My eye had light flashing and they saw me and l cut the help l needed. Great service

I have received excellent care and the staff are very friendly, but the wait is ridiculous! Getting back in the exam room and performing the diagnostics is very quick. Then you get dilated and sit in the exam room waiting on the doctor for at least 45 minutes or more. Every time at least 45 minutes! And usually there isn't an apology for the unacceptable wait. I have been going there for years, but I just can't keep going and spending over two and a half hours for a comprehensive eye exam. I hate to leave since the care is so good, but ain't nobody got time for that!

Ron Garber

I had an eye infection and this place was recommended. They got me in to see the doctor that day and I had a great experience! The staff was friendly and the doctor was very knowledgeable. He treated my severe infection with drops and even though I could've ended up with a scar and vision loss, I am back to 100%! I will continue to get my eye care here and will recommend to anyone who needs an eye doctor! Thank you Eye Center!

Alex Tessmann

Terrible customer service. Attempted to schedule an appointment, was hung up on three separate times. I was told there was multiple available appointments for the current and upcoming week only to rudely be told there wasn't any for over a month magically when I called back only minutes later. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Joyce Hubka

Dr. Robinson has been our eye doctor for 35 years and he and the Eye Center of Northern Colorado have always given us excellent care at very reasonable prices. Eye surgeries and eye exams for our elderly parents were exceptional. They are the BEST!

Heather Houseman

Always very welcoming and thorough

I have had a good experience with the doctors ONLY here this center, They are very good but the rest of the staff is not good at all. My wife who has a Medicare supplement AARP plan and a co pay of $50 per specialist visit was charged $90 at check out after a cataract exam. My wife objected to the charge and the person checking her out from the exam said "it's more because of the cataract(s)" ...what?? You mean if she had normal vision it would be $50? dah! This person at check was not supposed to charge more that the co pay on stated on her card and plan but made up this fictitious extra amount due to cataracts? We are filing a report with AARP insurance on this. Beware of ECNC!

Had lower eyelid surgery and am very pleased with the result and with the doctor. However, I had a scary side effect I was not told about in any of the discussions or paperwork (one eye gushed out blood when I leaned over to pick something up, over two weeks after my surgery.) Then, when I called the emergency number they gave me, the answering service disconnected me after I told them I was having an emergency. When I called back, there was no answer after about 20 rings. Tried again and no answer.

The new LASIK facility at Centerra is top notch! Much quieter than the Fort Collins office, the staff are very friendly and professional. I was able to get a consult within couple days of my initial call, and within less than a month I was seeing perfectly! The staff were great about preparing me for my recovery experience. Dr. Smith is very attentive and professional, he even called to check on me the evening after my procedure. I can't speak highly enough of my experience. My mom also has had LASIK done by the Eye Center, along with many family friends.

John Lyons

I'm not sure why I come back as I receive the same poor service each time. This time deals with what should be a simple order for an eyeglass lens replacement. It's been three weeks and we've not heard a thing. It's a beautiful store with lots of inventory; however, the staff does not have their act together.

Laura Browarny

As a first time patient, I was mistakenly scheduled at this location rather than the newer facility on Precision Drive. I was bummed at first because I had heard that the new location was all state of the art. This location looks a little worn out, but the service that I got from the receptionist to the doctor was fantastic. Some of the most personable medical staff that I have ever encountered. The technician was very helpful and thorough and made me feel at ease and the doctor gave me a lot of options and things to try out before I committed to spending money on new lenses. I would absolutely recommend this location and Dr. Marske if you are looking for a new eye doctor.

Marielle Leffler

I had Lasik on 9/2/15. The whole experience was so easy and my results are fantastic. The staff is really great. I couldn't be happier about my decision to have Lasik at Eye Center of Northern Colorado!

Al Anderson

I had my eyes done there 25 years ago and just now need to have some adjustment hopefully to make them perfect again it truley was a life changer

David Janssen

Busy is one thing but not answering the phone calls is inexcusable . I have called morning and afternoons and "always" get the voice mail prompt to leave my dob, phone #. The phone calls are returned when it is convenient for the Eye Center not for their clients.

I'm somewhat near sighted with vision deteriorating a bit lately so I wanted an eval for monovision. I was very impressed with the friendliness and professionalism of the staff there (Meghan, Peggy, Chris, Jessica) who carefully walked through the options and used the results of the vision analysis systems. I went ahead with the procedure, and had a flawless experience with Dr. Olsen, my wife watching on the video monitor. My right eye vision is now a perfect 20/15 and I couldn't be more pleased with the result, or the Eye Center staff and Drs. I recommend them highly for this sort of procedure.

