I was very unhappy with my optometrist a friend of mine recommended this place. Let me tell you switching doctors was one of the best decisions I've ever made. The staff here is so friendly and helpful, the place is spotless and spacy, they have a nice selection of glasses to choose from , and the prices are reasonable. The doctor is one the best as well, she was able to tell me I had the wrong prescription of glasses and contacts and that I have astigmatism in my left eye something that my other eye doctor never told me about. I fully recommend this place to anyone!

Was looking for an eye dr near my home and I googled places and my eye dr came up and I couldn’t be more happier with my decision. The doctor was amazing and she was such a people person and did a very thorough exam of my eyes and the front desk staff was the sweetest ladies I’ve met in a while. And to top it off my glasses are DOPE!!

I looked online before visiting this location and was impressed with the selection of frames. I was greeted by a friendly receptionist when I came to my appointment. However when the doctor came in the room she was so mean I almost left. I'm not even kidding, She was quite possibly the rudest doctor I have ever met. I decided to stick it out given the fact that I was there and it had been years since my last eye exam. When we were wrapping up she said she didn't feel good and probably should have rescheduled her clients but she only had 3 so she would stick it out and next time I saw her she would be nicer. Well guess what. There will definitely not be a next time. She didn't walk me out but rather handed me my folder to take to "someone up front that would help me". Thank goodness that lady was much nicer. She showed me around but lo and behold you had NONE of the higher end brands I was interested in online. No Michael Kors, Lilly Pulitzer, Tory Burch, Prada, Ralph Lauren...nothing but a handful of Coach and a lot of overpriced junk. It was such a poor experience I paid for my eye exam and left without getting glasses. Definitely won't be back. And for the record...if you can't be nice to your patients, just reschedule them.

Contacts wearer and pretty much legally blind so I hate getting my eyes checked. However, I had a great experience for my first visit. Staff were timely and friendly from the moment I walked in the door, and Dr. Eisenstatt was very informative regarding lasik and had a great bedside manner as well. Two thumbs up, y’all

They allowed me to come in same day and assured me they would squeeze me in. When I got there, I was greeted by the most friendly front desk staff! I filled out my paper work and since I rushed to get there, the complimentary coffee in the waiting room was much needed. The doctor was very informative and easy to talk to. She did everything she could to keep my bill low, including recommending an adjustment on my current frame (which wasn't the best option for my glasses, I found out. Not because of anything they did but because of my anatomy). The same girl that did my adjustment assisted me in picking out new frames and gave me her honest opinion on each when I asked how they looked (which I highly respected) she worked with me on pricing and gave me a quote on each after running it by my insurance company. I am very satisfied with this company and look forward to using them in the future!

As a former employee at the Bear Location i can honestly say this is the WORST place to work and buy eye wear. The General manager at the Bear Location is extremely lazy and rude. She would throw temper tantrums whenever she was asked to do anything besides sit on her phone all day. If something else was bothering her that day she would take it out on most of the employees. She would let orders that needed to be fixed or entered into the computer pile up until the patient called looking for their order. And don't even get me started on the District manager. He is aware of all this and refuses to do anything but take her out to lunch and reward her for being a horrible manager. also on many occasions the District Manager has said some pretty inappropriate things to me. He would ask me why i look so "chinky" etc. This company is definitely plagued with favoritism. If you were on her good side (Basically if you were Caucasian) she would let you leave early, take vacations whenever and also pay you more. She would also let you sit in the lab all day to avoid taking hand offs leaving the other optician ON THE FLOOR TAKING EVERY PATIENT THAT CAME OUT. there would be times i was forced to help multiple patients at a time due to the lack of help i received. Myeyedr doesn't care about their patients what they care about is money and numbers. i never got compensated for the trips to other locations i was forced to go to. After i left the company i went into the Bear location to pick up my free cleaning cloth and spray and i heard the manager say to another coworker "why is she in here?"... to me that was VERY unprofessional.Honestly you would be better off going to Simon eye or lens Crafters they have a bigger selection and friendlier people. i wish there was an option of leaving no stars this company doesn't even deserve one star.

Very bad customer service, i had my child glasses ordered more than a month ago, and they are not ready due to unknown reasons, every time I call to check on the order they promise me to find out the status and call back and of course they never call back or give me a good answer why the order is not ready. Originally i was told the order sill be ready in max 2 weeks.

Called them to get replacement frames for my 9 year old and was put on hold for about 20 minutes before i hung up. Called back 20 minutes later and they said no one was available to help me. The eye doctors are great but im assuming its the front desk that takes patients calls and it seems like they just want to push you on to the next person. I know im going to take my business else where.

