Refused to accept tests sent from another doctor for comparison to previous results; seems that the reason was that they did not have records of previous visit of less than two years ago because of moving offices? Dr. Persaud offended that I didn't want an office visit to unncessarily redo tests done that day that were just sent to him for comparison. Tried my best to get all records transferred to the new doctor, because his original hope of comparing new and old results wasn't possible. Reason for visiting new doctor initially was that Dr. Persaud was not informative and didn't follow up on treatment.

Was sent to see Dr. Ready because I had developed a macular pucker. After examining my eyes he decided not to do anything because I could be corrected to 20/20 despite the fact that my vision has drastically changed the past year. Before I left I paid my copay and they were to file with my insurance company. A few days later I received a bill dated 2 days after my appointment, the day before the insurance received a claim, for the full charge without even a credit for the copay I paid at the appointment for immediate payment. When I called to asked why I was billed before the insurance claim was filed all I was told was my balance was $0 and was NOT given an explanation of why they billed so quickly. I then called the doctor's office and asked why I received the bill. All they could do was refer me to the billing department. It is obvious that this practice cannot control the billing company they have hired. In my opinion if they cannot do that I CANNOT trust the doctor with the health of my eyes. GOODBYE Dr. Ready and Retina Specialists of North Alabama.

Shoutout to this place (Dr. Persaud and his teammates) for being awesome! I called them this morning and explained my emergency (I can’t see out of my left eye). They saw me within two hours (as a brand new patient), and out in 20 mins with prescriptions to Walgreens. Super nice and thanked me for my service. 10/5 would recommend.

Persaud did my husband lens replacement. He was told he wouldn't need glasses after surgery. Surgery was botched looks like he has a cat eye on the right. He went back several times nothing was done to correct it his vision is horrible note so over 3000 dollars spent to be screwed up and never corrected. I personally wouldn't let him do surgery on my dog now. Pitiful to have faith spend your money then have worse vision than before the surgery. I personally wouldn't recommend him for anything. I feel so sorry for my husband to spend all the money for worsevision. Absolutely pitiful.