Mark Russell

The exam went great but the customer service is terrible. They dilated my eyes and then I couldn't see very well. After the exam I wanted to pick up my prescription. The person asked me to fill out paperwork and I couldn't see anything. I told her I couldn't see and she said "fill this out"... AGAIN! Horrible! After reading the bad reviews about their customer service and seeing they're going to use those bad reviews as learning opportunities, it makes me wonder. Either they have really bad turn over, or they are extremely incompetent. Not going back.

Melanee Mortensen

No one handles pediatric patients like Dr. Arnold. We have been seeing him for over 12 years. We changed insurance one time and had to see some other pediatric ophthalmologists and they hardly have 2-3 minutes to each child. The treatment at Eye Center of Northern Colorado was awesome -- did a wonderful and thorough job. Our appreciation for Dr. Arnold grew a hundred fold after such horrible "normal" treatment. We paid out of pocket before going back to the other facility. Good eye care when there is a serious concern is priceless -- and our family has stayed very faithfully with Eye Center. Yes, there is waiting sometimes, but it has been no different than any other ophthalmologists' office!! Would not trust the eyes of our family to any other office.

Kathy Blair

I can not say enough good things about Dr. Arnold. He was the only MD to put all the pieces together with my son's problems and he is now weaning from his meds. My son started being unable to tolerate light and was always wearing sunglasses and in the nurses office. His eyes are now healed and he is a fun loving boy again. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for being so wonderful at what you do

Unacceptably bad customer relations, but the Doctors are very good! Avoid buying glasses there.

If I could give zero stars I would. Absolutely horrible customer service, their billing department is a complete joke. No one is willing, or able to do their jobs. They didn't call me when insurance denied a claim, not a single phone call and instead sent my account to collections. Also didn't receive any statements in the mail or anything along those lines. Completely ridiculous, all I'm asking is to send a claim to insurance and they are refusing. Doctor also wasn't very welcoming and seemed somewhat disrespectful. SAVE YOURSELF THE HASSLE!!!!

Lauren Gutierrez

More times than not the staff is really rude. I typically have a really good experience with the eye doctors and medical staff but usually the people working at the front are rude, and I have never had a good experience with medical records or trying to order contacts.

Jim Stiehl

Excellent care at the Greeley facility. Competent and friendly staff, especially front desk staff (Theresa) who answered all questions with clear knowledge and a smile.

I had a cataract removed and the entire process was very smooth. The folks there are courteous and professional.

The best eye care option in the state of Colorado! They really care about their patients and their community. I would recommend anyone having issues with their vision call Eye Center of Northern Colorado. You won't be disappointed!

Emily Kantor

Not impressed by the experience I had at the eye center. The front desk ladies were very friendly. However, it stops after that. They dilated my eyes (with my permission) but failed to tell me my vision would be terrible afterward. It was so bad I could not drive home and had to have my husband come pick me up and offered no solutions when I said I literally cannot see they just kept saying, yeah we dilated your eyes. Overall I left feeling not great about my experience based on the interactions (or lack thereof) that I had with the staff there. They left me feeling confused about next steps and the technicians weren't very friendly. I will choose to take my business elsewhere.

Dale Horkey

I have had a great experience with Eye Center of Northern Colorado! I needed cataract surgery and laser correction for severe astigmatism. I had my second eye surgery a week ago and I am amazed at the quality and clarity of my vision! When I made the decision to begin the course of treatment, my entire appointment schedule was laid out in advance of all exams, procedures, and follow-ups. Appointment and waiting times have been reasonable. My physician, Dr. Smith, has been frank, informative, and very professional. All of the caregivers have been friendly and supportive. At first, I was apprehensive about making the decision to allow anyone to do a medical procedure on my eyes and the expense to correct my astigmatism, but I can clearly see my decision was the correct one. Don't take my word for it. My exceptional vision says it all. Look Ma! No glasses! FOLLOWUP: It has been a little over six months and my vision is exceptional. Clear, sharp, bright. I am very pleased. I still wince a little when I think of the amount of money I had to shell out ($3200) for the procedures, but I got what I paid for: quality vision.

