Dr.Berry is a wise & kind person. He was concerned about my eye. Saturday & Sunday his days off he had me to come in so he could check my eye to make sure it wasn't getting worst.

Dr. Berry and his staff are amazing. I went in for surgery to remove a corneal lesion on my left eye, as well as cryotherapy. It was my very first surgical procedure and I was very nervous. The nurses and staff were very professional, kind, and reassuring. They went out of their way to make me feel comfortable which really helped me calm down. The procedure didnt hurt a bit and was finished in 20 minutes or less. And throughout the procedure, a nurse sat right at my bedside and continuously assured me that everything was going fine and that I was doing great. I really can't thank Dr. Berry and his nurses/staff enough, they were excellent in every way. Would absolutely recommend to anyone who may be looking for a good eye surgeon, Dr. Berry is the best!

Dr. Kenneth Doan was my eye doctor for a number of years. I wasn't impressed with his overall care but I went to him because he "supposedly specialized" in Albinism. I took out a small loan to pay for a Bioptic; a loan someone was very gracious to help me get from my employer, so I could get my license and drive like everyone else without Albinism... Dr. Kenneth Doan and Eye Care Arkansas took my money without informing me the State of Arkansas does not permit the use of Biptics on the road! So, I was out $800 and had a pair of glasses with a Bioptic I couldn't use!...I should have demanded my money back. I now go to the Jones Eye Institute and am very happy I made the switch! I don't know if Dr. Kenneth Doan is still at this eye clinic, I last heard he was a resident at the School for the Blind...but I DO NOT recommend anyone with Albinism to go see him. I had a tough time believing he specialized in Albinism, since he allowed me to pay for a Bioptic I couldn't use. His care was about money, not about me as a patient...If you have to go here, please see Dr. Sandford Hooper instead. He really understood my case, provided better overall care and isn't even a specialist in Albinism! -Veronica Menasco (Suarez)
