How are you going to strongly refuse and turn somebody off and claim that you can not help them just because they are not “American” ?! If that’s the case we suppose : A tourist trying to ship something... A foreign student trying to ship something... A H1 visa holder trying to ship something... A political refugee trying to ship something... I can go all day and you telling me that all the above are not good enough for your service just because they don’t hold or carry “an American passport or American ID”. We suppose you yourself were in Europe, Africa,South America, Russia...how would you feel if someone at a FedEx store over there refuse to serve you because you are carrying an American passport or American ID?! I would love to hear your answer to that! Not cool and it feels discriminating. And again before you go saying that... I can take a picture of my “government issued ID” which is the new regulation because it does match my address here in culpeper and everything yet you still gave me the look and turned me away when fedex ANYWHERE accepted it. So there was no other excuse other than that. Plus an apology for the misunderstanding would sound better than blaming FedEx for your action because their regulation is set forth right...”government issued ID” matching the address. And I provided that.