I would suggest not going here and if you did you may need a second opinion. I took my 3 school aged children here and they said all 3 needed glasses. I trusted them but after talking with a family member and there pediatrician I got a second opinion. The second opinion said the glasses were not necessary. I already ordered and paid for the glasses so I called the manager, Rachel, and she said after speaking with the Dr. the glasses were not necessary but recommended if they use the computer alot(which they do not) or with reading close up. I said they will not be using them at all, so she offered a full refund. This was back in December, she said it would take awhile to go through corporate so I waited patientlybut I'm still waiting. After waiting about 8 weeks I started calling and Rachel was never available I was always told she just stepped out after I was told to hold and that she was there. I have also stopped in and the girls in the reception area were of no help and Rachel just so happened to be away. I have emailed her and she still has yet to respond. This whole ordeal has taken up so much time(mother of 4 so there isn't much time to deal with this), I was told I would get a refund and now I can't even get a return call. There is so much more to this story, like how they charged my 2 insurance companies for the same thing so I had to pay out of pocket when I went to get the 2nd opinion. With this said maybe I'll get a response from someone but my advice think twice before going to the Bear location.

Had pr glasses on hold. They took drill mounts and used them for other eyeglasses and bcz they changed their name is reason why i couldnt purchase them. Meaning they dont sell anymore. Now i have fou d glasses i wsnt but still csnnot order for me bcz of new company name

I would have selected a rating of 0 stars if that was possible. This is not the first one star review, so anyone considering this place is well warned. Anywhere else is likely to be a better place to go for your eyewear needs. Without turning this into too long of a review, a summary of my experience is as follows. They will attempt to charge you for products and services you do not ask for and do not need. They do not always tell you what you are being charged for, particularly for products and services you do not ask for and do not need. They claim to take all insurance plans, but this is not true as I could have saved almost 200 dollars by going elsewhere, and I tried using a MAJOR insurance provider.....AETNA. If this sounds like a business you want to work with, good luck. UPDATE March 20th, 2017 - Do not be fooled by the business owner's attempt to show concern here. I have reached out to customer service twice since this happened, and have never heard back. Search the internet for MyEyeDr and you will find repeated complaints against them that all they do is push products you do not need. Again, the extremely low reviews speak for themselves. You are better off getting your eyewear needs cared for anyplace but here.

My fiancé went in for his yearly exam the beginning of April , and it has been 3 visits of back & fourth. He still doesn't have glasses that he can accurately see out of without any issues. It's like pulling teeth to get his glasses correct. First visit - had exam, and was told what we already know - he's blind. Second visit - we took his glasses back because they were HUGE . they weren't high index, to make them thinner, like we were charged for. & the frame he picked was blamed to be the problem for why they were so thick. They were about 3/4" thick, so we exchanged and picked different frames - frames that were suggested by a tech there so when they got thinned , they would look better . keep reading, it gets better ! Third visit - The lenses are thinner , which is probably the only good thing here . Now doesn't have any sense of depth perception . He has no peripheral vision now. He feels like they are over magnifying everything. They give him headaches that no amount of Tylenol touches. The tech there is blaming the frames that he now has but this is the same tech who suggested the frames he has now .. Confused on why we keep getting the run around?! HE JUST WANTS TO BE ABLE TO SEE WITHOUT ANY ISSUES. glasses aren't cheap, and this is just straight up annoying now. They took our money, and our time & I have no more to give!

I dont write reviews... but I saw this place got really negative reviews previously and honestly I was scared to go to this particular location, expecting to receive awful service. That was absolutely not the case. From the moment I walked in every one was kind and helpful, even though they appeared to be pretty busy. I was seen almost immediately and recieved great service from the lady who welcomed me in to the doctor himself and the woman who helped me after, I wish I knew thier names specifically but I'm awful and forgot. Point is, this is a great facility. Go here.

I had a very pleasant experience with Kelly at My eye Dr. in Easton. All of the staff were pleasant and ready to assist in any way they could. I ordered glasses and they were perfect. After using them for a few months I just couldn’t seem to get used to them . The glasses and vision were fine but the frames were not comfortable for me. After going back to the store and explaining all this I walked away with new glasses. I am thrilled. I even got sun glasses made at a discounted price. I recommend this establishment.

Showed up with a broken set of Silhouette frames. Technician took 'em in the back room and repaired them. When I said "let's settle up", she said, "no charge, that's why we're here". I know where I buy my next set of frames!

