greeted with friendly faces, which were happy to assist me with a redness issue and evaluation of prescription needs. I could tell immediately I was dealing with professionals and in the right place, after I checked in I was assisted in browsing a large gallery of glasses and advised of the latest fashions in eyewear, as well as ones well suited for my profession, I picked my Favorite and Jeff picked his, I walked away in the end with by far the most quality eye care from a medical perspective as well as a consultative perspective in respect to choosing the correct lenses and frames for comfort, design and usage. I would highly recommend Dr. Bonds and her staff they are top notch and very informative from care of glasses as well as prescribing the appropriate eye drop for the redness that was affecting my eyes I am happy to say the irritation and redness is gone, oh and seeing so much clearer now as my prescription was adjusted as well. The doctor was very professional. Everything else was like buying a used car. I'm waiting for my eyes to dilate and I'm getting the hard sell. He keeps writing things on a paper, which I can't read because my eyes are starting to dilate. I'm reminded a half dozen times that "price doesn't matter"...and the other line is "we need to get to a yes." I won't go back.

I truly love the Doctor at Bonds eye care, she is patient, and thorough. Recently I had an encounter with Dr. Bonds, we weren't even at her office, as we were talking, she noticed that my eye glasses were tilted a bit, I explained to her that one of my nose pads fell off. She said in order for me to get the most out of my glasses I needed them to fit perfectly on my face. She then asked me if I had time to go to her office ( we were out in the community when we had this exchange, this happened on Memorial day) so she could put a new nose pad on them. I couldn't believe she was willing to go in on her day off to help me. I jumped at the opportunity to have them fixed, and went to her office. She put new nose pads on them, cleaned them, adjusted them on my face, and gave me a small complementary bottle of eye glass cleaner. I was so overwhelmed by her kindness and willingness to help me. I really do love the staff at this place.

Although the optometrists are good and professional, the staff is not. They bully and shame patients who opt to purchase their glasses/contacts elsewhere. They are unprofessional and we will not be returning. I'm shocked that the physicians either are not aware, or are okay with such behavior. I am not confusing your practice for another. Apparently the other physician has moved on. Your husband, selling the eyewear may want to do the same.

What can I say? I wish all interactions were as pleasant and professional as when we go to Dr. Bonds. My wife and I have entrusted the vision care of our family to Dr. Bonds since we moved to the area over a decade ago. You will not find a more compassionate, knowledgeable, and professional healthcare provider. She and her staff have always been thorough and helpful, including getting me in quickly for an appointment when my eyes were bothering me last year. She is patient and always willing to answer questions. Our kids even enjoy going in for eye exams. If it sounds like I'm gushing, it's only because I am. I really like this place and these people. Highest recommendation!

I've been seeing Dr. Sara Bonds for around 2 years + now, if it wasn't for her I would of never knew that I have glaucoma, she is very compassionate. She put me in the right direction to see a glucoma specialist. I started out with my eye pressure being 29 in bo5h eyes, I had laser treatment to open up my channels, so happy to say my pressure is finally down to 16 in both eyes. Whenever I needed to see Dr. Bonds, she was (is)always available with in very reasonable time. Her staff is amazing. Jeff has been the only tech that has ever fitted me for my eyeglasses properly. Jen, Amanda and Heather are great young ladies and I always feel welcomed and they just are all like family to me. The sweetest girls you ever what to meet.
