After wearing glasses for some 40 years, I’ve had numerous eye exams. I’ve never had as thorough and comprehensive exam as the one provided at Boozman Hof by Dr Sullivan. Most professional service I’ve had from an optometrist. Thank you.

The politeness of the staff does not overcome the lack of scheduling and late appointments. I was scheduled for 2 tests and a doctor visit. Twenty minutes after the appointment time I was called back, expecting both tests at the same time like in a regular eye doctor, I was sent back to the waiting room after the first to wait for the second test. So what should have been about 15 - 20 minutes has taken 45 - 50 minutes. When I inquired about the doctor appointment I was told my appointment wasn't for another hour. I now have to wait 3 months to finish my appointment. Add to that the restroom was not wheelchair accessible. What was available was a slightly larger stall than normal. I suppose if I used a cane or walker it would have been a handicap restroom. UPDATE: After my husband called they gave me an appointment for the end of the week. They asked to see why I couldn't use the restroom then said there was a larger restroom in another part of the building that would accommodate my wheelchair. All in all, they corrected the problems.

2 1/2 hours later still waiting for my husband's "consult appointment" haven't even seen Dr yet ! The bad news is, it's just a consult we have to come back :( Highly disappointed in the service here.

This is the worst place to get your glasses. Their frames are overpriced. They have a stupid policy not to share your eye measurement with you because of liability issues. Any other place you go for frames will give you your PD numbers because they're not afraid if you find a cheaper deal online. Avoid this place!

Dr Myers is fantastic! The rest of the staff? Questionable. Had appointment and got call day of that Dr myers was sick and we should call back to reschedule. Called back asked for person who left message. ..and left message for her. 2 Weeks later no call back. Called and got same person asked for copy of medical records and told her I would arrive next day around lunch to pick them up. Got here after 3...they were 'putting them together'. Took 15 minutes to get my 2 pages... that I called ahead for. Making right decision by finding another facility.

My appointment was mid morning and since I was a new patient, I arrived early to do paperwork. It's very easy to get into their spacious parking lot off W. Walnut Street from I49. I was greeted warmly and was checked in, directed to the waiting room and was soon called into see the doctor ahead of my appointment time. Every step of the way, I was greeted by a friendly, caring staff. From the initial exam to the end of my visit, I felt the kindness and caring attitude everyone exhibited towards me at every turn. At times, I did have to wait but it wasn't long before I was called and continued my journey through exams and procedures. I heard many comments from patients in the waiting room, which were all positive about their time spent as they were taken care of by the great staff. As for myself, even as busy as they were, everything went quickly and smoothly. I will be going back and I thank the staff, nurses and doctors for being so caring and for their professionalism. It helped make a situation a bit easier for myself and my family.

You have to wait for at least 1 hour after checking-in. And the check up would be so quick, that you don't feel satisfied that the doctors did a complete job. And even appointments will be pushed also. I would definitely not recommend anyone.

I had LASEK at this location four years ago, and I longer use glasses or contacts to see. Unlike the individual who posted a bad review two years ago, I don't remember the surgery being painful. However, I did experience sensitivity to light and blurry vision for up two or three weeks after my procedure, but these side effects faded with time. Within a month, my vision was perfect, and I haven't worn glasses or contacts since. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with my results. Don't listen to the first reviewer. Obviously, he or she is too much of a coward to even put a name by the review.

The woman acted like I was making up my vision problems, then looked up who my mom had seen like she didn't believe that eather (and told me which doctor she saw. I never asked.) Viplation of privacy! Then she ordered me some tests, since my mom had something hereditary, but the one who did the tests was even ruder. I didn't do anymore tests and left a complaint. Then, my neurologist said it could be related to a heart condition. Makes you wonder how knowledgeable Boozman really is. I have had better luck with the eye doctor in Walmart #1.

