Making a patient wait 50 minutes in the waiting room, past his appointment time is bad business. If you are running that behind a courtesy call would be nice. There is no excuse for bad business.

Paul OBRIEN

Unable to make an appointment since my referral was lost. Went somewhere else and super happy I didn't trust the care of my vision to them!

Carolyn Arvenitis

Friendly and engaging, Dr. Tubbs had a reasonable patient manner during my visit. He was eager to invoke surgical options, something I am hesitant to do. A post-visit review of my medical records indicated that he recorded the time frame for my medical changes as "a few months" rather than the three and a half years in which it actually occurred. A call to the office was unable to correct my records as they refused to fix the error. As of 10/30/17, these issues have been resolved. Thanks for following up.

BEWARE. This has been a painful experience from the start. This experience has been a nightmare since it began 5 or so years ago. We've never had so much trouble scheduling appointments, receiving reminders, or getting quality service... but this place was much below our expectations. The reception desk always without fail called the wrong person to remind us about our appointments, and we would regularly get alerts for other patients. We had to come in 3-4 times after a visit because the prescription we received was wrong. And to top it off, after marriage we couldn't get my wife's name changed in the system so insurance was a pain since they thought she wasn't covered. We have since switched to Pearle Vision in Parker.

Have been a patient of Dr. Craven and Dr. Proutty for years. Great doctors and great staff.

I was recommended to have cataract surgery several weeks ago. I made an appointment for the eye measurements and to speak to the surgery coordinator. I was extremely annoyed that the surgery coordinator was not prepared to talk to me about out of pocket expenses. She did not pull an insurance eligibility on me so we could discuss what the insurance covers and what my expected costs would be so I could make an intelligent decision about upgraded lenses. She stated I could call the insurance myself if I wanted. Furthermore she was not able to discuss facility costs or anesthesia costs. What a waste of time.

Let's start with the wait time... Checked in 15 min early as they requested. I did not get seen for an hour, other people came in after me went back before me! This office thinks that your time is not precious and I feel that is extremely rude... Then when I did finally get to go back they gave a a vision test dialed me and then sent me back out to the waiting room as the camera room was "busy"... I waited another 25 minutes..just overall that set my mood bad with this place they do not seem to care very much about you. Dr was not very nice or appreciative of my business. Staff was in professional and giggly while people are waiting staff was chatting with one another about food and relationships... Facility was nice and they did have clean bathrooms and offered tea and water, but it dosent lessen the blow of the wait time any. I woukd not recomend coming here... You should visit Dr shuklas office instead her was great and no issues on wait time.

After the hell, lies, and manipulation InSight Vision Group put me through and false billing, they are now taking me to a collection agency. They are the ones who should be sued on multiple counts. I'm filing a complaint with the state about these people.

I am new in Parker, and needed just an annual eye exam, plus help for dry eyes. First visit early December easy to schedule, very pleasant reception and medical staff, short wait time to be seen. Great help for dry eyes. Follow up visit end of December all as above other than Doctor wait time 45 minutes. No apology, no explanation. Not good.

I had a great experience here. They were friendly and professional with quick service on a Saturday morning. I would definitely recommend them.

I had cataract surgery six months ago. I am having complications of which I was told I need to be seen immediately. Your website says the office is open at 6:45 am on Fridays, and the answering service says they are open at 7 am. It is 7:30, and the recording still says “out of office hours”. Furthermore, my appointment wait times have been 1.5-2 hrs long every time, regardless of whether it is 8 am or 2:30 pm, and regardless of doctor. I found Dr Prouty arrogant and demeaning. I switched to Dr Carlson and have been very pleased with her manner—friendly and respectful.

Was taking my elderly mother for eye care and waiting room times for Dr. Johnson exceeded one hour so I changed to a different Doctor in their practice. Terrible experiences with customer service...staff promised to send prescriptions twice and never did. Each time I called I was told it would be done that day. I had to physically go in to get the prescription. Found a new eye doctor that I am very happy with and would not recommend going here.

