Ignore the one star rant. I’ve been a patient for several years, never treated with anything other than respect. Dr. Besser is knowledgeable and personable and his staff is great. It’s a medical facility so sometimes there might be an emergency but I’ve never waited an unreasonable length of time. Staff needs to ask you why you are there, for insurance coverage the insurance companies want to know what you say your problem is.

Dr. Besser has given me a gift beyond compare. He's given me the opportunity to see the world around me again and I'll be forever grateful. On a recent trip from Michigan to visit my son and grandchildren in LA I had an appointment with Dr. Besser for possible cataract surgery. Little did I know that this would change my life! After a very brief wait I was warmly greeted and escorted to an exam room where I met Dr Besser. This proved to be one of the best experiences of my life! This kind, genuinely caring man performed all the tests then made his recommendations while thoroughly explaining everything. He made sure I had all my questions answered and gave me his undivided attention. Within a week, he performed successful surgery on one eye and subsequently on my other. No pain. No discomfort. No eyepatch. The results were immediate! I appreciate his knowledge and highly recommend him. He and his staff are so positive and welcoming I'm sure that you'll have a great experience as I did!
