The whole staff was friendly, honest, & respectful. Even though they see thousands of patients, they addressed my individual concerns and recognized that this was a stressful event for me. Prior to Icon, I went to another clinic for surgery and had a terrible experience: This other clinic had a gorgeous office, but unprofessional staff. The surgeon had poor bedside manner and I ended up fainting from stress just as they were about to cut the flap on my eye. When I went to Icon, I was so worried I'd faint again, but they were so kind...I got 2 Valiums and a purple sock monkey to hold during surgery! Props to Dr Whitt, who answered all my questions honestly, didn't pressure me at all and gave me confidence, the nurses & front desk staff who were all so friendly, and Dr. Campbell who quickly & competently guided me through surgery...before I could even blink an eye! Bonus: it was WAY cheaper than the other clinic would have been!

When I made the appointment online I was called immediately to schedule a consult. The lady was really nice and helpful. I scheduled my consult for 11am on sat June 1st, was told to come in 1030am for paperwork etc. When I got to the location there was nobody there. Doors were locked. I called the number and the chick apologized and said that she didn't know why they weren't answering and the hours were from 8am-12pm so they should be here. So they lost a client as I was excited for this service for myself. Have a good one!

I had a great experience before they moved offices. Recently, I scheduled an exam, they told me it would need to be a medical eye exam. I said OK. What they failed to mention was that although they accepted my vision insurance, they do not accept my medical insurance. So, they performed multiple additional exams without letting me know to expect a fat bill in the mail a few weeks later. I did not see the same doctor I'd been seeing in the past, although I specifically requested it. The new office is much further away. I asked the receptionist if my eyes would be dilated so I could plan to have a ride. She said a definitive yes, so, I took an Uber from work. They decided not to dilate my eyes, so I wasted $40 more dollars on an Uber I didn't even need. DONE with this place.

I went to Icon Lasik to have my vision repaired and have been in the office a few times since for check ups and I can honestly say that every time I’ve been in the office I have been treated wonderfully. The entire staff is kind and treats you warmly. Their communication skills are great as well; you never wait around wondering what’s next? They do a great job of explaining everything that is going on and what is to come. I can also speak to the thoughtfulness and professionalism of Stacee. She did a great job explaining my options as well as keeping tabs on my procedure. I definitely recommend Icon Lasik.

Holy horrible experience Batman! Disaster!!!! Third - yes, third!!!! Times a charm??? Inexcusable! And, of course no mention of reimbursement for the crazy amount of gas, tolls, prescriptions, and time off this has required. My husband is patient and full of grace. Me not so much! Use caution!

Terrible communication. Had no idea Drucker moved to south Colorado blvd until we tried making an appointment last week. Finally figure out they moved so I tried contacting their new location on Friday and no answer (left a message, no response). Wait the weekend and call Monday minutes after they opened and the girl informed me that she was updating their computers so she couldn't schedule me for an appointment but took my information down and said she would call back. She never called back. Now today, Tuesday, we called again and no response. I don't want to have to find a new eye doctor but they've left us with no choice.

My husband Larry Klock and I both had Lasik done at Icon Lasik several years ago and still have 20/20 vision and love how easy and painless the whole procedure was. The staff and Dr.'s at Icon Lasik are great and go the extra mile to insure a good outcome on your eye surgery and do follow-ups to make sure your are doing well after the surgery. We would recommend Icon Lasik to everyone. Larry is a fire fighter and I am a Registered Nurse and our new vision is wonderful and makes are jobs so much easier.

I was not impressed with the end results. They did a mono vision correction on me and I never could see correctly. I expected more for what I paid because I still need glasses to read or drive my car at night. They did do one correction procedure on me after the initial procedure, and when I went back in to discuss an alternative when I still could not see properly, one of the doctors was fairly negative and dismissive towards me. Plus that office on Mexico Avenue has the feel of a mill or assembly line.

I had mono vision almost 4 years ago. Today I had a eye exam with a new doctor new state, he was very impressed and could not find any flaws. He said he'd never seen such a great job done by lasiks. He even does lasiks, to me this spoke volumns about ICON eyecare.