I will not be going here anymore. You have to wait at least an hour after checking in and I feel like the workers are just in a rush. I was having multiple problems with the brand of contacts that I was wearing so after multiple appointments with them trying to figure out the best brand for me we finally found some that worked. I order them and when I go to pick them up, they re-ordered the old brand that I didn’t like. I was completely out of contacts and had no choice but to pay the money for them and deal with it. I make another appointment to get the right contacts so I go in and they give me one pair of the brand I was suppose to get. They give me one pair when I needed a whole box. I don’t know why they didn’t think to order the right brand for me, it was like they thought I was coming in for one pair of contacts. Then they tell me I’m good to go. Like no I came here to get the brand of contacts I was suppose to get months ago. Along with that, I have had the same painful eye infection for 2 years now and all they have done is prescribe me eye drops that if I want to get refilled I have to go in for an examination which costs over 100$ along with the eye drops that cost 50$ for a tiny bottle. I can’t go with out the eye drops either or my eye gets really irritated but I would have thought that they would be able to make it completely go away or give me something else that helps better.

Very disappointed with the wait time for my last two visits. My appointment today was for 3 pm, even took off work to make it on time. Over an hour and I still had not been called back at 4:15. I had to leave. My time is valuable too. I'll be looking for a new location for eye exams.

BoozmanHof has been a very friendly, clean, welcoming eye clinic. They are also very knowledgeable with everything that they do and offer there. I have sent quite a bit of my family (& friends) there and they are all very happy and pleased every time they walk in there, for anything. :) I definitely recommend everyone that I know to go and at least try it out, because I know they will love the experience they get from there. Not for me. Bibles in the waiting room. It felt like i was continuously being upsold for unnecessary tests/products. Through away my trial contacts because i did not show up "in time", although that time was never specified so has i re-order. Made it seem like my fault. Didnt care for attitude or facility. Interested more in making mobey than health IMO. Wont be back

Very poor prices of frames and lenses and bait and switch promotions. I handled the issues up to now because they responded to my complaints and honored their original advertised pricing after I held my ground. I had to call today because the lens fell out of my child's 4 month old glasses and was lost. $75 to replace 1 basic single vision polycarbonate lens - and they scratch horribly. That is closer to what I originally paid for 2 lenses and frames for a toddler ($130). Called Walmart - exact same lens with them is about $15. Do not go here, their markup must be insane!

They were 1.5 months out on scheduling appointments when i initially called in December. Receptionist was less than willing to help. They texted me two or three times to remind me of the appointment, called once, and then called me the day before to make sure i was aware of the charges (in a weeks time). Typically this would be a good thing but due to the tone of the staff, it was demeaning. When i arrived, i checked in with the kiosk 15 minutes per my arrival. At my appointment time was immediately taken back and the technician took history, vitals, and diagnostics. I sat in the room for over 30 minutes after that before they informed me the doctor was running behind. An hour after my exam, the doctor finally saw me. Doctor visit was great. When i was taken up to order my contacts, they sent me to another lady who thought they had them in stock, went back to check but didnt, and then was going to ship them to me. Later she told me someone would get with me in 3-5 business days to order them. Then when i went to check out, i requested an itemized bill for my flex spending account but they couldn't provide one because it hadn't been billed. Yet they knew exactly how much to charge me. BoozmanHof definitely is not about customer service. A 15 minute appointment took 1.75 hours from check in to discharge. I will likely be going to a new clinic next year.

I went to the clinic in Bella Vista because they would take my insurance which is Aetna. After the eye exam which was suppose to be covered, they charged me $45, said there was a medical condition. I've never had a medical condition with my eyes. Was told I could have cataracts in the future was the excuse. Now for the glasses themselves. They are operated by another company and won't take Aetna. Seems as though they could have made me aware of that before the fact. I intend to tell everyone I know what a corrupt business they are. I did give them a chance to make it right. Should have stopped payment.

I made an appointment for a vision test. At the appointment I was specific that I was there for a regular vision test. They did tests that I did not ask for. Dr. Horne told me that most of the visit would be covered by my eye care insurance but a small portion of the bill would be filed with my health insurance. This was NOT TRUE! My eye care insurance paid for $30 of the bill and I have to pay almost $200 more than what I would usually pay for a vision test. NOT OK!
