All the staff at Dr. Kruger's office are very upbeat , friendly, and professional. Dr. Kruger himself is a very careful and cautious doctor. He explained several years ago that eventually I would need cataract surgery in my right eye. When I finally I decided to go ahead with the procedure. Dr. Kruger carefully explained all the costs and gave me printed materials on what to do and expect before surgery, on the day of surgery and following surgery. The majority of the costs were paid by Madicare. I elected to have corrective surgery on my vision, which was a separate cost not covered by Medicare. On the day of surgery everyone was very friendly and continually checked on how I was doing. There was a little irritation in the eye for a few days but no real pain. I can't believe how much my vision improved after the cataract surgery. I went to a Rockies game and for the first time I could see the player clearly, even with out my glasses. I can watch television without my glasses. Dr. Kruger is a very dedicated and skilled doctor. I highly recommend him to anyone having an surgery connected with their eyes.

Dr. Kruger recently performed cataract surgery on my mother-in-law. I accompanied her to appointments and was generally pleased with the experience. Dr. Kruger seems very knowledgeable and personable, though it might help if he could speak a bit slower. The only thing my mother-in-law and I found unsatisfactory was the lack of communication skills from the young male "technician". When speaking to a senior citizen, it's not appropriate to address him as "Dude", which I overheard. And he once said to us, "I'll tell Kruger you're ready." The doctor has 12 years of advanced schooling and I believe he deserves to be referred to as "Doctor". Seniors are used to a bit more formality and the technician would do well to remember that. Otherwise, the office staff was helpful and friendly, and I would refer anyone to this office.

Outstanding surgeon. His interest, training, and experience in complex cataract surgery convinced me that he was the surgeon to help me reach my goal of not needing glasses following cataract surgery for doing all the outdoor sports that I enjoy including biking, skiing, golfing, backpacking, and swimming. What made my case complex was that I had LASIK surgery 20 years ago and my astigmatism had worsened in recent years along with my cataracts. I also have some mild pattern dystrophy in one eye. Dr. Kruger methodically ordered extensive tests to evaluate both conditions. After careful analysis, he used toric IOLs which were the perfect lens implants for me. He used every means available, including the ORA machine, to fit me with the best prescription possible for the lens implants. Dr. Kruger even called me at home a couple of times to discuss test results. He and his staff always explained procedures and options and answered all my questions. Both eye surgeries were done without complications and I am very happy with my 20/20 vision. The office staff and procedures are first-rate. I never had to wait more than 5 minutes to be taken into an exam room…even when I arrived early for my appointment. The surgery scheduling, including all pre-op and post-op appointments, was smooth, efficient, and accommodating. All assistants in the office mirror Dr. Kruger’s love of his work.

I wouldn’t recommend going here. I now have a permanent eye floater from my last procedure. Dr.Kruger showed no concern and pushed me to another doctor, which is becoming rather expensive. In order to correct this, I need another eye surgery that could potentially cause my retina to detach again.
