Everyone was very welcoming. I went through a very thorough series of eye exams and everything was explained to me in a very simple and professional way. Dr Snow and staff are great!

Doctors and Staff are knowledgeable and professional. Provide quality service. Office is clean and up to date. Only wish they were better at keeping to a schedule. I went in for a routine eye exam scheduled at 7:45AM (1st appointment of the day, so I thought they would get me through fairly quickly) Didn’t finish until 9:30! Only spent about 15 minutes with medical tech and maybe 5 minutes with the Dr. The rest was just waiting! Similar delays have happened 3 out the ~6 times that I’ve been there over the past couple of years. Other side note: I wish someone could explain to me why Optometrists now require a contact fitting fee every time you get a new prescription. From what I can tell, they don’t actually do anything, and just use it as an excuse to make more money. End rant.

A very warm and pleasant place. The people are great, knowledge and huggable. I trust Dr. Snow with my eyes. Not excited about the surgery but I know it needs to be done. I feel very honored to have Dr. Snow and his associates fix my eye.

I was hoping to get a very nice experience in this place and all I had is THE WORSE EXPERIENCE EVER. I am in terrible pain, waited for 2 HOURS, and then this very stupid and rude doctor come into the room and started asking non related questions, and none about my problem I actually have. I just walk out of that place and never come back. He was the rudest doctor I have ever met. By the way his name is "Dr KENNETH SNOW". Worst ever!!!!!!

I've only been here a couple of times. The Dr was nice and was efficient, but it is a little hard to get an appointment on shorter notice. After the exam, both times I've gone I've felt pressured to spend more money. They keep trying to sell me on either a contacts exam, which costs more, or to buy their glasses. I only go as a preventative measure, I am VERY slightly near sighted and dont even wear glasses, but I feel pressured all the same.

Staff always helpful,yearly check up had catarek surgery years ago with a member of Dr. Staff but Dr hartzell the Dr u see yearly for follow up. Occasionally I will get small infection or arte that I can't clear up and when I call they get my appt. ASAP. Would highly recommend this location and Dr Hartwell.

Dr. Hartzell did a thorough exam of my eyes and Rebecca was great help in picking out my glasses! This was my first visit and definitely will return!

I came into Dr. Hartzell's office with an eye injury. As a new patient during the snowbird season, his staff took me in the same day, and within a couple of hours. His staff is helpful and everyone in his staff greets you with a smile. I had a very little wait time and was efficiently in and out of the office. I highly recommend this office.

Dr. Hartzell is wonderful. If you have any questions or concerns, even if it's family history, he explains any problems and answers all questions. You never feel rushed. His staff is also very through with their exams and tests. Nice friendly atmosphere. I've never had a long wait when seeing Dr. Hartzell.

When I confirmed my appointment with Dr. Snow, I explained that this was my first visit, and that I would have a volunteer driver from Friends In Deed, so needed to know how much time would be required. I was told about an hour. When I got there, I was told - it would be more like two hours. It ended up being THREE hours. My driver was furious. My appointment was at 3:05 PM, and I didn't even see the doctor until 5:25 PM. He did his exam and dictated the results to Dr. Templeton - my regular eye doctor. By the time all this was finished, it was getting close to 6:00 PM. Since I was so concerned about my driver, I didn't feel comfortable asking Dr. Snow questions or getting an explanation that I had planned. I'm sure this experience has no reflection on Dr. Snow's expertise as a surgeon, but truly feel something has to be done about the scheduling in this office. Another GV resident told me that since Dr. Snow isn't here every day, that they overbook. It seems like this might be the norm for this particular office, as one of the assistants brought us snack bars and water, and it didn't seem to be an unusual situation. Sorry about this review, but truly feel like there should be more thought given to scheduling. Believe it or not, not all of us in Green Valley are retired, and my time has value too.
