Went in to see about replacing my broken frames. Found a pair of Oakley frames, and even though I had near new lenses, they need to make new ones to fit. I gave them my prescription, and even though they said it would take 10 days to get in, i was called four days later that they arrived. I was in, and out quickly, and the lenses are way better made, and I even see better than what was made for me by another eye center. I definitely recommend them, and will use Lenscrafters for all my future eyewear.

I used the dr next door to Lens Crafters. Got my eyes checked then went into LensCrafters. I was quoted the wrong price for the frames and lenses. The price was over $100 more than I was told. I went to another optical store and ordered glasses that were 1/2 the price of Lens Crafter’s without using my insurance. Got the glasses but could not see well when wearing them. Went back to the place I purchased the glasses and they matched the prescription. I called the dr’s office where my eyes were checked and was told they would charge me a $25 reassessment fee. I had my eyes checked at a different dr’s office and the prescription was totally different that the first one.

This place is terrible. My son had an eye exam from.the doctor next door then went over to lense crafters to get contacts, they stated it was going to be 175 dollars. We lived in Colorado and used colorado springs eye care and for the exact contacts we paid 74 dollars for a 6 month supply and that was with the exam. The girl was a complete moron and tried to tell me that all stores charge the same. Um incorrect. All stores do not charge the same and lense crafters is one of those shady places that tries to get every penny they can out of you. I told the girl over the phone to send my son with his prescription and I'd purchase the contacts myself online. She then got an attitude with me and said well I have to charge you 90 dollars if I give him the prescription. Really? I've never had to pay 90 dollars to receive my eye prescription anywhere. Do not go to this place. They are unprofessional, rude and charge you random pricing instead of following insurance guidelines.

As far as LensCrafters they have done great....but, they have a Dr. Hutchins next door that they use and he will rip you off.. I have vision insurance that has a $10 copay which includes dilation and refraction...when he dilated my pupils he charged me medical because my optical nerves was swollen and he said that made it medical and charged me $84.00. I have a $20 copay on medical...but he charged me because my deductible hasn't been met and according to my insurance that was wrong...he charged both me and my vision...WHAT A THIEVE!!!!

Too rude !!! The staff is too rude and don’t have bare minimum etiquettes on how to talk to customer. The store manager wins the race to rudeness. Went there for just an enquiry on HSA and they shouted on me “don’t come here. We don’t have doctor. Go to Kirkwood highway” Definitely they need a whole staff overhaul! Pathetic

Worst experience I've ever had. Once I was told the outrageous price, I told them I would think about it. I returned about 15 minutes later and the same lady ignored me. When I asked her where she had put the frames back she replied she didn't know! Just didn't care at all since I told her I would only be purchasing the frames at this time. I ended up having to look for a pair. The only reason I was there in the first place was due to my insurance provider. Then I was told I would have to wait after she got done with a customer. Even the manager on site seemed rude and their attitude completely changed after I informed them I would only get the frames. Worst experience ever. You could totally see they only care about you if you are willing to spend a ridiculous amount of money for glasses. WORST PLACE FOR YOUR GLASSES.

My experience is apparently very different than some other people who came here recently. Both staff members greeted me as I walked in. They took my information and were very patient with my questions. They also came up and asked if I needed assistance. They politely showed me my options and went through pricing. Very simple, easy and everyone I spoke to was very courteous. My four star rating comes from a limited selection to choose from.

I love this place! I bought my glasses 4 years ago from the awesome people that work here! They helped me with everything and just yesterday I broke the thread that holds the lenses in place by accident and it snapped! I was really sad and then today I called LensCrafters and they told me to bring them and they will repair them for free! It was such a nice experience, the expert working there got my glasses fixed with new thread in less then 15 minutes and also tightened up the bolts and made them like new! Thank you So much LensCrafters! This is an amazing place to get glasses! Will buy my next pair from them! Thank you thank you thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was in and out . My eye exam was $99 and my glasses plus lenses were $170. The lady respected my budget and helped me choose glasses I really really like. They can't do them in an hour but I got them the same day.

Total waste of time. Doctor was nice, but the wait for the glasses to be done was horrendus. Then I get my glasses and the perscription is WAY off. Go for second exam, wait again for glasses, and its still not right. I'm going somewhere else for a 2nd opinion exam and glasses. A month wasted.

Toni and the gentlemen in the wheelchair went out of there way to assist my wife and I with my new glasses. They are a true class act. I had some insurance problems and really needed my new glasses and they worked around some of there policies to get my stuff done in a timely manner. I only wish I knew the other guys name so I can give him his praise. He really showed me what determination and want will do for somebody. Thanks Lens Crafters for a great experience and fantastic customer service!!!!!!!!