My Eye Dr at the Bear location is the worst! Let's start with their customer service. Very poor communication and not very professional. I ordered my eye wear 4 weeks ago and they have yet to arrive. I called four times and every time I call i receive a lame excuse. After my exam (which Dr. Boyland is awesome) I was in the process of ordering my items and the tech was very unprofessional, I can sense he was not sure of what he was doing and took it up himself to take his time. It was Horrible! I love the Dr's there, but the staff need help! #fustrated

If I could review with zero stars, I would. This whole company is likely a scam, but my experience with the Bear location is apparently experienced by others. After being talked into getting progressive lenses, I had the worst time trying to get glasses I could actually see out of. My insurance company was charged for 2 pair of glasses and I paid out of pocket only to be given a run around. To make a VERY long story short, I felt I had to physically go to the office to get someone to help me because a return phone call never happened. An appointment was made to get the correct lenses and then I had to deal with an extremely rude and defensive doctor. I was told by Rachel I would get a refund but it would take corporate a while due to the Memorial Day holiday. Well, it's July now and I made a phone call a month ago asking for Rachel and she "just stepped out of the office". Rachel also told me she was going to report the doctor to the supervisor of their territory, which I'm sure never happened either, so I am filing a complaint with the medical board. I called patient relations to find out about my refund and the phone just rang and rang until it hung up...not even able to leave a message. Ridiculous!

The appointment went well, everything after did not. I asked about daily lenses and was given a sample. The person at checkout was looking for the prescription and had to be reminded where to look for additional savings that ended up saving me over $300! After using the sample lenses I called to request my old monthly’s, every lense from the samples ripped. I never received a call back, I followed up and the prescription was ordered. I was told they would refund my account the difference. My husband picked up the lenses and they didn’t include any receipt/order information. I had to call and request a refund.

I have NEVER experienced such bad customer service in my life. And let me I am old and have been to hundreds of Doctors appointments and this MY Eye Doctor thing is terrible.. I was promised 7-10 days and it is now 2 weeks and have been put on hold 2 times and can not be told if my glasses are in. Beware when you call the my Doctor number they are in a call center not the office. So plan on being on hold while they call the office. Then if you call the number for the Bear office you get leave a message. I will be leaving a message. I have never left a review before but this was necessary. I would recommend going elsewhere unless you want to be very frustrated and blind while waiting for your glasses.

Not completely happy. First visit I got my exam, went smoothly and the price was fair. Then I picked a frame and was told almost $700! Haggled around and got price down to $325. Next I waited about 10 days for glasses to come in. Glasses in but they are blurred. Bottom line, it took another examination and two more visits to get it right. Disappointed.

Never will I go here again. Horrible customer service, never greeted. I waited 30 mins before ever being greeted. They didnt even say we'll be with you as soon as possible. All I needed to do was pick up an order. Then they messed up my order. I paid when I purchased, they never put it in the system and tried to say I owed money, I had to find my bank statement to prove I paid. It was horrible. Never ever again.

Very profesional, the doctors and receptionists were all friendly, I couldnt see because of the dilution they put in my eye so a nice lady helped me pick the glasses I wanted. I had no problem with them what so ever, they also had a kurege machine so I could have my Dunkin donuts coffee while waiting. Can't wait to go back :)

I had a very bad experience here at the Bear location of My Eye Dr. The Doctor was nice in explaining about my eye conditions, what could benefit and what to avoid for my eyesight but the experience with buying glasses was terrible. I ordered a frameless set from silhouette and it was built crooked. Then someone came up to help me fix it by minor alignment but that was worthless. She asked her colleague to help her and it was again a waste of time. I am completely fine with it since mistakes happen. She then called her manager Rachel and where Rachel tried to bend the ear piece so much that I was afraid the glasses would break but she convinced me that its ok and the glasses or frame wont be damaged while she is making adjustments. At last when she failed to fix it , she told me that because I have a asymmetric face the glasses will be crooked always. Not sure if she really think that anyone would buy crooked/damaged glasses and walk away with it. I showed her my current rimless pair and every other pair from their collection that they are not crooked on my face. It took a few minutes for me to convince her that they are built crooked and should be returned to the manufacturer for a remake. I was told that she could get me a pair in next week following the 4th of July holiday. When I called next week they said they don't have a status update on my order (at this time they had not placed any order) and by the end of week they said they were able to put a order and I would get my glasses next week. I was stalled for next three weeks with these reasons; glasses arrived and they broke accidentally, a new pair of glasses are on the way, we are seeing your order have not dispatched from seller's facility etc. and when I asked for a refund since it was taking too long, they said it would take 4-6 weeks to get a refund from the corporate office. ( they once said it is not possible to refund! ).This is "literally" a true test of gentleman and his patience. At this time I was pretty sure that I would either end up without glasses or need to get a really cheap one from a supermarket for the rest of the year since I had spent a whopping amount out of pocket as well as through my insurance provider. It took a week for my insurance provide to void their authorization and about two months to get the refund check. I think the main problem is that the employees at My Eye Dr at Bear location are not aware what is the best possible way to solve the problem since each customer has a unique situation. I am not judging the ethics and morale of the company or its brand reputation. They have good office, good collection of eyewear, good doctors and good employees too but problem solving skill is something where they need more training. I think people would go to them again for the eye needs if they were to offer something for the discomfort people had to bear and that they improve on their problem area for the next time. I really hope they do improve !

