Dr has not responded to Walgreens 3 requests to contact my insurance to justify a prescription. It’s been 3 weeks and I’ve called the Drs office twice about it and asked them to please call the insurance and both times I was told they would call. Today I walked into the office and the receptionist told me that it could take 3 weeks or LONGER. Poor customer service! It should not take that long to respond to Walgreens request so that they could fill the script. It’s s medication I’ve beem on before, DEFINITELY LETTING FRIENDS /ANYONE KNOW NOT TO COME HERE!

They JUST blew their last chance with me. 2 years ago I went in for an eye exam which went fine. When I went to buy glasses they jerked me all over the place and refused to just sell me replacement lenses for the barely-used frame I currently owned. The next year I went elsewhere. So I though this year I would try BDP again. I had time and had driven into town. I called them up (and spoke to Shae/Shay?) and she said they had an appointment in about a half hour, and asked what insurance I had. I told her I had Aetna. I was asked, "no, what vision insurance do you have." I told her again -- "I have Aetna." She said, no you can't have Aetna because they don't have vision. I told her, "yes I do, because it's my vision plan and I'm paying the premium on it." I was becoming very upset because she was presuming to tell me that I do not know what I am paying for when I have 3 distinct insurance carriers for my regular health insurance, vision and dental. I had my benefit plan from Aetna Vision pulled up and was looking right at it. Shae/Shay told me Aetna goes through one of three other carriers to cover Vision. The info from Aetna says nothing about this. She said I should check with Aetna and call back and they would schedule me, but without that information they could not schedule an appointment. So I called Aetna, it took less than 5 minutes, and I called right back. Another woman answered the phone and she gave me a different number to call to make the appointment in Lakeside. Time was ticking. The Lakeside office was closed up until the appointment was to be scheduled! At this point I was furious. Shae/Shay had told me the appointment could be made but this other person said I had to talk to the actual location. So I called back again and spoke to that other woman whose name I did not get. She told me that Shae/Shay had just left for lunch (I think that was a lie), and that she could not make the appointment because she did not know if there was a doctor. Well.... how does Shae/Shay know there's an appointment there if you now are saying you don't know if there's a doctor available? You both told me two different things! So you know what???? Barnet Dulaney Perkins -- Congratulations! You ave permanently lost my business thanks to Shae/Shay and her colleague who control the appointment book at your main number. I happen to have very good insurance and a lot of money to drop on glasses, too, because I usually buy 4 pair of prescriptions on a minimum. That money will now be going elsewhere. Maybe do this the next time: Do not condescend, do not presume, do not insult, and do not blow off a customer who wants to make an appointment, and MAYBE you'll keep your business. You may have the biggest name in town but your big attitude will keep turning people away. Bye bye.

In the waiting room it was very quiet. There was coffee to make, and water available to drink and a large aquarium to watch the fishies! The magazine rack was full of current interesting topics. The waiting time flew by quickly, and then I was shown to the treatment room which was set up for my keloidal shot. After Debra did her expert needle work, I was finished! The only thing I had a problem with was the confusion on the cost. The medicare, verses the VSP plan we have. The Doctor's side said we had to pay for refraction. We did not even know what that was. They asked why we were there, that we needed to know why. How do you know why until you have your exam, so I said yearly check up. They made me decide whether to use medicare or VSP. I had no ideal what they were talking about. Very frustrating when one side does not deal with the other side of the office, for the most.

Two stars for the clean area. No stars because they have bad service. From day one they handed us a pair of mangled glasses. We asked for them to be fix or replaced. They took over a hr trying to bend them back into shape between 3 diff people. We took them home and the lens pops out. Came back 2 days later and they said there is nothing they can do . Since we are on Medicaid we can only choose from certain frames. They proceeded to tell us that those where the last set of frames that her lens will fit in. Had to wait 6 months before we could fix or replace them. Will NEVER return there and also warn anyone I come in contact with to never give them your business.

This has been my fourth visit. Th eye doctors are very good and through. The eye glass center is very good and talk as the time to make sure the glasses are perfect as in fit and made of the best materials., When I was hospitalized and my glasses were lost they were very helpfull, they shared my prescription with the VA so I could get a replacement pair. Of course the VA version was not quite as good. The sun tinting and ultra violet protection was not done. So I will always go back to Barnett &Delaney. I have cataracts growing And I will only trust Th as great folks remove them when I need to.

I saw a Dr. Stuart in Show Low AZ. He didn't bother to check the prescription formulary for my eye drops to see if my insurance would cover them. I had to get my primary care doctor to prescribe them instead, as they were indeed covered. He has a poor bedside manner, and doesn't seem to care much about his patients. He needs to retire. I believe he is giving Barnett Delaney a bad representation.