Prior to making my appointment for the free evaluation, I specifically asked the customer service/scheduler about medication prior to surgery. I have extreme anxiety with people touching my face and dentists have attempted using Valium to no avail (it has no effect on me, and I've woken up in two surgeries prior). I inquired about the ability for the surgeon to prescribe a stronger sedative and was assured that they would be able to get me whatever I needed to be comfortable. I proceeded to schedule and attend the evaluation (which was almost an hour from my home), cope with the normal anxiety I get with eye exams, only to be told they would not prescribe me anything other than the Valium they provide prior to surgery. I was told my PCP may be able to give me something stronger if I felt I needed it. Long story short, my PCP didn't feel comfortable writing a script for a sedative for a procedure she was taking no part in and felt that this should be routine for an eye surgeon who had completed 25,000+ surgeries and he should be fully capable of providing the medication. Dr. Campbell's comments, relayed through another doctor, was that no one should need anything other than Valium and he didn't think I should take anything if it wasn't going to work for me. So, to Dr. Greeley's credit, he suggested that this wouldn't be a safe environment for me with my high level of anxiety and didn't recommend I went through with surgery. I'm disappointed that an eye surgeon with so much experience didn't feel he could cope with someone with high anxiety (I can't imagine I'm the only one in 25000 patients with this) and I've cancelled my surgery in hopes of finding someone who is more understanding and focused on the needs of the patient. They've not only lost my business, but my husband and sister-in-law who were both considering ICON based on the experience I had.

ICON did a wonderful job on my lasik. After consults with three different providers I picked ICON. They were not only the most affordable they were the most objective and had the most positive attitude toward my desired to have mono vision correction. I just love it. I am 59 years old and I have had no problems at all recovering from the surgery or adjusting to mono vision. Since I wanted to drastically reduce the need for glasses i knew the only way to do that was with mono vision. While I know mono vision is not for everyone it is worth a try. If you don't like it just have a correction and switch to standard vision. Mono vision has so far worked great for me.

As I'm writing this review, I had my surgery done 7 weeks ago (3/20/15) so I felt enough time had passed to give an honest and informed opinion. I went into the Lone Tree office scheduled for PRK surgery but was told after a few tests, that my eyes were actually a great candidate for LASIK (being out of my contacts for a week had changed the mapping on my eyes). I gladly made the switch (and was not charged anything extra even though LASIK is more expensive) and everything after that was as smooth as possible. I remember most of the procedure but I was given pain medication immediately before so some details do escape me. I was sat down before I went in and was told instructions for eye care after the procedure. I was understandably a little nervous at this point so they thankfully also gave me a one page printout detailing everything I should do. I finally went into the procedure room (I believe I had been there a little over an hour at this point) and was greeted very warmly by everybody in the room. The doctor described what I would be feeling more than what would actually be happening which is probably better for everyone. Throughout everything, I wasn't as nervous as I thought I would be and was just focusing on getting through this. They put some drops in my eyes and I then laid down for the actual surgery. They then put a clamp on my eye that prevents it from closing so you really don't have to worry about doing anything to mess up the procedure. I was told to stare at a red dot and although I've heard different descriptions, (some just say slight discomfort) I would describe it as staring directly at the sun too long. It's not unbearable and it's over so quickly that I wouldn't be worried about it. It just surprised that it hurt a little since I heard it's painless but again, it's minor and nothing to be scared of. Like anybody, I thought the prices were too good to be true but I would go back to ICON without question if I could do it all over again. They were friendly, professional, and always available to answer my questions. I would recommend this place to anybody and don’t have a negative thing to say about my experience with them. By the way, I was better than 20/20 3 weeks after my appointment which is still unbelievable!

A bunch of my friends have had lasik performed by ICONLASIK and they all have had nothing but great things to say. I went with one of them while he got lasik just to keep him company and he didn't seem to be in any pain, he said his eye's itched after but that was it. It seemed effortless on his part. I felt compelled to write a review because I felt the Doctors and staff at ICON were exceptionally nice and accomodating. They have a great selection of sunglasses too, I went back later and picked up some sweet Oakleys and Kathy the really nice lady there even remembered me!

