I am severely myopic, so much so that I was not a candidate for LASIK. Dr Duffey performed operations on both my eyes, inserting Verysis IOL implsnts about 12 years ago. A few years ago I suffered a retinal detachment that was treated by Dr Douglas. Dr Douglas and Dr Duffey worked closely together to treat me for a cataract that developed as a result of the treatment for the retinal detachement. Since then, I have developed a cataract in my other eye that I am scheduled to have removed and repaired. Because of the severity of my condition, my treatment is much more complicated. Dr Duffey is highly regarded for his advanced technical skills. Through my experiences, I can only concur. We a very fortunate to have someone of his skills and acumen in Mobile, AL

Dr. Duffey performed LASIK on my right eye about 15 years ago. For many years the vision was so good, I called it my "super eye". I was so impressed with Dr. Duffey's skill level that when a new issue with my eyes occurred, I called Dr. Duffey in Mobile rather than going to someone here in Pensacola. If your trying to decide what Dr. to go to for LASIK or your eyes in general, don't tax your brain any longer and go see Dr. Duffey. He is honest, thorough, and his surgical skills are outstanding.

Dr. Duffey has gone out of his way to heal me from a major eye trauma. I was referred to him by my local eye doc in Ocean Springs, and Dr. Duffey saw me immediately. Multiple accounts suggested I might lose my eye, or require a vision-crippling surgery. Dr. Duffey was careful to make his own assessment and held off on the surgery that would inevitably limit my vision, 'opting' for a non-invasive recovery while it might still be possible for the eye to heal itself (based on his own assessment). He gave me detailed instructions for this route and made it a priority to keep a close eye on it himself in case the situation changed. I'm elated I was lucky enough that I'm now on the path to a FULL RECOVERY, and it wouldn't have even been a consideration if not for Dr. Duffey's expertise and focused attention to my particular issue. This man is over and above. Also great discourse: kept me informed, calm, and valued throughout the intense ordeal.