Dr. and staff were great and quick. Sent out with an rx for glasses but wasn't told that stuff was missing from it and that I wouldn't be able to get it unless I bought from them or see the doctor at his regular office!!!

Worst location ever! RUDE staff and when my lenses were wrong for the SECOND time, they tried to make me keep them? I am sick and tired of companies cutting corners and since Lenscrafters is the MOST EXPENSIVE , I will now go online moving forward. Also, you have staff lying and saying it is a HIPPA law to give you a measurement by phone? You are going to be in legal trouble soon if you keep this up! See ya!

Jaslin was great. I came in with my 1 year old right before close on a Sunday. Not only did she keep her occupied but she was great in making sure my insurance was included in my pricing. Monday morning I forgot to have my prescription faxed over. After calling today, she said as soon as she came in from her day off, she called to get my prescription situated since she hadn't seen it. I should be expecting my frames no later than next Monday. Jaslin was awesome & I certainly plan to go back for any future purchases because of her.

Initial experience was great. Then when I went to pick up the glasses later in the day and younger girls were 'working' chewing gum and gossiping. They proceeded to ignore the phone while it rang. instead of giving me my glasses that were paid for they went to another customer to continue the initial buying process which takes an hour. Could of gotten better product at a better price and treated more professionally.

I am a customer with a degree and I have served my Country in both peace and war time. Recently the General Manager at the Fort Smith, Arkansas location on Rogers Ave. treated me with the most disrespect I have ever experienced. I work for a company that tries very hard to improve the lives of our youth and our future and the students in my charge were treated as if they didn't exist. I don't appreciate this and as a professional in the Customer Service industry I would hope that LensCrafters does not support this type of treatment for any customer. All other associates in the Fort Smith, Arkansas store treated us so well but unfortunately it was the person in charge that made the store look bad. As a customer and patron I wont be back and I will encourage the community to take a closer look at their choices before coming back to LensCrafters in Fort Smith.

I had an incredible experience with the optometrist attached to this LensCrafters location. He had a great personality that made my short first time visit worth while. Once I was taken back for prep, it was quick work getting me fitted for new contacts. I will definitely repeat business.

Lenscrafters in the Christiana mall has the worst customer service I have experienced. The employees did not greet me at all nor did anyone ask me did I need help. I browsed and waited and still no one came over to assist me so I ended up just walking out. I will never spend my money in a place where I don't feel welcomed.

Appointment scheduled for 3:30pm, was not seen until 4:55pm. The optometrist was not the name on the door. This optometrist wa an older gentleman that cared more about asking mine and my husbands hobbies and place of employment than having the respect of time and since of urgency. The lady at the front desk lacked a since of urgency as well. She didn't ask for my insurance card until i had waited an hour after my appointment had been scheduled. I would highly recommend anyone interested in finding an optometrist look elsewhere. They genuinely lack care for their patients, and have zero respect for time.

Dr. Michael Brosman didn't show up for my 9 a.m. appointment until almost 10 a.m. -- he wasn't even on the premises. It was then that he brushed off my comments about nearly walking out. He didn't even apologize. He would be wise to remember that eye doctors are a dime a dozen in the 'burbs, and ill treatment like this is highly disrespectful. I will be taking my business elsewhere in the future. Good riddance.

In spite of the poor reviews, I went to LensCrafters and received excellent service. The optometrist was respectful and concerned about my blood pressure and eye health. The sales associate was extremely helpful with selecting the best eyeglasses for me, including all of the available lens options. I went there over lunch, completed and eye exam, purchased glasses and was back to work within an hour. The eye glasses arrived much sooner than expected. I'll definitely be a repeat customer!

Scammers! I go in for an exam and contact lense, come out with no dilated eyes and no contacts. A few weeks go by and I check my benefits online and there's a claim on there for contacts I never ordered or received! I understand people makes mistakes, but come on...this isn't a mistake. They lied and said they were going to fix it and have my glasses ready but neither has yet to be true!

Was surprised to see other reviews. Had an excellent service experience, both during selection & measurement step, and, then again, on the date of pick up. Am of South Asian origin, but didn't feel if the treatment was partial in any way. Only reason to lose a star - I felt that lenses were tad more expensive than other prevalent options in the market for similar feature set.

Terrible service, I had limited time for my appointment and told everyone that I came in contact with (front desk, initial tech) they led me to believe that the doctor was minutes away for an entire half hour. I finally walked out and all the front desk person could say was "ok". I will never go back there.

