He’s extremely thorough. He caught things previous eye doctors never noticed. I wish I had went to him many years sooner. With multiple eye issues I can’t afford someone overlooking anything.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. This man wanted to do 4 procedures that would total to several thousand dollars on my 92 year old grandmother that were TOTALLY UNNECESSARY. We went to get a second opinion and the other Dr. ran several tests and said there was absolutely no reason to do those surgeries. This man was also INCREDIBLY RUDE at our appointment. Luckily we had such a bad feeling about him we went to someone else to get a second opinion. I would not recommend Dr. Murphy to anyone. Make yourself an appointment with someone else.

We had a terrible experience with Dr. Murphy. He did a routine cataract surgery on my mother and totally ruined her eyes. It took her two months to be able to see again and she has never gotten back to being able to drive at night. He is very rude and arrogant. He puts across the attitude of, "I'm the doctor, don't question me; just do what I say." He talks way over the average person's head and spends way more time typing on his computer during your appointment than communicating with you. I would not recommend him to anyone.