Alex Mahoney

Some of the worst reception staff I have felt with. Waited on hold for over 30 mins being treanferred from department to department be eventually told I either had to stop everything and come today for an emergency appointment or not get an appointment at all. Finally after 2 hours got an appointment. Showed up for the appointment and waited for an hour past my appointment time to be told that they over booked the doctor. I didn't even get to see the doctor or get called back.

Take a look at how many dissatisfied people are on here! Stay Clear! Had major eye surgery done. I was not happy with it, but they sure as heck charged me the full price. Now that I paid the full bill, they are still calling me saying I owe more. I will probably be taking them to court just so they can get a taste of their own medicine.

Jim Wakeman

Dr. Reistad reconstructed my left lower eyelid which had been badly damaged by skin cancer. Not only is the eyelid repaired perfectly, the entire process was accomplished comfortably. I found Amanda and all his staff to be friendly and caring! The post surgical process has been excellent. Thank you for all you do! Gratefully, Jim

The staff and doctors took great care of me! I had LASIK and they were happy to work with my ophthalmologist/optometrist whom I've been seeing for years. I was worried beforehand, but by the time I got to the surgery room I was sure I was in good hands.

Brandon Weight

The people in the billing department are fools. Their processes are outdated. Because of my work schedule, I was unable to take my new insurance card up to their office. I tried repeatedly to fax and email this information in, and each time I thought it was resolved until I received a bill for the full amount again. Now, I took the day off work to personally bring in my information and they will not take it because it's past 90 days. I feel utterly ripped off and fed up with this company. Please - save yourselves the trouble and DO NOT come here.

Ken Platt

Apparently the surgeons are fine; however, like many other rating, it is the staff that need to learn what the concept of customer service entails. This office appears to be a mill - churning through patients as they bully them. I was being seen for a cataract consult; however, their was no consulting - only a rush to surgery. Good luck if you wish to speak to your surgeon about what surgical choices you will make. I spent two hours being tested by a surly and grumpy staff member. I was then told that I must make a choice ON THE SPOT about a non-reversible surgical choice. I wanted to have the evening to make my choice and then speak to my surgeon, Dr. Meyers about the consequences and advise regarding which type of lens he would insert into my cornea. I was not allowed to see the doctor to discuss my options and was bullied by the first technician and then by her supervisor who kept telling me that I had to make my choice right then so that she could make the appropriate calculations BEFORE I would be allowed to see my surgeon, who I have never met. Both staff members kept repeating my options and would not allow me any time or physician advice in making a snap decision. Instead of being respectful and sensitive to their patients concerns, they both were aggressive trying to make me adhere to their rulers and procedures. Clearly, you must adhere to their rules based upon getting as many patients as possible in as brief a time possible. They were angry and could not understand why I demanded 24 hours to make my decision between the surgeries offered or that I wanted my surgeon’s advise. I left knowing that I was not an individual but simple another paycheck for them. I most blame Dr. Meyers as he is the office manager and should have known better. I am seeing another surgeon who cares about respecting and listens to his patients.

Ms Tirrie

Dr. Korotkin surgically removed my eye floaters, and I can see to drive! I can't say enough good things about Dr. Fisher who did my cataract surgery, and about Dr. Korotkin who performed two vitrectomies to remove my severe vitreous opacities (aka eye floaters.) Dr. K is a brilliant surgeon, and he's a nice guy, too. My aftercare appointment had been scheduled for Christmas Day, and I was sure it was a mistake and someone was going to call me and cancel it, but amazingly Dr. Korotkin kept the post-surgical appointment even though it was on December 25th! I hereby nominate him for most caring surgeon in the world. My eye surgery was 100% successful, I can see perfectly now, and I would have paid any price to have my vision back. If you go see Dr. Korotkin, you better be nice to him because he deserves great patients. Please don't hold it against him if some of the office ladies are grumpy or slow, it's not his fault, he's the surgeon you want and once your floaters are gone you will be jumping for joy.

Thad Gunderson

Dr. Randall Smith and the staff at the Eye Center of Northern Colorado did an excellent job with my Lasik and follow up checks. My vision went from terrible to 20/20 under their care. I recommend them to everyone.

Kimber Art

A little big, but that's the beauty also. Everything you need for eye health, and eye fashion is right here!!

