Bama Boo

Dr. Taupeka did my eye surgery. The muscle in my right eye had quit lifting my lid. He did an awesome job. The only issue is he also did my left eye so it would not droop to accommodate the sudden lifting of the right. The problem is he didn't do it. He let someone else do it. This wasn't cleared with me. You can definitely see the difference. I have scarring over my left eye. There is none over my right...the one he did. I just wish he would've done both. My left eye also hurt more and took twice as long to heal.

My 14 year old son had some type of growth on his eye lid that needed to be removed surgically and Dr Taupeka was recommended to us. It was a pleasant experience from beginning to end. Everyone from the front desk to the nurses to Dr Taupeka himself were pleasant and seemed genuinely concerned about his health. We were seen quickly in his office in Mobile and the surgery was scheduled quickly as well. Dr Taupeka himself called the following day to see how my son was doing and also to see if we had any questions. We never felt rushed or confused or concerned about any procedure. Dr Taupeka put us at ease the minute we met him and his staff. I would highly recommend him to anyone.