I have been a patient of Dr. Teresa Carlson for over 15 years and the quality of care has been consistently outstanding. As a Professional Pilot, my career is literally dependent upon my eyesight and Dr. Carlson has always been most highly committed to helping me find the optimal eye care. There are special challenges to our work environment as it is exceptionally dry, there are very long days, and all vision is critical be it near/far or daytime vs. night. Finding the right contacts has often been a challenge for me and Dr. Carlson has been immensely patient in working through multiple lenses and objectively discussing all options. She is the consummate professional and never "rushed" the appointment as so many medical professionals tend to do. Furthermore, I appreciate that she is very highly experienced and credentialed and fully explains the pros and cons of alternate treatments and procedures, allowing me to be confident that I am getting the unbiased, top notch recommendations. I cannot imagine going anywhere else for my eye care and would recommend her most highly for Professional Eyecare.

Jill Schmieding

Nothing but great things to be said for Dr. Carlson and Dr. Stark Johnson. I just had the lasik procedure done through Insight and so glad I did. Professional from the start. Also, they were the only doctors that mentioned Fish Oil for dry eyes. I started the fish oil they recommended and after a couple weeks from surgery my eyes are wonderful. I sometimes forget about my drops. I look forward to continuing to see Insight for all my vision care.

Scheduling is a mess, wait times are extremely long, doctors consultations are short. I saw multiple doctors for a simple procedure. My final visit was with Dr. Robert E Prouty. He is your stereotypical arrogant doctor and could care less about his patients. My simple procedure was never completed and I will probably get a large bill for my visits. I was pleasantly surprised that after my review above I was contacted by insights CEO with an apology and a solution to my problem.

Matthew Armetta

Terrible experience as a new patient. They tried to get me to pay $120 for a contact "fitting" that they claimed was different than the contact exam which my insurance pays for. I've never heard of this. When I questioned it they went on about how this isn't "some mall place" - it's a high-end vision place which I guess gives them permission to try and charge you for services your insurance should pay for. Ridiculous. I'll go elsewhere.

I thought that I was going to have good things to say about this facility, its doctors, and its staff. Over time, I have come to find out, directly, that this tightly-knit organization is calculating, deviate, manipulative, and deceptive. They will falsify your records to benefit their ends. They will disregard health problems with your eyes to benefit their ends. They will disregard your telling them that you have pain in your eye and experience significant redness and irritation when you wear a contact lens in the eye to benefit their ends. They will disregard problems that you are having with your vision to benefit their ends. They will minimize new problems that have come up with your eyes to benefit their ends. They will disregard how these problems are effecting your work and daily life. They will talk you into expensive, over-priced procedures that aren't covered by insurance to benefit their ends. They will manipulate you into appointments with expensive tests when all you wanted was a 5-minute consult that they said would be free. They will do this, and they will bill the insurance company, which is often not covered, and the bill will end up coming back to you. They knowingly do this. And they organize it all the way through to the office staff and the doctor's assistants. I overheard their staff talking about bringing me in under false pretenses, running a series of tests, and falsifying my records to make it seem like nothing was wrong with my eyes to cover themselves. They did this at my time, expense, and loss of trust with absolutely no conscience about it. And then they tried to keep me at their practice to keep the situation and falsification of records under control. Please be very careful in dealing with these people because they coordinate with each other on how they are going to manipulate patients. Listen for the subtleties in their language and how they interact. They will likely wise up and be more careful and less arrogant after this post. They think people are stupid and don't see a pattern of what's going on. I called them out on it because I eventually started recording conversations. They quickly reversed the charges to the insurance company when they found out I was recording and could call them out on what they were doing. I know, you should be able to trust an eye doctor. But they do these sorts of things because they are afraid of lawsuits or being involved in lawsuits instead of having an honest conversation. I came to find out that they are remarkably selfish people. They have a big overhead at their facilities, and they will do anything to be profitable. Watch them reply to this post and try and weasel their way out of what they did. I feel SO violated. I'm so angry and have been put through so much.
