Interviewing is a nerve racking experience for someone and to drag them through the mud because they aren’t up to your standard is very demeaning. The interview I had with Nikki will scar me for life. I have never had someone be so judgemental. To have them turn their nose down on me because my skill set is different than what they were looking for. It was very unprofessional to be so rude and unkind. I would never in my life treat someone the way you did me. You help people who pay you but if they can’t do anything for you then they are useless. My review of Professionally Written LLC. Is as follows: The manager Nikki is very judgmental and discriminated against me and my choice if I smoke cigarettes or not. I met with her on an interview and even without getting to know me she walked by me and said "oh you smoke oh no no!" I explained to her I don't smoke at work and I was nervous because of the interview. I had half a cigarette because I was nervous which is self explanatory interviewing for a new position after 13 years working at the same company. She seems very hard to work for in this small business and with that statement I wouldn't have taken the job in a place where a woman discriminates on a personal choice to smoke or not to smoke. The lady upfront was very nice and offered a bottle of water while I waited for the "manager" and I was able to look at her resume template. The resume format she uses is a very basic template glorified with bullets etc. Which can be found on the internet for free. She tested me on the short cuts keys for her "basic" MS Word resume template and rudely explained to me it is easier to do control Z short cut key to undo a mistake instead of pushing the undo button on the menu. I knew all of the other short cut keys on the keyboard and inserted, cut, paste etc. On the "basic" resume. She asked me to undo this on the document and that on the document and was discussing the undo shortcut button on the menu verses control Z undo on the keyboard. She asked me to undo all of it and then on a two page resume said " put the line where it was", after asking me to go to the view menu and view it as one page.(which I did correct) I felt she was looking at any way to fail me because of my choice to smoke. I am aware everyone has their own opinion and maybe you agree with me or not on this review. I will say smokers beware if you visit this business. Nikki made me feel like I was unprofessional because I smoke. The funny thing is I have never smoked at my place of employment. She also stated " don't want my clients to smell smoke" If you don't want someone to smoke on your job description say "no smoking" instead of wasting my time to try to show you my skills when I already knew I never had a chance. Good lucj. RESPONSE TO JASON. NO MORE OR I WILL FILE HARASSMENT CHARGES ON YOU. ITS OVER DROP IT. THANK YOU KINDLY. To Jason I am glad you have your own opinion and I like the way you said I was " petty", You wasn' there or on the phone the night before when the manager and I talked about my qualifications. You I am sure an employee or someone who knows Nikki personally. I don't need a response and it is my right to review a business as to however I choose lol... FYI I placed first in an interview competition two years in a row in college. It's not that big of a deal for you to comment on the reviews of the business. God Bless you and your children. You don't know me and if you did you might like me.. or maybe not. No need to respond it's over. I wasnt what they was looking for in that establishment. The end. RESPECTFULLY

I'm an older guy and I've never really been the type to write reviews, but Professionally Written is worth taking the time to write this review. First off, I wanted to address the user A.B. who wrote the review about smelling of smoke at their interview; Google reviews are for the customers to brag about their service with them, not a place to whine about why you didn't get a job there! You cannot be bitter about a place because they have high standards and you just weren't what they were looking for. Based off your petty reaction it sounds like they dodged a bullet with you. It shows your character and I wouldn't want someone like you handling my business anyway. I’m a smoker and Nikki has been nothing but courteous to me, plus funny thing is even though I am a smoker I wouldn't want to go into a professional setting and have the person dealing with my business to reek of cigarettes. I've been a client with Professionally Written since they were in Landmark Towers (many years) and I have always been satisfied with their work. Their resumes are top notch and call it basic or not, but I've gotten EVERY job I've wanted over the years because of their resumes! If my son and daughter ever need a resume, a notary, legal work (they’re teenagers!), or whatever Nikki and Professionally Written will always be my first choice!