I had a less than great experience today at David Drucker's office. I got there 20 minutes prior to my appointment time of 3PM to complete my paperwork, which was done 10 minutes ahead of my appointment time. My appointment time came and went, so I decided to do some work. At 320PM, an assistant came out to get me and I asked her for 30 more seconds to complete an email I was working on. She went on to the next person in the waiting room. A new assistant was called and came to get me. The assistant did most of the exam. Dialated my eyes and verified my new prescription and recorded everything in the computer as he did his work. I went to the waiting room to continue the process of having my eyes fully dialate. I was shuffled to another room, only to see the doctor for 2 minutes. He checked for glaucoma, handed me my prescription and said "see you next year." Never asked if I had any questions. I will not be going back to see this doctor again.

Dr. Drucker has been my all-star ophthalmologist for over 30 years. I followed him to ICON from another practice a few years ago and am extremely impressed with his new office and staff. They are friendly & super helpful, and have the latest & greatest equipment. There's even an awesome coffee machine (free) in the waiting area.☕ My only gripe is the driveway entrance of the building which is a very tight, busy space making it diffult to maneuver into & out of the the garage. But don't let that stop you --choose ICON ✔.

I made an appointment and went on the wrong day, the office staff got me in and did everything they could to make me feel welcome!!! The staff, greeted me with a smile and when I discovered MY MISTAKE, they told me no to worry about it and they would work me in. I waited 5 min., now that is what I call service! In this day and age of terrible customer service, the ladies at the front desk at ICON Eye care - David Drucker MD PC office located in downtown Denver are WONDERFUL. Ended up getting Lasik - No more glasses - LIFE IS GREAT!!!

If you've ever thought about getting Lasik - DO IT! One of the better decisions I've ever made and so glad I picked ICON. The whole experience from appointments prior to surgery to follow up appointments after surgery was FANTASTIC. I was very skeptical at first given how affordable the pricing was at ICON. There must be something hidden, right? Or you get what you pay for? (which is concerning given its your vision) If you're having any of those same thoughts, TRUST ME, you won't be disappointed. The whole staff is very friendly, knowledgable, patient, and not pushy about anything. ICON has figured out how to make a great experience at an affordable price.

I had a terrible experience at this office in the the last 5.5 months. I went in for an exam after having severe vision problems and itchy and painful eyes. Dr. Solomon said that I had dry eyes and put in plugs. My condition improved short-term, but became worse, so I went back for a 2nd visit. The plugs had fallen out, so smaller plugs were put in. I said that my eyelids were very itchy, red, and puffy, and was told that was just from allergies which I have never had before. I still had major problems with my vision and my eyes were secreting thick mucus, so I went in again and met with Dr. Sturdy. He said it was dry eyes, but I complained so he finally flipped my eyelids up and discovered that I had Giant Papillary Conjunctivitis. I was annoyed because the previous doctors never looked under my eyelids. He explained that I would need to wear glasses and use steroid drops. I told him that I didn’t own any glasses, so he said I could wear contacts, but it would take longer for the condition to improve, which I was fine with. I went back for a follow-up and Dr. Sturdy said my condition was improved and I could continue to wear my contacts if I wanted. Later, I went in for my annual exam and met with a tech who argued with me saying I had an annual exam a month before even though I had cancelled the appt. She finally did the exam and I saw Dr. Greeley who said my condition had gotten worse and lectured me about not having glasses. I told him I would get glasses, but that I couldn’t function with them, so I would need to wear contacts at work. I explained that I didn’t have any glasses or contacts left, so I asked if I could get daily lenses to try, but he said I would need to come back for an annual exam later. I said I thought that’s what the appt was for, but he said it was just a follow-up for my conjunctivitis. I was frustrated because no one in the office knew why I was there. He finally agreed it was an annual exam, so I asked about the lenses, but he told me I would need to come back for a lens fitting. I came back and met with Dr. Drucker who was abrasive right from the start. He looked under my eyelids and stated that I still had conjunctivitis and asked if I was using drops. I took out a bottle of Refresh drops from my purse and asked if that’s what he meant. He rudely stated that I needed to use the ones that were preservative free because the ones I had been using would worsen the conjunctivitis. I stated that the 3 other doctors told me to use these drops. He said, “I don’t care what they said, this is what I’m telling you!” I said I understood, but the other doctors had given me bad medical advice, and he might want to discuss that with him. He said he didn’t care what they told me. He then stated that I looked irritated and asked why, so I told him that he was rude and he became more nasty. I explained that this was my 6th appt and that no one even looked under my eyelids until my 3rd appt, so I was pretty fed up. He angrily stated that this is what he was telling me now and I told him again that he was being rude and that I would be finding a new eye doctor. He said, “I hope you do!” and walked out of the room. The tech took me to the front and I told her I still needed the trial daily lenses that he said he would give me and she said in a nasty tone, “You said you weren’t coming back. Why would we give you any trials?” I said to tell the doctor that I would be leaving a very bad review and she said, "Go right ahead!" and stormed off to talk loudly about me with some other techs. A woman working in the check-out area overhead and so did the assistant manager who asked to speak with me in private. He was apologetic and gave me sample daily lenses to try and preservative free eye drops that were not offered to me by the doctor. I was grateful, because I had not tried the daily lenses and I felt like the doctor should have tested my vision with them in before handing out a prescription and sending me out the door.

