I first went to Simmons Eye Care to get glasses for myself and was very pleased with the service that i received from them. As Dr. Steele and his nurse Alli were checking my eyes to see what lenses i needed i couldn't help but notice how well they work together. I started telling Dr Steele about my mom who is 77yrs of age and in the last 4yrs has had a brain tumor removed and a aneurysm behind her right eye repaired. The aneurysm had caused damage to the muscle and nerves which was effecting her vision. she also had a cataract on her left eye again causing her vision to be so bad that she could not do things for herself such as go shopping or drive herself to church. The brain and aneurysm surgery each went well thank you Lord.... But her vision was still the same, after going to, TWO eye specialist, no one could tell us what to do.... so after explaining this to Dr Steele he says that it sounds like a plan of action needs to be put in place to get your moms vision back as good as it can be and that he would love to take a look at her if i wanted.. So i said sure and i took mom to see him, in no time he suggested a plan like no other Dr had done and we followed threw with it.. Two months later my mom can see BETTER than she has in a long time. she is back to shopping and takes herself to church and is constantly bragging about how good she can see.. THANK YOU SO MUCH Dr. Steele and Nurse Alli..... words are not enough...... Thank You: Richard Nash...

They are open till 8pm on Tue and Thur, but they discriminate against certain insur they take after 5pm. They will only take the ones that pay the most after 5pm. True Story!

Great service. Staff is friendly and professional. You may have to wait on a busy day, but the quality of service is worth it. If you're looking for drive-through national chain service with limited or no insurance, try Success Vision or Vision 4 Less. These guys have an incredible selection of frames for a private family business!

I went to Dr.Simmons after cataract surgery with my new prescription. I was pleased with the service I received (from Renee') but when I received them I couldn't see with them. So they asked me to come again and they'd make sure the prescription had been filled correctly. It was a little skewed so on to the next set of glasses (N/C). Sadly to say that didn't work either, so I made an appointment to see the doctor so he could write up the correct script and Voila', I can see again. And most importantly, there was no office visit charge, no charge whatsoever! Fantastic place, I'll go back for sure! Thank you to everyone at Simmons Eye Care!

Professional and nice staff. I had problems in the past a few times getting the correct prescription at other places. I have astigmatisms and prisms. They did an excellent job. They were taking detailed notes on the computer about my eyesight. I will go back to them again when the time comes to get my eyes rechecked.

First- ceiling in the exam was white, yet more water stained brown than white. 2nd- paid my bill, wanted to charge me $258 for a 20 minute exam ( no dialating or scanning done). Once I questioned the price, i was told it is because I have insurance. $109 if I paid cash. Could not straight answers on multiple questions. If you work, have good insurance prepare to be ravaged. The ladies that assisted in my frames, excellant service. Picked my glasses up today, copy of the bill they changed $258 to $233. No I would not refer anyone. I will be contacting my Insurance, notifying them the scam they are running Yes I have documentation to verify It would be nice for the owner to contact me, highly doubtfull it will happen.

Couldn't be happier! The staff is great and always willing to assist and answer any questions I have, went in yesterday to order another pair of glasses from them and it couldn't have been easier and their selection of frames is great especially the oakley selection in regular frames and sunglasses in prescription and non prescription! This was my 2nd time in and many more will follow, I'm sold on simmons
