I was very nervous because I have never had vision problems until recently. I have a autoimmune disorder that can cause blindness. I'm 70% deaf due to it and will continue to loose the rest of my hearing so loosing vision as well is a terrifying thought. They made me feel at ease. Listened to me. Were very kind and understanding. The doctor was really good. He spent plenty of time with me. Didn't make me feel like he was rushed or in a hurry. He really listened was understanding and also told me what changes I'd be having if it was due to the autoimmune disorder and what to do. The experience ended up positive but even if I got bad results I feel confident that I would have felt supported, cared about and would be taken care of

His assistant is kind and always has nice things to say to us. As busy as they get our there, they always take the time to chat with mom. Good practice!

I would give 5 stars for the cataract surgery. 0 stars for everything else. I had bumps on my eyelid. I was told for 4 months by 4 different doctors at this office that I had allergies. Turns out it was cancer. Now 1/3 of my eyelid has been removed,by a different Dr's office. I will not return to this office or the one in Surprise. I will not recommend these offices to anyone.

My wife and I came to Barnet*Delaney*Perkins to use up or end of the year HSA and get some new glasses. The experience with the exam was wonderful. Very efficient, very thorough, very professional. Where it went wrong was with the glasses. The selection team was distracted, it seemed like I had to ask for help and find my own glasses. I upgraded the frames and lenses during the process and was happy when the glasses arrived. Shortly after, however, I started getting neck and upper back aches from the poor fit. When reading my computer screen I had to tip my head back so far to be able to read that it was causing pain. I called to let them in now and was told that all they could do was adjust the fit. Within 2 months both my wife and I had gone back to our old glasses and the new ones from BDP are in a desk drawer not being used. Between the two of us that was close to $1000 AFTER insurance that had been wasted. Not happy with the glasses service, although the exam was very nicely done.

I had a diabetic eye exam. The wait time was atrocious and staff members were rude. The ophthalmologist brought in several interns and the room was crowded. Then, after a horrible experience, I never got a vision prescription. After calling them 3 times with no return phone call and my primary care doctor having to contact them to call me back, they finally called and responded that it would be $45 for me to get the prescription even though my insurance paid for the exam. This place is a joke. I would not recommend to anyone.

I have been here twice now well ahead of my scheduled appointment time. The first time I waited 2 hours and 40 minutes and did not get to see a doctor. The 2nd time I waited one hour and 40 minutes before checking my status in terms of seeing the doctor. I was told I was next. Twenty minutes later and I was still waiting to see the doctor before I left again. They have no respect for anyone else's time. On both visits I have seen others walk out besides me because of very unreasonable wait times! They have 4-5 people checking people in taking their money and almost as many waiting rooms where they stack up people waiting. I have spent 4 hours and 40 minutes of time here without seeing a doctor! They must assume that because we are elderly we have all the time in the world to sit and wait. I still work and my time is just as valuable as theirs!

While I like Dr. Rabinowitz and am happy with his services and the medical staff, I will not be using this facility anymore due to the support staff being incompetent. First my appointment was made with a doctor at their Goodyear, AZ location. I arrived for my appointment and was told it was with Dr. Rabinowitz at their Sun City Location. I had laser surgery on both eyes and was pre approved prior to my procedures and even prepaid my out of pocket costs beforehand. Since the procedures it has been nothing but a nightmare with the billing department. My greatest concern is that they billed me an additional $32.38 which I called and paid over the phone. The problem is they also took an additional $725.68 which I DID NOT authorize. When I got my credit card statement and saw the additional unauthorized charge I called and spoke to the same clerk and she denied taking the payment and said she doesn't show the payment! Both charges for the same day are clear as a bell on my credit card statement and the employee denies it. I have called the credit card company and am working on that. While I am happy with Dr. Rabinowitz and the medical staff I will never return to Barnet Dulaney Perkins eye center again. I equate what this employee did as theft and she has no integrity or ethical values. I will make sure to share this with all my friends, relatives and others. I have the statement as proof of the charge.