I got Lasik at ICON with no complications what so ever. What a fabulous experience! The staff, optometrists and surgeons were all fantastic. I was hesitant at first because the cost is so low - but WOW I saved a lot of money and had a great procedure. Two of my brothers and my sister-in-law all went to ICON for Lasik and had the same experience. I would recommend ICON to anyone. And now I can see just like I am wearing my glasses - amazing!!

I had the ICL (implantable collamer lens) procedure done at ICON in Lone Tree. Prior to coming into ICON, I had 5 other consultations and was given mixed results on which procedure was best for my eyes. ICON was the first consultation where I felt that the doctors gave me sincere information on what they believed was best for me and were willing to sit down with me to fully answer all of my questions (I came in with a very long list). I chose ICON because they made me feel most comfortable with the choice to get the ICL done, and even introduced me to a staff member who had gone through the procedure herself. The procedure was more painful than I expected, but Dr. Campbell was very calming and understanding throughout the surgery. I have not been as impressed with my follow-ups. I've felt they were very rushed and I haven't gotten my questions answered as fully. One week post-op I am seeing 20/20 with both eyes and am very glad that I made the choice to get the ICL!

I switched from the main office on Mexico Ave to Golden for convenience and I am just as happy there. I was worried when Dr Drucker retired but I like Dr Sturdy just as much.

Wow, what a great staff! Quick appointments, sometimes as a drop in. Doctors are friendly and unrushed. Support staff professional and courteous. Dr Litoff goes to the extreme when helping me with my cornea transplant. He always shows concern for my situation. The staff members have been absolutely wonderful. Dealing wth my insurance is challenging, but they come through. When I had been unable to find a handicap accessible restroom, they went with me to find it. This is great eye care!

Alllllllmost 5 stars. The quality of the care almost bumps it up. Put it this way, they told me I didn't qualify for lasik (what company doesn't want your non-insurance cash!?), and they even gave me a free check up once when they said they took my insurance but actually didn't (it took a minute to talk to the right person though). They're also remarkably consistent when it comes to my annual check-ups and prescriptions. That said, they're also a bit corporate, and you can tell they're trying to figure out how to be big in today's health care economy. I get it, you have to stay afloat. They're trying to integrate their various systems, but it doesn't always work, and can be a bit annoying. You sometimes have to bird dog a few things here and there, but staff tries to be helpful. Easily 5 stars once they get the systems better integrated. That said, I highly recommend from a medical standpoint.

Looks fancy with the décor, fresh coffee, and wait room, but was not impressed with the consultation and the fact that I only will see the doctor ONCE. Sounds like a chop shop to me. I now receive spam from them and it's annoying. I took my business elsewhere.

