Very knowledgeable Dr.'s on staff, but that is to be expected. Usually takes about 30-60 minutes to be seen with appointments. Ex: If you have a 10 AM appt., you won't be seen until 11 AM.

Fred Farina

Short wait time and a very quick exam. Been going here for years and am pleased with the staff and the doctors i have seen

Appointment was right on schedule. The male tech who checked my vision was friendly, patient and efficient. Dr. Fish is superior - i find him very thorough, friendly, compassionate and knowledgeable in his field.

Dr. Forstot is, in my opinion, the best ophthalmologist in Colorado, and maybe the country. He is extremely knowledgeable and thorough. He did transplants of both my corneas. Then a few years later, he wasn't satisfied with whatever he saw in my right eye, so he replaced that cornea. A few years later he did cataract surgery on both eyes. Everything he has done for me has been perfection. He really is the best.

I have been seeing Dr. Forstat for 11 years When he discovered I had a Epiretinal Membrane problem, he referred me to a Retinal Specialist. When I had a Cataract, He did the surgery. He is great, all the technicians are great, and the office staff are very friendly. In this time period I have recommended Dr. Forstat and staff to several of my friends, and will continue to do so.

Even though I have needed to wear glasses since the 5th grade, it has taken over 20 years for me to finally have the worst experience ever with an eye doctor, thanks to Corneal Consultants of Colorado. As others have said, the wait was very long, no one mentioned or apologized for that 30 plus minutes past appointment time. The exam commences, and when I ask again why it is necessary to pay for the 'contact lens fitting' I am never given an explanation other than "that's just how we do it here." Someone from the office had called the business day before my appointment and told me there would be an additional charge for 'contact fitting,' having waited 2-3 weeks to let me know this info, but could not give me a reasonable answer as to why. I have a lot of experience with contacts, have been wearing them a very long time, and I have never paid extra for what this practice considers a special service. No other practice, in my experience, considers it to be. I asked why I needed to see the specialist if the doctor is the one who writes the prescription, but there was just no way they were not going to collect that extra money (the yearly exam is covered by insurance, no copay to me.) I was reminded over and over and over that they are not OPTOMETRISTS (oh the horror!) they are OPHTHALMOLOGISTS and thus, given the obvious (to them) superiority of their practice, I should just hang my head in shame for having visited an optometrist for my last visit and fork over whatever money they told me to. BTW I regularly visited an OPHTHALMOLOGIST for years before my fateful visit to the not-to-be-respected optometrist, and still never paid for special fittings. The 'specialist' was great, she was actually the best encounter of the visit, however, but I did not end up having my prescription, nor my choice of contacts, change; neither did I walk out with any samples, so...I did not receive a fitting, but I still had to pay for it. The doctor, Dr. Mirza, was very short in tone, did not seem to want to spend much time answering the few questions I had, and actually remarked, "Ugh, this is written in 'optometrist language'" when I showed her my previous prescription, and she proceeded to sigh and do some sort of 'translation' of said optometrist language with many sounds to express the extra work this was putting her through. She spent less than 10 minutes with me, seemed like she had somewhere else to be, and I still don't know if I can do LASIK at some point. If I can, it sure won't be with these folks, who are condescending, inconsiderate of their patients' time, disorganized, and SLOW. When I finally got to leave 2.5 hours after my appointment time (I was told it would take 1.5 hours when making the appointment) I got to the checkout desk to find...they did not have my contact prescription ready! WHA?!? THAT WAS THE MAIN REASON I WAS THERE! I got to wait another 15 minutes for someone, somewhere, to track it down. I really regret having gone to this practice, which I found on my insurance website, and would recommend to others that they skip these guys and find a provider who practices compassion and consideration.

I fly in from Florida to see them because they're the best doctors anywhere. These are the doctors to trust with your eyes.

I was there for an eye checkup. My appointment started on time, the staff and Dr Forstot were friendly and efficient as always. I had Lasik mono-vision surgery 10 years ago. My left eye is still 20/20 for distance and my right eye is still 20/20 for up close. Highly recommended!

