I had showed up for my son’s appointment at the wrong time and they still went ahead and seen him because he hadn’t been seen in a while and I really appreciate them working him in even though my “Mom brain” made a mistake. I was greeted by a welcoming staff. The wait was minimal; just long enough to fill in the new patient paperwork. Dr Dufour and his assistant were very knowledgeable, explaining each test in a manner I could understand. In fact, Dr. Dufour taught me about, and then alleviated my concerns, answering all my questions. At the end of my appointment Dr. Dufour invited me to call if I have any further questions or concerns. I’ll come back. Thank you, Dr. Dufour, and all the staff!

First off let me preface this by saying I’ve never ever left a review for any place but I would be remiss not to tell y’all about how outstanding Centerton Family Eyecare is. I’ve gone to the national eye care places and several local clinics, Dr. Skye Petty is unparalleled. I’ve worn glasses for ten years and my prescription has never changed. After seeing Dr. Petty he fine tuned my prescription and though my eyes haven’t changed I’m seeing better now than I ever have and it’s 100% because of Dr. Petty’s thoroughness. You are not a walking dollar sign here, Dr. Petty cares and it’s obvious. I would drive for two hours if I had to, this place is worth it. So do yourself a favor and visit Centerton Family Eyecare. You won’t be disappointed and you won’t be returning to your old eye doctor I guarantee it.

I really appreciate the service, the doctor was very kind and patient I took my mother there for a yearly checkup after having cataract surgery a few years back, there was a language barrier but the doctor was very patient and even spoke a little Spanish to make my mother feel at ease since it took just a little longer than normal , couldn't get the glasses made there since my mother was traveling soon, but they recommended someone else. Great people.

Front office staff has poor customer service and they are unorganized. My childs appointment was at 1:45PM, when we walked-in we were greeted with a rude "what do you need". After letting the receptionist know we were here for our 1:45PM, we were then told that our insurance authorization was placed on a hold and that we would have to call our provider and figure it out. Why wasn't this told to us before the appointment so we could make the necessary calls. We waited for almost an hour for the doctor to see my child. While waiting, I called our insurance provider to find out that their other office in Rogers was the cause for our insurance hold. With this front office being so heavily staffed you would think there would be some type of coordination/communication between their two offices.

Summary: Office is Mismanaged and/or incompetent. Detail: My child had an eye exam at school and was recommended to get a new Rx so I called to check with her eye doctor to be sure if that's what I should do. Since the new Rx was so drastically different, they were concerned ASKED me to come in and said they would do an Rx-check free of charge. However, when I arrived they informed me that I'd be charged $ to see the doctor (the info was written down on a post-it and they knew that I wasn't aware bc they specifically said it). Of course, I wouldnt pay for another exam, my child was just examined by a doctor and I'd already paid this clinic earlier this year to examine my child. Conclusion: The whole fiasco left a sour taste in my mouth and very inconvenient that I had to miss work. I'm not sure if I'll be back or just go to the eye doctor who examined my kid at school bc his office has their stuff together.

My daughter did eye therapy here once a week for about 7 weeks. Before we started they told me they would be submitting claims each week, I knew that there was a chance insurance was not going to cover it, I assumed everything was fine when they didn’t say anything. At about 7 weeks they told me they needed something from my daughters PCP before they could send claims to my insurance, I was immediately taken back because nobody said anything to me about needing anymore information. I was a little frustrated but got my daughter in the next day and they got what they needed. After this we found out insurance was not going to cover it and was again very frustrated that we didn’t find this out sooner, but I guess I should have double checked they were submitting the claims. I immediately started working with my insurance and started researching ways to help them cover it. I called the office to ask if they would submit an appeal. At first they told me NO, I was shocked but just decided to submit one myself. They called me back and said they would, but they were going to charge me and not refund me the difference for the out of pocket price anymore because it was going to create extra work for them, and it was pointless because they have never had an out of state insurance approve therapy before! I was immediately upset and said so you knew all along they were not going to cover it but didn’t bother to say anything, at that point she said she wasn’t comfortable talking to me about it anymore and would have the doctor/owner call me. She called me back saying the doctor was too busy I said ok, I’ll submit the appeal. They told me if I did they would still charge me because insurance would ask them for information thus creating more work, and again it was pointless because my insurance was never going to cover it! So we have since found another place to do eye therapy that is almost half of the price out of pocket and just as effective and they said they would help me and see if we could get my insurance to cover AND THEY ARE NOT GOING TO CHARGE ME