A huge waste of time. I made an appointment for Monday morning and had to take off work in order to make that appointment. I was called on Monday morning and told that the doctor who was supposed to see me wasn't going to make it in but that they would still be able to accommodate me. I let them know that I needed to be into work and would need to be done by 12pm. She told me that it wouldn't be a problem and moved my appointment back a half hour. I showed up at 10:30am to a full waiting room. I checked in and the person at the front desk didn't mention anything about a back up. About 15 minutes later, they called me to the desk to fill out my paper work and I asked how much longer it would be. He told me 40 min to an hour and asked if I would like to reschedule.... ya, no thanks. This was my first time going to Drucker Eyes and they lost my future business before I even saw a doctor. I wouldn't bother wasting your time with this one unless you have an entire day to waste waiting for an exam.

Cataract surgery with the new (FDA approved late 2016) "Symfony" multi-focal lens lets me see near, far and in between WITHOUT GLASSES ! The surgeon, doctors and entire staff are top notch. I had my eyes done at 5:30pm and drove myself to my follow up at 7am the next day with 20/15 vision. It was funny because I was actually a little bit angry the next morning I had not gone and seen them sooner. I was back on my bike on a 120 mile ride 2 weeks later with clear vision. Amazing. I am so happy that I chose Icon Lasik! I am less than a week out of surgery and couldn't be happier. Dr. Finch was very professional, personable, funny, and knowledgeable. Icon Lasik is very efficient in their whole examination and business practices. They get you in, evaluate you, and make their recommendations. Believe me, I asked a ton of questions including laser calibration, machine maintenance, etc. Dr. Finch answered every question thoroughly and confidently which made my decision to go with Icon Lasik an immediate one. I went in and then a week later I had my surgery. They rechecked my eyes the day of, and within 15 minutes I was having my procedure. Dr. Campbell and the surgical staff definitely put me at ease, and in less than 10 minutes it was all over. I could see IMMEDIATELY following the surgery. I went home and took a nap, and within a few hours my eyes felt really good. The next morning, I was able to drive MYSELF to my follow up appt and already had 20/20 vision. It will get even better over the next few weeks. I'm at day 5 and my eyes feel perfect. Definitely thrilled with the results and also the significantly lower cost than other facilities. I was told to be an excellent candidate for PRK so I had to procedure at ICON LASIK. My vision is now horrible everyday with halos, glare, starbursts, and floaters. I am no longer able to drive at night and had to quite my job. The past year I have been back in the office many times to try to get my vision back. Now to go back to try to find a solution they want to charge me $118 even though they are the ones that destroyed my vision. I wouldn't have to go back if the procedure had actually been effective. Overall I have been very disappointed with their dismissive attitude as well. I would not recommend.

Best experience of my life!!!!!! The staff was so great leading to Dr. Campbell's amazing bedside manner! Scheduling my appointment was easy and the office is very thorough in the exams they do including the day of but they manage everyone well for the busy office. The staff is all so kind and professional! I've spoken to people who paid way more for their procedures and they all thought the surgeons weren't kind and its assumed that they don't have to be because that's why you have assistants but Dr. Campbell and the ICON team have proven to be even more exceptional. I had Visian ICL (implantable contact lens) surgery done on me a little over 2 months ago. Dr. Kim and Dr. Ramsey did an amazing job; my vision was 20/20 and was back to work the very next day (I work at a desk). I've had virtually no issues since then. The procedure was essentially painless, I was in and out in a few hours. The actual procedure was 30-45 minutes for both eyes. I was not a good LASIK candidate due to my very high nearsightedness (-8.00 right eye, -8.75 left eye) and have had to deal with corrective lenses since I was 8 years old. My quality of life has absolutely improved living without contacts or glasses. I would highly recommend ICL surgery and if you have any questions, go see Dr. Kim at ICON! The doctors and staff there are awesome and very friendly!!

After all, they are about to shoot me in the eyeball with a laser beam. But, the sincerity and professionalism going into surgery assured me that I was in the right place. I have mix feelings about Icon. On one hand, I paid the $1000 for the lifetime insurance only to be told weeks later my eyes started changing back. I was also informed my eyes can only handle one more round of lasik so the insurance was not worth it. On the other hand I went from needing glasses 24/7 to only needing them to drive and read.