I have gone to Halpern Eye Care for years, it is a really friendly and caring facility. The doctors take the time to explain what they are doing and also how it affects your eyes. Excellent eye docs.

Worst place . They said i get my glasses in 11 days. After 11 days no updates.When i called the customer service i got such a rude response. When i asked more questions about the status and the promises what they have given about. The lady put me on hold to connect with the manager. This happened 4 times and every time they made me to wait for more than 30 minutes. Despite of the wait I didn't get the right answer/service.

A great location, good eye glass selection and wonderful staff (especially Tammy). I like how they are continuously changing their frame options, as well as running promotional offers.

Warning .. I tried to get contact lenses here. After a couple of visits and trail pairs that I had problems with, I never ordered contacts because they did not fit. I stopped by the store in Easton the other day and the lady at the counter told me I had to order something or they will charge me for a new fitting. I was willing to work with them to try something else but they never gave me the correct fitting and now they are asking me to buy something I can not wear...This is just crazy...If you want to waste your money and time this is the place for you... ****UPDATE**** if you look below they responded saying for me to call them. But on twitter they told me 2 days ago that someone from customer care team would call me I gave them my cell number via twitter and Facebook messaging...I guess they have so many complaints that they lose track and forget to call...

Rude staff!!! I paid for glasses, over $300 only not to be able to see out of them. Was told I needed a recheck with doctor to go to single vision glasses... yes single vision now that I have paid for bifocal lenses. When I called to make an appointment I cant get in because they no longer have a doctor unless I want to go to a different Eye Fit. I get to wait for at least a month for an appointment to open up. Save yourself the frustration!!!

After misplacing my glasses (a problem when you also don't have contacts), the downtown Memphis Family Vision office took me in as a first-time patient the same day I called for an appointment. Not only did they work to get me in FAST, they offer their medical forms online which got me in and out of the office in record time as well. I was comfortable throughout the whole appointment, and both Dr. Usdan and the front desk were very communicative and super friendly. Definitely recommend, huge thanks to the downtown Memphis Family Vision office!

If you needs glasses DO NOT GO. They sell expensive classes and when they don't work, the refuse to refund money. Lost close to 2000 dollars and they wanted me to try something else for another 1000. edit: they seemed to redeem themselves with how they handled this situation. I didn't have to pay for the eye exam or visit, just the contacts. Which I appreciated. They just started a new system, and I think this how the situation got confused. I scheduled an appointment three weeks ago. I live in Middletown and on my way to the appointment, they called me to cancel because the doctor didn't order any contacts for me. I was livid. They had three weeks to sort this out, and they wanted to cancel when I was 5 minutes away from the office. I refused and they brought me in, didn't fit me for any contacts. The manager did sit down and discuss with me what happened as there was a huge misunderstanding between the scheduling office and them. Still, it was very unorganised and I was told one thing and the complete opposite happened. Not sure where the disconnect came from, but I was not impressed. I am paying out of pocket for contacts and want to be treated fair & square as a customer. They were not cancelling my appointment because of an emergency but because they were unprepared.

Meh. Two sets of custom lenses and prescribed contacts never seemed quite right. They have a good selection of custom frames which appears to generate significant revenue as a result of the 20%-40%+ markup to the price of the frames. Extra star for the very friendly, personable staff.

I am thankful I decided to give this place a try. After a bad (& very expensive) experience at another local retailer, I had been driving to a chain in Annapolis (which was not much better). This store has a unique selection & variety of frames/lenses to choose from. The staff is more than helpful in explaning insurance/benefits. If I could give this place a Zero I would. Made an appointment a week before for a Saturday. Got a confirmation text two days before my appointment. I arrive to my appointment and they cancelled it without letting me know. My experience before that wasn’t great either. Only reason I made a second appointment here is because they have Saturday hours and JCPenney Optical no longer accepts my insurance.

I called for an email of my prescription and they said they'd send it (First of all, when I called, all I heard was giggling , like thats not professional). I waited 30 mins and after still not having received an email, I called again and asked if they forgotten about me . They replied "we didn't forget, we're checking patients in right now" I said "well how long will it be" She said "when we can" in like this smart voice. Do you think they sent me an email? HA no, they did not. Never received it. Like really, how long does it take to send an email? She needs to be fired. I guess its quantity over quality here because I hear many people working, but professionalism really isn't their thing.
