Gentle persons; Hear ye! My review of Dr. Parker's ophthalmology practice is one of the easiest 'jobs' I've ever undertaken. In addition to being a marvelous physician/surgeon, Dr. Parker has an assured and calming manner; describing carefully, the procedures/protocols he will follow. This is so important for his patients frame of mind. Doctor Parker always thanks the patient for "waiting'. It shouldn't be an issue. I've been meaning to post a review regarding Dr. Parker's knowledge and care for sometime, finally getting around to this. I'm not affiliated with Parker Cornea in any way other than a patient. I came to Parker Cornea about four years ago after having 2 superficial keratectomy surgeries to one eye from another Dr. in south Alabama. The 2nd surgery left my 20/15 vision with 20/60. I had the keratectomy surgery after advisement (not Dr. Parker) from a scratch to my eye from an accident. After the 2nd surgery which left me with 20/60 blurred vision and halo's around lights, I did my own research and found three specialist. The Mayo Clinic, Emory Eye Center and Dr. Parker. After explaining my situation, the Mayo Clinic and Emory suggested Lasik to correct the problem. Dr. Parker took his time with me during my examination, studied my history and asked for me not to have any further surgery. Dr. Parker advised to wait for the eye to correct itself with annual check-ups. So I took Dr. Parker's advise, enduring glasses that changed prescription over time and my eye eventually came back to 20/10 vison, uncorrected. It is still changing and is no longer 20/10 it's 20/20, however I have superb distance vison in that eye. I just wanted to say I have the utmost respect and loyalty for this man who I know saved my eye from further problems. I trust him completely, Thank You Dr. Parker!

And also I got to meet some doctors from Holland this is one of the greatest days of my life I was totally surprised and I was privileged to meet these doctors and Mrs.Prker. these two doctors on Miracle workers God has really used them to perform miracles . A family and I talked about and brag about Dr John and Jack Parker everywhere we go everyday we are so proud of them and we just love both of them, I was so happy and privileged to meet with these doctors from Holland. When we meet other people that have eye problems we always recommend Dr John and Jack Parker at the Callahan Foundation. One of my daughters stay with me for 2 days and when she went back to work they gave her a $2 raise and a supervisor position so we are totally proud and honored to know Dr John and Jack Parker, we've just had so much positive and so much happy things good things happen for us since October 31st when I had surgery. God bless my Parker I love them so much thank you

I would not go back to this Dr for nothing in this world, the ladies that work there are wonderful , Ms.L and the other lady who helped with my eye exam and fitting examples of lens are the sweetest professional ladies, but The Dr. wasn’t so wonderful, I had test done I think at least 3 or 4 and when he came in my eyeballs from one of the test were on the computer, he DID NOT discuss one of the test but did tell me my diagnosis and gave me a sample of meds and BYE!!!!!... That is not a good dr to me!!!!! .....

We drove 3 hours to get here. We arrived at 11:00 am. Our appointment was at 11:30a.m. she wasn't called back until 12:49. No one told us anything. I had to go to the counter and ask when she would be called back then miraculously she was called 10 min later. We then sat in the back room for another hour. I understand he is a good doctor and all but I think next time we will go somewhere else.