Nice staff, not pushy even when I came in close to 6pm (closing) and helped me until 6:30 pm after I placed my order. The styles here vary from the ones in the LensCrafters in the Christiana Mall so if you don't like any there try their sister store here.

I went there spent over $500 on glasses bought the insurance 3 weeks later I noticed my lense loose drove the 70 miles back to the store to get them fixed so I wouldn't loose a lense. Went in and was told it wasn't broke and if they tried to fix them by tightening they might break so they couldn't repair them. The guy was very rude as well and got worse when I sled him if they could take the lense out and re do the string. He said he has 30 years experience and wasn't going to do anything and he didn't think it's loose enough to fall out. So they are just going to rattle till the lense falls out because he was to lazy to repair them. I would not do any business with them and I will not do any business with them again.

I have always had good results using the doctor attached to your facility until this last visit. He was rude, unorganized and did a high end exam without consulting with me. I had marked I didn't want the higher exam. The clerk wasn't helpful when she gave me the exam price. I didn't go back and get my glasses after I found frames and waited 2 hours on the exam completion. Paula was more than generous on helping me and talking to me about the situation. I will no longer be using you being associated with the doctor.

My husband was ripped off for eye test of 138.00 would not give him a presqrition told him he had cataracts should go see Dr Christopher Greer he would set up the reference with Dr Greer... haven't recieved call from Dr.Greer. Told my husband he better book appointment in morning cause they drink in after noon and get drunk, and that Dr Greer is an alcoholic...my husband thought he was in lens crafters and was sent next door to the optometrist, Oh there is no digital machine like commercials on tv have just a regular machine instead of looking straight you look to the side wall. He also yelled at him can't you see the wall. This place is a joke.

There are two separate parts-The eye exam section and the glasses purchase section. The eye exam part- My eye exam cost 90$. (With insurance was a 10$ copay). I didn't get dilation or anything.Which I'd always gotten at different eye doctor exams. A machine examined my eyes which is supposed to be the most accurate method. That was pretty neat.My husband saw the doctor and he said my husband was wasting his and the doctors time since he didn't have problems. He just wanted to make sure he was in good health and actually use the insurance we pay for. I saw the doctor and told him about problems I had but he kept insinuating I couldn't afford to get my problems taken care of without even sharing costs or solutions. I saw him for all of 3 minutes. The office wasn't busy but he was rushing me out of there.I needed glasses. I said "I didn't realize how bad my eyes were". He replied "I'm going to write this prescription. Get glasses or don't. I can't force you and it ain't my business". I can't in good conscience recommend this Malcolm Hutchins person to anyone who wants good care for their eyes. The glasses part of the business-The people over there were incredibly patient and helpful. Though the cost is a bit on the higher side for products I feel the professionals there know what they're doing. Though my glasses were done a lot later than they said and when I picked them up they were incredibly dirty. Though they say you can bring them in for cleaning and adjustments at no extra charge. Wish I could rate these two places separately.

Worst experience ever for the eye exam. The whole thing is a scam and I encourage you to find a reputable location. They charged my card and refused to give me a statement when I asked. When I tried to cancel my contact order because the contacts were terrible, I was charged $140 for a fitting fee and funds were never returned. My insurance said that was definitely a scam and apologized for the bad experience but they couldn't do anything. It's a shame because I liked the dr, but their business practice is quite unethical and customer service does not exist.

I recently visited the Lens Crafters inside of the Christiana Mall in Newark Delaware. Upon entering, I felt welcomed by the gentleman who asked if my partner and I needed assistance. We assured him that we were browsing and would find him should we need help. Immediately following, the store manager came over, Sue Hama. Sue, within moments made us feel uncomfortable as she followed us around the store as if to racially profile us. She made assumptions about our interests and the engagement felt rather predatory in manner in which she starred at us and through her commentary. It is apparent through the feedback on google that this location in particular has had several incidents of racially charged interactions. I am wondering why a woman like Sue Hama is still employed with Lens Crafters. Is this the precedent you are setting for your company? Should people of color and those of the LGBTQ community be made to feel subpar when patronizing this brand? It goes without saying that we did not purchase any items from Lens Crafters and will be launching a full campaign on social media to boycott this establishment.

I had an appointment in January, was overcharged for the eye exam and have sent around 10 emails asking for my $22 refund. They have not even responded. Dr Brosman is a poor businessman. I, too will take my business elsewhere and I have contacted corporate headquarters. Did I mention the long wait?