Jenna Zink

My Husband had Bladeless Custom Lasik in March 2014 and is very satisfied. Dr. Foster was wonderful and all the other staff we came into contact with were very professional and personable. He opted to pay for the lifetime enhancements since but we didn't feel pushed at all. The procedure and post-care were explained in detail and the receptionist was able to explain the process while I watched my Husbands procedure. His vision was 20/20 and 20/15 the next morning at his post-op visit. Very happy with his service.

Eden Bekkela

This place is the best! Dr. Chaney is an amazing doctor and always takes the time to listen to any concerns I have and answers all of my questions. All of the staff here is very friendly and knowledgeable. The optical department has a huge selection of frames and sunglasses and my contact lenses always come in super fast. I get great service here from start to finish and wouldn't consider going anywhere else!

Connie Prather

Where do I begin to tell how wonderful Doctor Kent Crews is? He restored my eyesight when there was none because of another "doctor's" incompetence. There was a slight chance of black and white shadows "success" after another surgery. With Doctor Crews' amazing talent, patience, caring, and resolve, I can see with COLOR!!!! This man is the most capable, kind, generous, compassionate, determined and knowledgeable Ophthalmologist in the whole world!!! Eye Center of Northern Colorado is most fortunate to have Doctor Crews practicing with them and SO AM I !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wish I could give more than five stars to this astounding Physician !! Any patient lucky enough to be treated by Doctor Kent Crews will be in the best care !!! THANK YOU DOCTOR CREWS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The whole staff at Eye Center of Northern Colorado is geared toward the patient's comfort and care. What a wonderful place to be cared for in any eye related concern.....

Sarah Rodriguez

I have been going to the Eye Center for many years. All the doctors there are great. I recently had LASIK done by Dr. Robinson. It was the best thing I ever did. It was quick and easy and now I can SEE!! I would recommend this place to everyone and I pretty much already have!!

Kari Wolf

Having Lasik done at Eye Center of Northern Colorado was a great decision. The staff is caring, friendly, professional and knowledgeable. They were extremely easy to work with and very accommodating of my schedule. Sitting up after the procedure was done and being able to see across the room was amazing! If you are even thinking about having eye laser surgery done, talk to Eye Center of Northern Colorado.

Scott Turner

They always get your contacts there fast and simple

Ryan S

I have been a satisfied patient of the Eye Center's for many years. In addition an annual optometry checkups, I recently decided to have LASIK. The LASIK team was thorough and very customer service oriented - it is clear that they pride themselves on this. They have the latest technology and a very experienced group of physicians and staff. I am 12 days out from my LASIK procedure and have 20/15 vision and zero discomfort. I should have done this years ago. I highly recommend the Eye Center!

Al Smith

The worst experience ever. Just DO NOT go here. Took 6 weeks to get a very simple pair of glasses, nothing complicated. This is not the first time I've had challenges coming here. IT WILL BE THE LAST. I could share more details, but why? After many years of coming here - NEVER AGAIN. Just do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

Meann Smith

Very busy, very long wait every time I went there for an appointment. After the third visit I never went back again. When I went to get new glasses it was like I was buying a used car from a horrible used car salesman trying to sell me everything extra he possibly could. I ended up getting the glasses (with what I needed) and returned them after a couple days because I was not happy with them and have never been back again. I have found a much smaller clinic with very great patient care and great customer service now.

Jean Brodahl

Brad Walbeck

Do not trust these people. Just learned they have been charging me for 'exams' I neither need or want. Ive been going to Eye Center of Northern Colorado for some years now. It was always pricey and now I know why. They say the doctors are in charge of pricing. This sums up to the staff is trained to be useless and the doctors, who are trusted with your vision, are defrauding patients. Stay away.

Excellent care during & after eye surgery!!

Clayton Bargsten

I will only write about objective aspects of my experiences at the office. It is very likely that you will have to wait between 2 and 3 weeks to get an appointment, especially at the Fort Collins location. I have gone here for several years. Each year they screwed up my prescription on the first appointment. To get the follow up appointment - another 2-3 weeks waiting. After going to the appointment they told me they could only change the glasses prescription at the appointment, so schedule yet another appointment. At each of my appointments I have had to wait almost 2 hours past the scheduled time to actually be seen. I would have stopped going but this is the only place that takes my insurance. If you have the money, take it somewhere else.

Meranda Hinzman

Very thorough eye exam and personable staff. Great selection of glasses.

