OMG this is the most amazing medical office I have ever been to! Customer service is out of this world fantastic, Dr. Ryan Reid is not only an amazing eye doctor, he's incredibly knowledgeable in other areas of medicine. I have many medical issues and it can get pretty complicated being my doctor but Dr. Reid had it covered, no explanations, calls to my other doctors for info, no googling, he just knew exactly how to treat me. (even better, he talks to you like you're his mental equal. If you ask questions he's more than happy to explain things but he does not talk down to you like a lot of doctors tend to do) I am so thrilled with the service I received here. Not only is everyone smart, funny and extremely nice, but they really do treat you like family, they know you. I had been there once...almost a year ago!...prior to today's appointment, and right when I walk in Linda says Ah! You cut your hair! They asked about my husband, how my medical treatments were going, they remembered all the random details that I said to them nearly a year ago. They are all such amazing people. 10 out of 10... highly recommend this office...one of THE BEST doctors that I have ever been to with THE BEST office associates!

I could write a novel about all the great things I experienced with Meadows Family Eye Care -- beginning with my first phone call. I had a very painful problem with one eye and found out my eye dr had retired recently so I called Meadows on the recommendation of a friend who had gone there recently for the first time. Not only did they welcome me with warmth and compassion, but the receptionist called me back later that same day to let me know of a cancellation that would allow me to come in a day earlier. The office is delightful, open, and friendly. Dr. Reid was so thorough and caring --- I was very impressed. He figured out what was wrong with my eye, had a plan and walked me through it so I could decide if it was what I wanted to do. Everyone I encountered was friendly, kind, and appeared to care deeply about each person. I loved that.

We went to a pediatric office and found out he needed glasses and was at a pretty high prescription for a 6 year old. Two stars because there seemed to be a lot of frames to chose from and the Dr. and staff were very friendly. I also noticed that if you left a review you got a free lens care kit, that may be why there are so many reviews for an eye doctor.

I have tried a couple of the local eye care facilities from time to time but wanted an eye care center that used current technology as I hated the is this better or this better method. I have been extremely happy with the care and interest that this practice extends to it's patients. From phone calls to visits everyone is friendly, helpful and I felt it was one of the best eye exams I've ever had. On my first visit it was discovered I had a tear in my retina and it had started to detach. Dr. Reid was kind, informative and directed me to a specialist who was amazing himself. The entire experience was as good as it could have been. I have changed my rating from 5 stars to 4. There is one thing to be wary of. The entire insurance/billing process. They make mistakes and assumptions. When I pointed out mistakes they fixed it but just watch and nip it in the bud.

They had a good selection of glasses, it was nice that they had some that worked well for my smaller face. They were also incredibly patient as I swapped between two frames for around 30 minutes before deciding. When I asked for tweaks for my glasses after I received them, they were happy to help and made sure it fit well. Theres a full 2 year warranty against damage, which is nice! I'll definitely come back in the future if I need any other optic needs.

The exam was thorough and had all of the newest technology, they don't use the "air puff" test for glaucoma which is great in my book... I hate that! Both times I've gone in it's been quick and Dr. Reid is very personable and my prescription has been perfect every time! He is super friendly and makes you feel right at home. They have a good selection of frames and I get my frames back in a week which is great. It's a small, cozy office and it's easy to make an appointment fairly short notice given my schedule is not consistent. THE BEST!!! My husband and I both needed eye exams and we are newish to Castle Rock, so I went to my “go to” Costco and Target optometry reveiw page and was kind of disappointed in what I read. So I did the next best thing... got on my CR Facebook Group and asked who everyone uses for their eye doctor. Meadows Family Eye Care was mentioned so many times that I HAD to call and make our appointments. I am SO GLAD I did. Dr. Reid and his staff are friendly, patient, and extremely accommodating. Their selection of eyewear is great and I LOVE that everything you need can be done in one visit. And while I do LOVE Costco and Target... I will just be going there for my grocery shopping now. Their office works with Mile High Eye Care for LASIK/PRK, and both offices were an absolute pleasure to work with. I ended up getting LASIK, and am so happy I did. I went from 2400/20 vision to 15/20 (better than perfect) in less than 24 hours. Both places are very patient and informative. If you're considering this office for any reason, I reccomend them. If you're looking for LASIK, I HIGHLY reccomend them!! Best decision of my life.

Yesterday, I had my 2nd visit to the Meadows Family Eye Clinic and I'm still amazed at how thorough and competent they are! I'm a diabetic, so I have to be very careful about my eyes. At previous places, my eyes would need to be dilated and I'd come out having to wear sunglasses - even in the house - because my pupils would be so large. At the Meadows Family Eye Care, there's no need for this because they use the latest technology that doesn't require it! Both Doctors show you the images they capture of your eyes and let you know if there is anything to worry about. They also explain things in common terms, rather than in scientific ones, to help you understand what's going on. By the way, I also want to mention that their Staff is extremely courteous and always a pleasure to deal with! My wife and I are thrilled with the service we get and have no plans to change Doctors. Kudos to everyone working in this practice!

I originally tried to schedule a last minute appointment the first time and they were booked, but they took my number down in case any cancellations occurred. She ended up calling the few people who hadn’t confirmed their appointments for the day and one of them cancelled. She called me within the hour and got me seen. Other places I called that morning never offered the same treatment.

My eye exam was great. Dr. Reid was friendly and explained everything, and showed me the images of my eyes pointing out where any abnormalities were or what others would look like. I needed glasses and the woman whom helped me find frames looked at my insurance benifits and helped me choose glasses and sunglasses that look great and fit my lifestyle. She made sure the frames I selected would be something I am fully comfortable in and steered me away from ones with nose pads as I am prone to placing my sunglasses on my head. Overall this was a great experience. I highly recommend if you are looking for an eye doctor in the area to come here.
