I had cataract surgery by Dr. Dewey, monovision + femtosecond LACS for astigmatism, with second eye (right, distance) completed last week. Left eye set at reading, two weeks earlier. I can see better than I have ever been able to, very sharp and clear. Minimal side effects, but still healing and adjusting after five days. Adapted to the monovision within one day after the second surgery. Both surgeries went very well and were over quickly. The LACS part was pretty uneventful and pain-free, just some funny-colored patterns seen. I don't remember anything about the cataract surgery part, as I was under heavy sedation for that. Dr. Dewey explained all the IOL choices clearly at the pre-op consultation. He thought I would do well with monovision and he was right. I can highly recommend Dr. Dewey and his staff at CSEC. Definitely 5 stars!
