I came here to view the comments and maybe write a review myself, and was not surprised in the least to see the only other two comments portrayed negatively. I have lived in Brandon for only a couple months, yet the "problem" started immediately. The extreme careless in the manner the mail is delivered is in my opinion extremely unprofessional. I have a standard size mailbox which has a comfortable amount of room for a day's mail. I noticed right away that the magazine that I have been subscribing for 7 years now, was being delivered to me folded and creased in half. Oh well, no big deal I thought, it's just a magazine. However, as recent college graduates, my girlfriend and I anxiously awaited our diplomas to be mailed to us. Both of them arrived to our residence on the same day, June 30th. They came in 2 8x11 envelopes which both could have fit neatly in our mailbox with a nice soft bend, but rather were creased in half right through the big fat letters stamped on the outside of the envelope that read "Important Document Enclosed". Needless to say our very professional documents were damaged. Now, since then, I have brought this to the post offices attention, however, the problem resumes. Recently, I was told by the staff there, that this is how the post office delivers all their mail at every post office nationwide. Which striked me rather confusing. Because Brandon SD is the only residence I have ever encountered this problem on a regular everyday basis. I received no apology from the post office, rather they told me to mark everything with "DO NOT BEND" that I do not want bent and folded completely in half. "IMPORTANT DOCUMENTS ENCLOSED" is not good enough. So I am doing my civil duties to pass on this knowledge so that no other citizen will be troubled with a situation similar to mine. Anyone mailing any professional documents they do not want damaged by the post office must mark them as "DO NOT BEND". Post offices' like this one give the hard working mail carriers around this great nation a bad rap. I rate them a 1.