David Tawney

I had surgery two times to repair a droopy eyelid and it never got fixed. My eyes water and itch more now than they ever did. Bummer

Tegan Wolfe

It has been 5 years since I got PRK surgery at the Eye Center and I am practically blind. Getting eye-surgery here was the biggest regret of my life. I wish they would have told me I was a bad candidate for surgery before ruining my eyes forever. The months following my surgery I let them know my eyesight wasn't clear yet they kept telling me it was better than 20/20. Now I can't even leave the house without glasses and I am only 28 years old! Besides that, I have a severe dry eye problem that I didn't have previously as a result of the surgery, that has created a lot of pain and requires a lot of expensive eye drops for the rest of my life. For how much I paid for this surgery they should be completely ashamed.

Had good luck with surgery but the billing department ripped me off. Told I had to prepay 1600 for a special lens before surgery. Ended up I didn't need the lens. Doctor and assistant told me I would be refunded the full amount and gave me the direct number to the Billing Department in case there were problems. After a month I called and was told they would check into it. 5 days later they call and say they will send a check for less than 1200 due to a test that is paid for by my insurance.

Michelle Wigton

After standing in line for 15 mins I watched two receptionist change shifts before helping me. The long wait followed by a shift change made me feel unimportant. Also, I was told to fill out new patient forms and bring to the appt. I handed it to the receptionist, but she gave me an ipad to fill out ALL THE SAME info. After redoing this work, I waited in line AGAIN to hand back the ipad. The technician was very short to us like he was having a bad day. Maybe even annoyed that he had to deal with a baby who was scared. The doc was unable to perform an eye exam because my 12 month old was scared by the lenses and equipment. VSP couldn’t be billed because the eye exam wasn't performed. I'd need to pay out of pocket or use my medical insurance to cover this visit. I should have been originally scheduled with a doc that was more skilled at handling children - not waste my time with someone who can't, charge me, then schedule ANOTHER appt with the doc we should've seen in the first place.

Peggy Shepherd

My doctor listened to my vision concerns! The optical department had a great selection. Very pleased with the staff that took care of me!!!

Tess Feral

Made an appointment three weeks ago to see a doctor at the Eye Center. Arrived today to find that the appointment was never entered into their system. Gave the receptionist the appointment card that they themselves filled out and gave me when I made the appointment. After seeing the card and consulting several other people, the receptionist assured me that I would see the doctor today at the appointed time. Went back to the exam room and waited 55 minutes. The tech came in a time or two to assure me the doctor would be in, the last time saying I would be next. Twenty minutes later, no doctor. I could hear him going into other rooms and starting with other patients. I walked out. Saw the tech on the way out who said the doctor had gone in the wrong room and was seeing another patient. After an hour, I wasn't going to wait any more, especially when they couldn't tell me how long it would be. I rescheduled the appointment for a month from now which I am not happy about. On his schedule, I could see another person scheduled for ten minutes after me. Having been a patient at the Eye Center for over thirty years, I can see customer service going downhill. It's too bad. They cram a lot of patients into their doctors' schedules, not allowing enough time for each patient to get their needs met. I don't know why they would do this other than for the money. I even switched this year from my old doctor there to a new one because at last year's appointment, I was rushed through so fast after waiting.

Dr. Crews was fantastic. Having experienced other retina specialists I can honestly say there was no comparison. He answered all the questions, was patient and gentle and the awful injections I had experienced with other doctors always left me feeling traumatized, dreading the next injection. He treated my BRVO with laser surgery and I was able to go into that with total confidence in his abilities to heal. Now almost four months since laser treatment I'm thrilled to know that it was such a success I may never again need another injection! I would HIGHLY recommend him.

I had PRK done by Dr. Olsen and his staff at the Centerra office. I felt that he and his staff were extremely professional. They went above and beyond to make sure my needs were met and that I was comfortable with everything. They explained every step of the procedure to me and my wife and made sure we understood everything. If we had any questions they did not hesitate to answer them. They made sure both my wife and I were comfortable with our hotel, getting my prescriptions and the directions as to what eye drops I needed and how many I needed everyday. They were extremely polite and very comfortable to talk with. Each and every single individual staff member there go above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. I would highly recommend going to the LASIK and Cosmetic Center of Northern Co for any procedure. My surgery date was Dec. 3rd. 2015. I am very pleased with the end results. I had no pain throughout this whole journey and would most definitely do it again.

HBK970 .

