Dr. Bains is a phenomenal doctor! My family and I are beyond pleased with the care my daughter has received from her in the past couple of years. My daughter has congenital Peters Anomaly along with other physical and mental disabilities. Dr. Bains and the staff at Alabama Ophthalmology Associates have always treated her with kindness and dignity.

NEVER would I recommend Dr. Baines to anyone who has Lattice Cornea Dystrophy. I have had Lattice Cornea Dystrophy since birth. I have had four cornea transplants for my condition by the best Ophthalmologist in tin practice, Dr. Roswell Pfister in Birmingham and Dr. Erich Groos in Nashville. Dr. Baines misdiagnosed my condition of 57 years as corneal ulcers and suggested a contact lense. Her diagnosis prevented me from getting immediate compensation from Vocational Rehab to help finance my transplant. Under no circumstances would I recommend her to anyone who has Lattice Corneal Dystrophy. She does not listen. She micromanages her office with over booking. She is not empathetic.