I want to alert anyone who is or is thinking of using Barnet, Delaney & Perkins for their eye care needs. DON’T! I have been dealing with them since February trying to get cataract Surgery and it has been a nightmare. If you have made an appointment be prepared to wait hours to be seen. If you are in a wheelchair be sure they see you, One gentleman was in a wheelchair when we arrived at 6:40am and by 8:00am they still hadn’t checked him in because they couldn’t see him from their seated position. I had an appointment for a cataract evaluation and after waiting over an hour I was told the doctor didn’t feel comfortable seeing me until I had my follow up appointment with the laser doctor. It was the laser doctor who told me to make the appointment before my follow up with him. I had filed 2 formal grievances with my insurance carrier, Cigna unfortunately it made no difference at this facility. They don’t care. The people are incompetent, rude and extremely lazy. Then I went for my cataract Evaluation yesterday, my appointment was for 7:40am, I got there at 7:30am. I was checked in and was waiting when I saw two other patients go up to the receptionist to find out how long it would be as they had been waiting 2hours and 45 minutes, and the receptionist said the doctor was running 2 hours late. They never told any of us this when we checked in. Not even and e-mail or text to say they were running late. I went up to the receptionist and told her I was finished with them and their practices. Got my medical records and left. I went home called Cigna and explained what had happened and told them I was transferring to another insurance company. Barnet, Delaney & Perkins is the only provider Cigna offers for cataract surgery, and due to this they take full advantage of their patients. If you don’t mind being jerked about by a health care provider then Barnet, Delaney & Perkins is the place for you. You have a choice, and yes it is time-consuming but it sure beats being treated like a herd of of cattle. I sincerely hope this helps anyone who may have been thinking of using Barnet, Delaney & Perkins, if you are using them then you already know of their lack of care and empathy. It is now 5 months later and my cataract surgery has not been done.

Good meeting with the AR people who laid out total cost based on my coverage. Outcomes. Will my co edition improve? Very pleased with surgical outcome. Vision has improved which was not a guaranteed part of the prognisis. Staff was very professional and organized. My physician spent appropriate amountof pre and post surgical time with me. Overall impressed with the operation.

Had a good experience with medical staff and optometry staff. Only issue I have is the optical department doesn't have the same hours as the medical part of the business. I've been trying to get there during their hours to pick up my new way over-priced glasses. I finally was able to get there about 15 minutes before their advertised hours ended only to find the optical staff had exited for the day. It was expressed to me that they had left early. Later I was contacted by their optical staff and they stated their hours to be 30 minutes and an hour earlier than advertised on their doors and their website. They provided most of their advertising and information is related to the medical part of the business, not the optical department. Just how hard is it to give the public accurate information?? If a business has varying hours provide that information so your patients/clients can plan accordingly. Seems like I find more and more businesses wasting our time by their poorly thought out or lackadaisical business practices. Come on Doc's, we like our golf games also. How about providing accurate information about your business so we can enjoy our Un-wasted time also??

I was very distrustful when I was first referred to BDP. The practitioner I had seen at another facility had failed to send me for glaucoma treatment promptly as she should have, so my intraocular pressure was out of control on my first visit here. The doctors and staff here redeemed my faith in the field of optometry/ophthalmology! Every one acts professionally and has always treated me with dignity and respect. You can tell when someone genuinely cares about you or when they see you as just another patient. These guys care, no doubt in my mind. Occasionally, I have to wait a little longer than usual, but when that happens, they explain the situation to you. You never just feel forgotten. I never mind waiting because I know that I will be given the same thorough treatment when I am seen and won't just be rushed out. I have recommended this practice to family and friends and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for the best eye care in the Valley!

Avoid this clinic like the plague save yourself from overbilling - I have visited the Del Webb clinic twice, I have been overcharged twice, over and above the quote given, I have been lied to by the manager over the phone. On today's visit, I had to correct the assistant on very simple technique as she couldn't even read a chart to know I was there about my right eye and she was asking about the left, when I corrected her she got a major attitude!!!! The Doctors are great but the management and billing staff really need to learn manners, decorum, honestly and mostly customer service. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS CLINIC TO ANYONE EVER. If I could give this clinic zero stars for customer service I would!

My second cataract surgery was begun with NO anesthesia! Eye drops to dull pain had been put in, but that was all. I told the person who rolled me into the OR that the anesthiast had not been in to see me. He replied that's how they always did it. I told him, "No. It is not " He went ahead and put the lid separator on my eye and moved it a couple more times. Very painful. Dr. Saini began the procedure. Finally the anesthiast came in and said she was going to put something in my IV.
