This place is a fk'ing joke , I tell them i want to ship my box out ups, She tells me the price will be 14.29 , that is almost 2x the cost i payed to get it shipped to me. Then i find out they shipped it usps, I was told it would take 3 to 4 days to get their , then i tracked the number and it will not get their till th 19th , what a joke!

This postal service center is the best. The lady’s are always so helpful and cheerful whenever I go in and I go in pretty regularly. Never had no problems that they didn’t address correctly. Thank you all for making my life easier. My packages are always sent in a timely manner which makes my life a whole lot easier. So hats off to all of you dedicated workers.

Avoid sending/shipping anything from this location. Plattsburgh Mail and Shipping Center recently failed to give a package that was to be sent from this location through a courier. I brought the package to the center on August 2, 2016, it is now August 22, 2016 and the recipient has yet to receive the package. I had to file an inquiry through the courier, and upon them getting back to me they stated that the package was never received from their location and if it was somehow not scanned during the initial pick up, it would have been scanned during the shipping process and tracking would have been activated. Tracking through the courier states to this day that a shipping label was created and they were notified electronically that a package was to be picked up from Plattsburgh Mail & Shipping Center, but yet the package is among the missing. To resolve this issue I have had to repeatedly contact Plattsburgh Mail and Shipping Center, although they stated that they would follow up with me after getting in contact with the courier. Their only attempt to contact me was 30 mins after my first phone call to them, in which Chantelle was nice enough to inform me that she passed this issue along to her supervisor and to the woman that handled processing the shipping label for my package. However, neither women attempted to call me and I have not only had to reach out to them frequently via phone but I also had to stop in at that store location to speak with them directly. They stated that they have not received the package back from a different courier and they do not have it at their facility. Their resolution to this issue is to have me file a claim with them so that I can receive compensation at the value of the items contained within the package. There are items within that package that cannot be replaced. I am extremely disappointed and have lost all trust for a business that I have utilized for 6 years. They stated that a package has never mysteriously gone missing from their store, however their lack of effort and empathy states otherwise. I will not be returning to this location again.

Worst customer service ever, rude and unprofessional to say the least. I wish there was a way to put 0 star. I have been a customer for years, I was told by one of the employees that I can reopen my mailbox once I receive my next shipment since I had a low season. Although I have been doing it the same way for years, the manager refused to honor her employee’s words; I should have been advised of the change. What really have me fuming is when she said I quote: “can you cut to the chase? what is it that you want because I am busy and I don’t have time to waste” how can a manager talks to a client that way? I was calm and professional throughout the whole conversation as a business owner I take pride in finding solutions for my clients and when I can’t I don’t disrespect them. They just lost a customer. Save yourself the headache and keep your respect pick a company that will value you and your money.

I called UPS and was told it would cost $21.25 to mail a 15 lb. box. So, I brought it to Plattsburgh Mail-Shipping Center and they told me it would cost $44.00. So, I went to UPS out on Banker Rd. and paid the $21.25 and shipped it. I recommend using UPS directly!!!
