No complaints--got an appointment in a reasonable amount of time, no excessive waiting, accepts Tricare Prime, comparable prices, and MD and staff pleasant, patient, and competent enough to my liking. Is a Wiley X sunglasses dealer--not overly common.
Have eye conditions that warrants/justifies getting Wiley X sunglasses with foam inserts/facial seals to help seal out dust. Likewise, no unfiltered light enters the eyes.
They aren't cheap... anywhere. My bi-focal, polarized glasses ran $425-ish, again for what I honestly needed. That was better than the initial quote of $529 which included some options found to be unnecessary.
Because of my prescription demands, I decided I'd be better off time-wise to go to an MD's office instead of ordering from the internet--smart decision. Staff made several phone calls to Wiley and me ensuring sunglasses were available as needed. Mating my prescription and medical needs with Wiley's demands was a bit painstaking and required a return because of Wiley's error.
I might have been able to save a few dollars going elsewhere or dealing with internet. However, I put a premium on wanting Wiley X, proximity to my house, accepting Tricare Prime, and willingness to put new lenses in old frames, something three other nearby places couldn't or wouldn't do. I also was confident getting my prescription filled was going to be a pain and wanted a doctor's office to complete the ordering process to help ensure an expeditious delivery.
By the way, Little Rock AFB couldn't put new lenses in old frames because of a policy change. They did my first pair before that...