Chet E. Reistad, M.D. performed an oil built up eye cyst for me all in under 30 minutes, he also removed a skin tag located on my upper left of my face. Oh, did I mention, free coffee?!? Ya, I had two cups. ;) That was the best part, thank you Dr. Reistad.

Angelo DeBona

Today I had my consultation. Every employee was friendly, and personable. They were polite and offered me snacks or drinks and did everything they could to make sure I enjoyed my visit and that if I had any questions, that they could answer them. My consultant Karen is one of the sweetest people I've ever met and worked hard to make sure that I could schedule my surgery as soon as possible. Chris checked my eyes and worked with me regarding any questions about the procedure and sent me home with a variety of drops to keep my eyes healthy until the procedure. I'm very excited to begin these new steps and happy to have such positive and friendly people there with me!

Bobbert Gregory

Really disappointed in their customer service.

Dr. Arnold has been our saving grace with our son. We were referred to him by our eye doctor in Cheyenne, WY when we could get to the bottom of why my son's eye wasn't healing from what we thought were scratches. He has taken such great care of our son. He is so patient and makes the young patients and their parents feel as ease. So thankful for him.

The doctors/surgeons at Eye Center NOCO are rock stars. I have been with them from the beginning (18 + years?). Not only are they highly skilled, but have great character and hearts. I will give you a few examples. First understand that I have severe vision loss for a lot of reasons, including post radial keratotomy done 30 years ago. In the early years the cuts on my eyes would get infected, and he would order antibiotics no matter where I was in the country for work. Dr. Mayor is his replacement I believe, and is was of the sharpest doctors I have ever met. Dr. Arnold treated my 7 yr old granddaughter, and discovered her problem. Dr. Arnold's character can be described by an action he took early on when he first started there...He was on call on a Saturday, I thought I was having a retinal detachment, so he asked my husband to drive me in to the office at 10 pm to make sure it was okay. Dr. Chaney and her assistant Amy have worked tirelessly to keep my vision as long as possible, including when I was frustrated and crying in her chair. Check with them for schleral lenses for post RK for dryness and giving your vision back to you when you think all is lost. Dr. Korotkin saw me, and his first visit discovered a severe problem. Dr. Apple is an example of a newer excellent doctor treating my glaucoma with excellent results. These guys work as a team. Public service message: The one area I would recommend asking about when you go to get cataracts post radial keratotomy is if the particular doctor you are seeing has done this surgery before, as it is quite complicated. You can google "cataracts post RK surgery" to see why, as I am not a doctor. Thank you Eye Center.

After having a few appointments, which I was able to get in in a timely fashion, I was so very disappointed with the staff and their customer service. I felt as though I was a just a number while at my appointment and am now experiencing difficulty trying to contact the office just to get a copy of my prescription. I am now getting my glasses and contacts at a different place while waiting for my current prescription to expire. Will NOT be going back and will be finding a smaller and more helpful eye place that will be able to answer my questions and concerns. I find it completely ridiculous that after calling three times I still was not able to talk to anyone but a recording.

I came in for my initial examination and I had such a bad interaction with the receptionist that I will never go back. I don't need to be treated with veiled irritation when the issue is not of my doing. I had received a lot of lot great referrals but this one interaction put me off - that it is not worth it to even try again.

Dr. Mayer did a fantastic job with my cataract surgery. I'm seeing better than I've seen in years. It does feel a bit rushed and they don't have a lot of time to answer questions, so, make sure you come prepared with any and all questions you may have beforehand. Also, ask for someone you can call if you have further questions after you leave. They're always happy to try and help you any way they can, you just have to be clear about what you're asking.

Jack Hegdal

I recently took my mother in for cataract surgery at the new Eye Center location on Precision Drive in Fort Collins. What an amazing experience from start to finish. They provided the best care possible and should be recognized as the place to go for anything eye related. Dr. Randall Smith is the best. His professionalism and caring is unmatched. And a shout out to Curtis who helped us with her last post op. He was friendly and nice and really cared for her in a professional way. Thanks to everyone else behind the scenes for a job well done.

Awful - front desk person doesn't know ANYTHING - says everything she does outloud - not helpful at all. Eyeglass sales person was abusive, told me all my choices looked awful bullies you into her choice and says it is the only one that works - always there over an hour waiting - have to get eyeglass and contact prescriptions in different places already crowded after you have waited an hour - they contract with my insurance but make you pay up front until they get paid - all employees except one had a terrible attitude, lazy, couldn't be bothered to do their job. I will drive to Boulder for glasses before I will go back to them. Terrible \

We have had such a great experience here for myself and my son! Dr. Arnold is amazing. Probably the best pediatric eye doctor in Northern Colorado. He really cares and did a great job always make my son feel comfortable. Dr. Olson did my Lasik and was fantastic! Him and his nurses were always responsive to my questions or concerns. I truly felt my had was held very well through the whole process and follow up.