Wait times are ridiculous as too many patients are booked too close together. Waiting rooms are jammed. I experienced complications from a morning procedure. I called to see if my symptoms were normal or if I needed to return to the office. As I couldn't actually talk to a medical professional, my message was relayed to an assistant. I was told that I'd need to return to the office for treatment. When I arrived and actually got in to see a doctor, without even examining me he told me that my symptoms were completely normal and that there was no need to come in. It's a shame that in this day and age, we can't actually talk to our doctors anymore without setting an appointment for an office visit. : (

Best Care and Follow-up I was originally referred to this practice by another ophthalmologist who suggested I needed additional specialists to diagnose my eye condition, as it was either "inflammation or a tumor" but my appointment time could wait. Once my condition worsened, Corneal Consultants bumped up my appointment, got me on the waiting list for dropped appointments, and then in to see Dr. Fish the next business day. I went through a very thorough and expedited set of appointments to get things reviewed before biopsy the following week. After the biopsy, I experienced severe complications and Dr. Fish responded to several panicked phone calls throughout the night, met me in the office around 4am for retreatment, again at 8am, and again at 1pm the following day. Meanwhile, Dr. Fish had rushed the biopsy sample to a specialty lab out of state and procured preliminary lab results way ahead of when they were promised. He helped me get checked into an ER that he had practicing rights at and visited me past 7pm, after he'd already had a full day of patients in the office, and brought me my diagnosis in person and worked with hospital staff to start immediate plans of treatment. This entire ordeal was very scary and completely unexpected, but my mother and I felt that we were in the best possible hands with Dr. Fish. His compassion and follow-through were unheard of and made all the difference in these circumstances.

I wrote a review which obviously did not get read, But I got a thank you for the posting. It was a negative posting about the bad office processes.

I had PRK surgery done by Dr. Damiano. He isn't just an opthemologist, this man really seems to enjoy what he does. My surgery was fast, painless, and my recovery is going well. Its been about a week since surgery and my vision is improving everyday! I reccomend him and this office in general for anyone that needs laser eye surgery (he does Lasik too but I prefered PRK because its safer). Wait times can vary from short to long depending on the day. Michelle in the office is also wonderful and very helpful. I wish I could give more than 5 stars.

Professional-caring-understanding-interested-sincere-and friendly! Now that's a formula for quality service! And that is what I've experienced for the past 10 years as a patient. I highly recommend!

I have been seeing Dr. Forstot for many, many years and cannot say enough good things about him. He is a phenomenal Specialist. My beef is with the incompetence of some staff that work behind the scenes. Specifically related to prescription refills. I will continue to see Dr. Forstot and Carrie for contacts but am pretty disgusted with some of the issues with billing, prescriptions and orders in the last year. And it’s not getting any better. So, I am writing the first poor review for this office and I will start responding to the patient survey request each time I visit. One day later: I went into the office to follow up with my refill and was taken back to speak with the Practice Administrator. I am so grateful for his time (Andrew Gustafson). He wanted to hear about my phone call experience and assured me he would handle the problem. I appreciate the concern and kindness he showed me. I will continue to see Dr. Forstot with confidence this situation won’t happen again.

Check-in was a little slow, but the exam was very competent and professional.

My double vision problem was beautifully diagnosed by Cameile. I have seldom experienced such competent service in my life! She is excellent! Upon checking out, Mona was equally friendly and helpful. Overall A fine experience.

Josh Toney

Great treatment, awful front desk. The ladies at checkout wanted to talk personal topics instead of helping a customer standing in front of them. Very rude and unworthy of my business or yours.

Lembas

I always receive professional, prompt and friendly attention and care, from the front desk to the technicians and doctors.

Ken Rupp

Everyone from the front desk to the Dr. was very personable yet extremely knowledgeable and seriously interested in your vision and eyes.

Nancy Blackmon

Didn't intend on taking the afternoon off from MY job to sit in their office waiting over an hour for my appointment that I've had for 3 months. Of course they expect you to be on time, but why aren't they? Will find another Eye Dr.

I've been a patient for several years. Two years ago I needed cataract surgery. My experience could not have been better. After 50 years of wearing glasses, I now have 20 20 vision! The quality of care for something major or even a routine examination has been consistantly excellent. Many thanks to Dr. Repine and the outstanding staff.
