Our experience was wonderful. From the moment we stepped in the office, we were welcomed by the friendly staff, our registration was smooth, there was almost no wait time to get back to see the doctor and my previously nervous 6 year old son felt comfortable the entire time he was there. Dr. Satterfield and her staff made him feel at ease and she was great at answering all of our questions. The experience we had was a great one and I would highly recommend Dr. Satterfield to others.

I had to wait about 5 weeks for an appointment, but I am really impressed by Dr. Satterfield. She knows her stuff. She was able to help me see with a temporary fix to my glasses until my new one could be made. I'm so happy to be able to see proper again. She is the nicest Doctor and explained my problem first visit. Definitely recommend her.

Loved our experience with Miss Denise and Miss Laurel (and the whole team) during our initial consultation. The appointment moved along on time. The staff was super friendly and kid focused (books, magnetic maze toys, gluten free home made mini cookie for reward after eye dilation, coin for a reward from the treasure chest). I had huge smiles as did my 4.5yo daughter! Looking forward to our follow up in 2 mos! Highly recommend. Worth the wait!

Dr. Satterfield is a pediatric Opthamologist who graduated from UC Davis in the late 1980's. They have a strong endorsement of VSP for vision insurance but they accept other plans. For Blue Shield, as of this writing, she in the network. There is ample parking available with an elevator and stairs as she is on the second floor of the building. We took my younger daughter to see her and the medical staff were knowledgeable and friendly. They have some good tricks to keep the child distracted such as dancing toy musicians (like little robots) and movies. Dr. Satterfield suggested some inexpensive prescription swim goggle vendors for us and gives a little toy prize for each child at the end of the session. We may go see her again in a few years if necessary. She is closed on Wednesdays and weekends and her waiting list is several months long for scheduling purposes, but she seemed very good from our initial experience.

Been going to Dr.Satterfield for some years now and each visit have been a pleasant experience at first my daughter was nervous but Dr.Satterfield is a wonderful Dr. her staff is very warm and welcoming the office is very quiet and kid friendly Dr.Satterfield loves her kids and my daughter has become more comfortable with going to the eye dr she is a great listener and very patient with my child look forward to the visits to her office makes you and your family feel very comfortable.I highly recommend seeing her she is great first visit was very pleasant and every visit since have been a great experience my daughter is really comfortable now she is helpful and she explained everything to me very well we really appreciate her caring for our child best Dr Ever.