Laurel Bond

I had the most amazing Lasik experience with Dr. Gary Foster and the technicians and staff at the Eye Laser Center! I was very nervous about having the surgery done, having read so many reviews about Lasik in general online, but the minute I stepped into the office I was put at ease by the receptionists and techs who clearly knew what they were doing and pursued excellence at every turn. I instantly knew they were not a Lasik factory, just after your money, as they weren't worried about honestly telling someone if he/she was not a good candidate for the surgery, and they didn't push me at all. Dr. Foster was confident, but not overly so or cocky, so that you felt that you were in very good hands from the beginning. Everyone took the time to answer my endless questions, and Dr. Foster even took the time to run a second read on one of my eyes the day of the surgery even though I had been through the pre-op earlier. My eyes are better than 20/20, and I couldn't be happier! The gift of sight is amazing! Thank you so much to all at the Eye Laser Center at Centerra and especially to Dr. Foster! I am recommending them to everyone I know!

I was sent here from the ER and was told they would take my insurance. An on call doctor did come after hours to help me. The doctors here were good. My complaint comes from the billing and administration of this place. Every visit I had they took my insurance and never mentioned I wasn't covered. Long story short I am stuck with the bills which are very high for a few visits.

I recently had an eye appointment at the Fort Collins office and was left pretty dissatisfied. While the front desk staff were fairly friendly and I got into my appointment almost right on schedule, I was pretty upset about the meds that were prescribed to me. I had issues with my eyes being red, inflamed and in pain. Dr. Mayer explained what was going on with my eyes and said he was prescribing me two eye drops: one steroid drop and one allergy drop. He then asked the nurse to give me a coupon for one of the drops. When I saw that the coupon said I could "pay as little as $125" for the drops, I told both the doctor and nurse I was concerned about how expensive the drops would be. If that's what I "could" pay WITH a coupon, what do they cost normally?! I explained that my insurance wouldn't cover my meds and I'd be paying out of pocket. I asked if there were any other more affordable options. The doctor didn't answer this question and just kept discussing the brand name meds he was recommending. After he left, the nurse commented that if I had any troubles at my pharmacy with the cost, that I could call them and they may be able to request an authorization to cover the payment. I get to Kaiser and they tell me it's going to be over $500 for both eye drops!! No way! We ended up BOTH having to call the Eye Center to ask them to approve a generic med. They finally did and I ended up spending "only" $100 for both drops! I asked the pharmacist if the meds were going to be as effective and she assured me they would be (said the only difference is the generic ones separate more easily so you have to shake them first). She says they've seen before that the Eye Center will frequently prescribe the expensive meds when the generic will do just fine. Now I'm not sure what sort of agreement these docs have with the drug companies and what their incentives are for selling these expensive ones (and pretending to be generous by giving me a coupon!) but he obviously cared more about making a profit than me being able to afford the treatment she needs. Don't plan on going back here in the future. I hope these eye drops help for now so I can work on finding a new eye doctor.

Brett Newton

I had developed cataracts at an early age and Dr. Smith and his staff at the Precision location were able to take care of me. I was very apprehensive about having eye surgery, but the staff (all of them) were excellent at reassuring me, and the actual procedure was absolutely pain and stress free. 100% Would recommend them and will be seeing them for all my eyecare needs from now on.

I've gotten prescription sunglasses there before, and had a great experience so decided I'd switch over and get my eye exams there as well. Everything started out fine, until I got into the exam room. My technician Brittany was pretty cold, mechanical and kind of unfriendly. Then she told me the doctor would be in in a few minutes. 40 minutes later I sat in the exam room with dialated pupils, with no explanation what was taking so long. I had to leave the exam room, track someone down and ask them to find my doctor to see what the holdup was. A couple minutes later Dr. Santelli showed up and provided no explanation of why she took so long to see me, but did provide a quick "sorry for the wait" as if I sat there for 10 minutes instead of 5. I then went to the opitcal side of things to order new lenses for my sunglasses. The woman that helped me was short and somewhat snippy to my questions. I had to ask her a few questions more than once because she forgot them. Then finally I got home and realized that my receipt showed that I was charged $100 for frames, even though I didn't order any frames. When I called back I spoke to a friendly gentleman who agreed that my invoice did in fact show that I was charged for frames. When I got the woman who orginally helped me, it was clear from when she answered that she was annoyed. When I asked her about the mistake, she shortly said that it was just a mistake on my copy of the invoice and that I wouldn't be charged for it. We'll see what happens when I go to pick the glasses up, but I won't be back after being treated so poorly, that's for sure. This is just my opinion, but it seems like they have such a high volume of people going through there, customer service suffers. If I ever get my sunglasses with the correct lenses and for the correct price, I'll be finding a new place next time.

Had Lasik done in 2012- still have good vision and Dr. Robinson seems to be very good at what he does. They do have long waits for appointments and it's a little pricey, but overall very good experience.

Tha absolute worst service I've ever had at any kind of doctors office period.

Dr. Olsen was a real pro. He personally zapped my eyes and it was a breeeeze. The next morning, while driving on the I-25 from Fort Collins to the Loveland location, I looked over to the Rocky Mountains and saw the jet stream blowing snow off of a cornice! Follow ups are always easy and if there is a generous wait, I just slug some coffee and talk to folks in the nice and clean lobby. Dr. Olsen is also an eye surgeon so LASIK and general eye concerns are easy for this guy. Everyone always says this, and so I will as well: If you have considered laser eye surgery, don't wait to do it. It's an investment in your eyes and when pitted against the normal eye care visits, eye insurance, supplies and prescriptions, then this is a total no-brainer! As an outdoorsman and athlete, it's fabulous to not have to wear something on my eyes other than my shades. Thanks guys!

Took absolute GREAT care of me! I recently had cataract surgery on my left eye and will get my right eye done very soon. Professional, courteous and I'm so very happy to be able to see clearly again! Thanks so much!

Eye Center of Northern Colorado (ECNC) provided a HORRIFIC new customer experience on 9/24/18. Billing nightmare: Tricare confirmed I had a 100% dependent reimbursement from Tricare while my husband is deployed – I called ECNC to confirm they accepted my insurance terms before scheduling. They confirmed. They later recanted that they only accept about half coverage AFTER my appointment even though I called prior to scheduling and specifically asked this question. I provided my secondary military insurance to which Becky Kincher replied on Dec 22 “Thank you. The balance of $55 remains due from you but I will courtesy bill the contact lens refit to your supplemental insurance.)” Courtesy? I never received further communication from ECNC until their collections notice on March 5 charging me $80. As for the appointment – after my entire exam with the “tech”, I waited almost 20 minutes to see the doctor and almost had to leave before completing my appointment (this does not include waiting room time) to have 8 MINUTES for her to review the tech notes, shake my hand, and ask if I had any questions. The only reason I came here is because they pre-approved that my new insurance would cover my appointment!! Imagine how much time and disappointment this has been for me or any customer who goes this “volume shop” which means they compete on price to churn and burn through patients while you get very little actual time with the doctor and ineffective customer and billing service. I am so astonished I have submitted a complaint about Eye Center of Colorado to Tricare West, Healthgrades, and even the BBB. Becky in billing emailed that she would bill my secondary insurance and collections notice 3 months later without ever emailing, calling, or mailing me again (“You have not responded to our previous letter” is incorrect. I never heard from ECNC after Dec 22 so I assumed Becky actually did her job and invoiced my MOAA insurance as promised – but then they also "pre-approved" that they took my Tricare insurance full dependent coverage). On March 27, 2019 Tricare West sent me a copy of the letter sent to ECNC confirming that I was unjustly billed: "you cannot bill a Tricare beneficiary for non-covered care unless you inform the beneficiary in advance that Tricare does not cover the care. Also, the beneficiary must waive his or her right to hold harmless by agreeing in advance in writing to pay for the specific non-covered care." I never heard from ECNC or their collector again, a letter of apology or acknowledgement would have been appropriate. I have left a negative review on Yelp, Google, and a complaint on BBB #13439417, and submitted a grievance form to Tricare West based on how poorly they handled this situation. They do not respond to negative reviews and obviously do not care how they treat their patients. I've uploaded the letter from Tricare West as proof.

Got my lasik done there and it was an awesome experince! Dr. Olson and his whole staff were so kind and caring.
